the 130 brush is available on the uk website with the mineralized foundation collection but i havent seen it in the shops m wondering if its an online thing online hmmm..

yes definetly, i was thinking that same thing. i actually like lipgelees better then lipglass. their not so sticky. i have 1 in the color valentines.
grrrrrrrrrreat i have to see the cremeblend blushes but i think that imma get at least 1 or two. i am currently using one under fun and games to make it show up on me since im an nc40. the matte shadow and powder sound cool since their matte.

well……honestly, personaly i fell let down by the choice of packaging.
it is ok but not really a big ‘begining of the year’ collection for MAC. they could’ve so much more with this designer, her stuff is great!! mac, you should know were suckers for elaborate (sp? eek!)packaging…’sigh’…. fingers crossed the brushes are cute.
im more excited for the boudoir collection, probly outta my price range but its so cute n chic, they shouldve made it a bigger collection ( this would’ve been a HUGE hit if it came out while the victorian style was majorly in fashion last year.
I totally agree with you about the packaging, they could have done so much more to make this look like a limited edition collection, like they did with Dame Edna etc. It doesn’t say Lilly Pulitzer or Lillyland on anything at all.

Geez..finally a semi-original trend coming out from MAC! Ha. It’s been a while since they’ve done anything different. I’m kind of looking forward to the lip gelees..and the face powders should be interesting.

These are so pretty and so spring! I like the Pearlmatte eyeshadow and face powder and the lush and bright, preppy and shift to pink lip gelees.

Wow I’m not blown away at all, maybe some of the cream blush and nail lacquers, but definitely not the floral pattern stuff… fortunately I think there’s another collection that day, so I’ll save up for that one

Possibly the eyeshadow and definitely at least one of the blushes but that will probably be it. Disappointed with the look of the Pearlmatte face powder… Too many colours, wish they would have stuck with all pinks or all bronzes…
if they only came out with more than just one e/s i would be very interested. i’ve stayed away from mac cream blushes because of my oily skin type, i hope these are cream to powder, that would be great. those flower patterns sure look pretty but then again the rose romance had pretty patterns too so i guess we’ll have to wait for your verdict christine. thanks for the info.

The only thing I can say about this collection is -meh- … Nothing just appeals to me

I think that I’ll pick up the eyeshadow and nailpolishes for sure. I’ll wait and see how pigmented the lipgelees are. Seriously, the paint pots are SO boring. I want some bright lippies and fun paint pots! I hate creme blushes, so unless there’s anything extraordinary about this formula, I’ll be passing.
Oh I like the look of those Cremeblend Blushes and Lipgelees and they’ll come out a couple of months before Spring so that’s not too bad, I’d probably wear these more in Sunnier months that Jan/Feb
would be nice if a collection would have new paintpot or paints.

I like the eyeshadow and nail polishes. The e/s reminds me of an Anna Sui trio, which was sheer and wearable. The polishes look fresh. Will have to see about the face powder.

As others have said, packaging could have been better and too many of these items are permanent or repromote. The only thing that I’m excited about are the cream blushes!! I might cave in for the 2 embossed e/s and face powder compacts… Will have to see in person and swatch.
If that Optimistic Orange cream blush looks orangey and not so corrally then I’m definitely getting that. I got a thing for orange colored blushes.
Wow, the pearlmatte shadow and face powder compacts look gorgeous… Can’t wait to see how they swatch and what the finish on these look like… I would hate to find out that they aren’t pigmented or worth getting as they just look so pretty!
I liked last winter’s collection better. This one I’m not too excited about because it reminds me so much of the sweets collection, which I already have. I have enough pink and green to last me into the next decade. However, I would have figured that after the success of black collection they would have stuck with the theme a bit longer. What of the emo colors? Like the deep reds and metals?

No, the lipgelees aren’t sticky, and they aren’t really thick either. They do last a long time on the lips though.

I hate Lily Pulitzer, but I have to say that the style of the eyeshadows is really adorable. The only negative thing I have to say about this is tat since it is Lily Pulitzer MAC could’ve brought out some really bright and different colors. Chances could’ve been taken with this collection, but for people with more neutral tastes this collection will suite them well.

I’m will be getting the pearlmatter eyeshadow (pretty sure), the face powder (for sure), the lipgelee in Resort Life, and one of the two nail polishes… or both. I think I’ll start saving now… After the Mischief Makers collection :p
I am a huge Lilly Pulitzer fan and I must say that I am disappointed that the products don’t have any special packaging. Lilly is all about print! Strange they didn’t make at least a compact with a cute design.

I’m a long time lurker on your site but I have to say as a medium golden (fair nc30 or tanned nc35) natural auburn head that loves true spring pinks I am totally lemming this collection. (Orange pinks just make me look orange like an oompa loompa.) Not to mention I love a lot of Lilly stuff. The whole lot appeals to the girlie girl in me in a serious way. Thanks for the post! I might actually forfeit the Holiday Chanel and wait for this set. OMG!!! I want every item except some of the permanent ones I already have. I haven’t wanted any early year collections since Barbie, and I did get the majority of that collection!

I think lilly pulitzer clothing is kinda goofy lookin. BUT i really love the collection they have with MAC. Def getting all the blushes, coconut ice, resort life lip gelee eye shadow, and face powder
