Digi-Pops is Nordstrom’s Anniversary Collection, which is also available at The Bay (in Canada), but will not launch elsewhere as far as I know. It has several portions, so check the launch date on each, because the dates are a little all over the place! Edit: It’s supposed to release internationally in August.

Yay! Glamour OD, Spanking Rich, Utterly Posh are coming back. New Dazzleglass colors sound fabulous, and I can’t wait to try out dazzle lipstick. Yum.
I’m only interested in the Dazzleglasses and Dazzle l/s. But the ipalette is pretty boring cause you can already make one at the MAC store.

Usualy the Nordstrom exclusives got me jumping up and down but I’m a bit disapointed with this years color story. The permanent e/s refils? boring… Already own a lot of repromoted things from the look boxes and brushsets. The dazzle lipsticks don’t sound like my kinda shades at all so this is probably going to be a cheap release for me
There are only 2 dazzleglasses that spark my interest ATM.
They are crazy. Nothing new. I have looked forward to the new cute eyeshadow palettes every July. I get them at the Bay. Last year I bought 2 or 3 and the pink flowers one was one of the best palettes ever made. This is a silly excuse not to spend real money on new packaging, or a new campaign and products. Very very disappointed. You can get all these shadows and empty palettes at several MAC stores or get them on line (I am sure).
I have heard… Dazzle Lipsticks are launching in August everywhere else in the US – I’m not sure why Nordstrom is getting an early release. I have also heard these are perminant at Pro stores.
Oh yeah, and they’re apparently bad-ass. Lipsticks with a WHOLE LOT of glitter!

Each eyeshadow is $11, the quad that you can put them in is $5.

Cuz then im confused about Small Eye Shadow Pro Palette Eyeshadows ($11.00 U.S. / $13.00 CDN)- does this mean the plastic pallette you put them in is $13.00 and you have to buyt the eyeshadows seperate? Can you also just buy the eyeshadows if you dont want the quad pallete?
This is an eyeshadow quad – the Small Eye Shadow Pro Palette is 15-pan (holds 15) vs. the quad, which only holds 4. It is the plastic palette that comes empty. I’m sure you could just buy the shadows, since it’s separate

Let me try and understand this. Is this the first time the Bay/Nordstrom summer will have NO new eyeshadow palettes. The 2 I bought last July were fabulous. Buying for years. Are they crazy? Absolutely ridiculous if they don’t have new palettes with new colours this year. They are usually better than holiday palettes. I always buy both though. Who cares about usual same old shadows that they have had for years like sketch etc.

I am confused again. Can you not get the palettes at any MAC store. I live in Toronto and we have a few Mac stores. I always go to Yorkdale. So, that is not unique, if that is the case. I have always looked forward to the new and exciting shadow palettes each July.

One thing I cant stand at the moment is that Ive been waiting for repromotes of the Flastronic shadows, ever since I came across them in pictures and here as well, and they just had to place them in a Look in a Box when I just want the shadows on their own =( Hope they come out individually in the near future. I’m especially crossing my fingers for Ether Deep, such a pretty color, me want NOW!
I do have my eyes on the new Dazzle Lipstick and a few Dazzleglasses, yay!

It’s a store in Canada.
It’s very comparable to Macy’s. They sell high end stuff, and it’s busy. It’s not as sparse as Nordstrom (does that make sense?). Also, there’s no piano player!

you know what’s annoying? these nordstrom-only releases. i live in new york freakin’ city and i have access to just about everything EXCEPT a darn nordstom. (can you tell i’m ticked?!) i had to drive to Rhode Island to get Gwen’s L. by LAMB fragrance when it first came out because it was nordies-only. ok… end rant.

According to the info, it’ll be available internationally in August, but I have no idea what the distribution is, since in the U.S. it’s Nordstrom only.
Surprisingly nothing interests me with this collection. I’m holding out for the in the groove, felines and disney collections.

I’m belgian, and we get even less collections than the Netherlands do, last year, the lookboxes were released there, but it’s not that evident for me to travel there, just for make up, and we can’t order stuff from their stores, so that why I said evil MAC ^^ Thanks for your very fast responses!! I’ll keep my fingers crossed that this year will be the year that we, small Belgians, won’t be overlooked ^^

You know what always confuses me about USA store exclusives (i.e Sephora or in this case Nordstrom) what happens when it hits other country’s does it just go on sale on all the MAC stands & online?

I have no idea why there is a lag between releases, but I don’t think anything goes on sale here. I very, very rarely see high-end brands get discounted, other than a few like Stila, which always seems to be discounted.

