MAC Warm & Cozy Collection
MAC Nail Lacquer: Blissed Out, Dim the Lights

MAC Warm & Cozy Collection: Nail Lacquers

Two very opposite shades of nail lacquer come along with Warm & Cozy Collection.

  • Blissed Out is a creamy beige with just a touch of pink. It’s more beige than pink, and it has a very creamy finish, but there seems to be just the faintest bit of shimmer laced in the formula. Like very, very subtle – I didn’t even notice it until I saw it in the photos. It took three medium-thick coats to get a mostly opaque look. I found the formula to apply smoothly and evenly, though – no streaking.
  • Dim the Lights is a red-toned chocolate brown with a cream finish. This one I didn’t detect any shimmer, even in photos. It’s very rich and dark. The color reminded me of molten chocolate, actually. It’s an interesting shade, though I don’t think I’ll wear it much myself.

Feel so crazy that I am just finding/seeing these now ...

Blissed out seems like what i expected Seasonal Peach to be / based on the cremesheen promo pic. (although i am one of the few people who is satisfied with S.P as well :) )

It really looks like melted chocolate on your nails!

Blissed Out looks lovely, I think I get that one!

Blissed Out looks very similar to Pile from Rescue Beauty Lounge.

Val, are you saying Blissed Out looks similar to RBL's Plié on your hand? Because Blissed Out looks very peach, and Plié always looked more grayed-out cooler pink to me.

Mmm, Blissed Out looks beautiful. I'll pass on Dim The Lights though.

Blissed Out is pretty and an interesting shade of nudy peach. Definitely on trend with the nude fleshy colour trends for spring.

Dim the Lights has my name on it <3 thanks Christine

Hi Christine! How does Dim the Lights compare to Rich Dark Delicious from the Jin Soon Choi collection? I won't receive the latter 'til X-Mas and want to know if I should pass on this one in the meantime.

Here's my swatch of Rich, Dark, Delicious - http://www.temptalia.com/mac-nail-trend-fw-09-collection-swatches It's more of a black-brown, while Dim the Lights is definitely brown. Like it's brown in natural, indoor, etc. light - it's not as dark.

Thanks, Christine! Looks like I'll have to pick up this one too...haha

i just want blissed out nail polish . not the brown one. i bought the ligh purple taupe one from love lace already. i cant wait for warm and cozy to come out ! thanx christine. i also cant wait for l/s and l/g swatches.