Yeah, everything inside are repromotes, though some were/are LE products (e.g. Pretty Baby).

No, they’re regular. SE indicates special edition, which are machine-made rather than man-made with shorter handles.
I’m not super excited for this collection, but I am glad I’ll finally be able to get a 4x palette. I need a new empty one, but they’ve been sold out for ages online. I bought the last one my local MAC store had, and they said they didn’t know when they’d be able to get more in. Still need one more!

Just came back from Metrotown (Burnaby, BC) – these are available for “preview purchase” at The Bay already. Not that impressed with the dazzle lipsticks…seemed a bit gritty when swatched on my hand.

the palette thing didn’t seem that exciting to me, since in the uk it seems that counters also have the pro refill palettes…
although the colours of lipsticks and glosses look intriguing, i’m not too keen on sparkle…it’s another one of those ‘purchase but don’t wear’ items…so i better stay away from this collection!

u know what these new mac dazzle lipsticks remind me of (just by the pictures), they kinda look like the sparkle lipsticks at victoria secret. where u can see sparrkle specks on your lips. everyone go check them out! i love VS lipsticks- their so creamy and nice- very similiar to macs, but 2 dollars less. christine reviewed one of them already.

I’ve seen/swatched the lipsticks and look in a box already. I work at Nordstrom and the makeup artist showed it to me as well as game me the booklet for the collection. The lipsticks are veerrry creamy/opaque and veeerrrry shimmery not as much chunky glittery but I guess you can say its glittery, its not my cup of tea, I don’t like shimmery lipsticks but the look a in box was nice! I’ll put the pics of the booklet on my blog but I didn’t take pics of the collection because I was clocked in, not sure if I’m allowed to even if I’m off the clock…

I was just at the Bay tonight and the MAC counters here already have this collection on display and are taking pre-orders for July 8th, so Nordstrom may be doing the same:)
FYI: I tried on Smash Hit and I love it!!! Plus, these dazzle lipsticks are super long wearing! I had it on for 2 hours after I got home and then washed my face and I could STILL see the dazzle! I am totally getting a few of these!
I am pretty excited about this launch, I adore the “look in box” concept, especially since I do not own a wide range of products, I think this is perfect for those who dont own alot of MAC, are newer to the brand, or would like to try a few things out at once for a reasonable price, I could go to sephora and spend the same on 3 MUFE shadows, so I love when places do boxed sets/collections with various products, also love when they have the brush sets, since I never know which ones to pick out, this is a great way for someone to get the most for their money!

YAY, I was just a Nordys this morning and already previewed all of this stuff. I got about 5 e/s for my pallette, 2 dazzle glass’, and 1 lipstick. The colors are awesome! I picked spakin’ rich and utterly posh for the dazzle glass and Hot Sass for the lipstick!!! Super shimmery and super awesome for the beach!
The MUA there suggested that I wear Hot Sass with the orange lipliner from To The Beach collection, I was like “ooooohhhhhhh yeeeeeaaaaahhhh!”

Wow, I don’t understand why the little brush collections are $10.00 more expensive in Canada when the Canadian and US dollar are almost equal. Mac pricing in Canada annoys me to no end, I wish I lived closer to the border because it would almost be worth the road trip =P

Since I really don’t like how Sigma copied MAC’s number system AND brush shapes (even if they are not 100% accurate copies, they’re not significantly modified in any way that would say… it’s just a coincidence!) that I wouldn’t myself. :/

i own a sigma brush set but i’ve never owned mac brushes an thought it was too expensive to buy the full size. should i get the travel kits shown above?
I would just buy full-size brushes if you find you use a particular one a lot – the quality would be comparable to your Sigma brushes, IMO.
These are on preview at Nordstrom locations. I’m a total MAC junkie and I have to say I was disappointed.
The brush sets are sub-par as compared to previously-released brush sets (the case was SO flimsy!) Also, as someone else posted, the Quad pallet can be made online (not sure if they have new eyeshadow colors for this, I checked some, and they were familiar). Also, the lipsticks were eh… none popped out at me as a must-have.
Sorry for being a Debbie-Downer! Can’t wait for the next MAC release!

I don’t think they are – I would just save up and buy one brush at a time in full-size.
I wasn’t sure if i would like the feel of the dazzle l/s, but I got a preview of them today and I had to rush home to make a list so I don’t overdo it. The feel great and have fantastic sparkle! My wallet hates me.
