MAC Cosmetics Naked Honey Collection
Bees do it… now MAC does it! Honey that is! As ancient and exotic as Kohl, great beauties have long revered the natural restorative powers of the Golden Elixir.
Following the example of their fabled Queen, Cleopatra, Egyptians bathed in honey and milk. Queen Anne of England used it to silken her hair; from the Ancient Greeks to the Roman Empire, honey has never lost its regal, ever-amber lustre. We love the luxury of its sensual essence…but we also know that it’s a highly efficient and wholesome humectant and healer. Introducing our limited edition Naked Honey collection – three aspects of golden warmth and sun-made sweetness for the body, layered with two decidedly different honeycomb-derived fragrances – celebrating the secret lives of Queen Bees. Complementary shades of High-Light Powder, Eye Shadow and Lipglass are all the buzz for summer.
Lipglass ($14.00 U.S. / $16.50 CDN)
- She’s a Star Light neutral gold
- Queen Bee Mid-tone apricot with multi-dimensional pearl
- Buzz Dark copper brown with multi-dimensional pearl
Eyeshadow ($14.50 U.S. / $17.00 CDN)
- Crème de Miel Frosty light yellow gold
- Pollinator Mid-tone warm reddened peach with pearl
- Buckwheat Dark copper brown with multi-dimensional pearl
High-Light Powder ($24.50 U.S. / $29.50 CDN)
A high-light powder specially created for the Naked Honey collection. It features an embossed honeycomb pattern — super-fine, impeccably pearlized. It creates soft high lights on cheek, brow, shoulders — anywhere on the body.
- Honey Light A light peachy gold with shimmer
- Golden Nectar Muted golden tan with gold shimmer
Naked Honey Skin Salve ($18.50 U.S. / $22.50 CDN)
Formulated from honey, organic beeswax, sunflower oil, and other natural ingredients, this rich honey-scented and flavoured salve instantly moisturizers and helps recondition dry skin. Multi-purpose. Use everywhere.
Naked Honey Hand and Body Cream ($22.50 U.S. / $27.00 CDN)
A sensuous cream made form bio-converted honey, shea butter, and vitamins C and E derivatives. Absorbs quickly for skin-softening moisture. Conditions, nourishes, protects. Use on all areas where ultra-moisture is called for.
Naked Honey Body Wash ($19.50 U.S. / $23.50 CDN)
Formulated from bio-converted honey, this body wash cleanses the skin while providing the soothing and moisturizing benefits of lavender, narcissus, jasmine flower, and blue agave extracts. Provides a sensual, calming, cleansing experience.
Creations: Naked Honey ($22.50 U.S. / $28.50 CDN)
An aromatic journey that traces honey’s fragrant heart back to summer’s sweetest blooms. Energy starts to buzz, spirits soar, light floral and woodsy notes float toward an electric finale. Sweet and sexy all the way.
Creations: Africanimal ($22.50 U.S. / $28.50 CDN)
A scent that starts with a honey-ness that’s seductive and given its dash of pepper, not without spice. Add a dark kiss of bergamot and wood, an aromatic orgy breaks out to create a scent that’s all honey but far from sweet.
Available: June 11th, 2009 in North America. July 2009 international.

OOOOOOO!!! I like the design! I can’t wait to see the products! :) (Sorry a lil too hyper today)
Monday, May 18, 2009
Wow! Now I have the incentive to hold back from Style Warrior and wait for Naked Honey instead.
Monday, May 18, 2009
Meeee too! I’m all over it!
Wednesday, May 20, 2009
I would not hold back from Style Warriors. It is such a pretty collection and the packaging is very nice. I already picked up a few things and going back for more lipglass!!
Monday, May 18, 2009
I love the highlighting powder and the peach lipglass. Will check it out eventually. :)
Monday, May 18, 2009
The Naked Honey perfume will be the only thing I’m gonna get…
Monday, May 18, 2009
the perfume sound exciting i’d have to smell it… but i fear falling in love with a limited edition fragrance because once the bottle (which at MAC is not very generous) is gone its GONE :(
Tuesday, May 19, 2009
but that makes it all the sweeter *excuse the pun* :P haha but yea i know what you mean….
Monday, May 18, 2009
I’m excited for the highlights! :)
Monday, May 18, 2009
I’m going to be sooooo broke this summer!! Gorgeous–but, broke!! :$
Monday, May 18, 2009
This collection looks perfect for summer! Love the warm tones. I don’t usually buy high-end body lotions or shower products but I’m very tempted!
Monday, May 18, 2009
I’m so excited about this collection…… mmm I LOVE honey!
Monday, May 18, 2009

Monday, May 18, 2009
Thank you for reminding me why I’m skipping Style Warrior. :)
Monday, May 18, 2009
This collection is so wrong for me–anything that smells like honey completely skeeves me out. The glosses and shadows don’t excite me much but they’re pretty neutrals, I guess. I’m glad, this looks like one I can skip!
Monday, May 18, 2009
The only thing tempting me here are the highlight powders. It’s a good things since I thought I wouldn’t like anything from Style Warrior…but I ended up liking a TON!! Hopefully the same doesn’t happen with this collection.
Monday, May 18, 2009
Wow, wayyyy more excited for Naked Honey than Style Warriors. I may actually get my first MAC lipglass. The apricot-y one in the middle is so pretty and so are the highlighting powders! Also, pretty excited to try out that honey salve. :D :D :D
Monday, May 18, 2009
I am super duper excited about this collection but not so much for the make-up…I LOVE LOVE LOVE the scent of honey and cant wait to check out the perfumes and body products :) Yippeeeee!!!
Monday, May 18, 2009
I need all of these. It will be hard to hold back for sure!
Monday, May 18, 2009
Liking the peachy lipglass (in the middle) and the powders. That’s it, though. I am still liking Style Warriors more! I am glad that both are more my coloring, though. :)
Monday, May 18, 2009
I think I’m going to like this collection :)
Monday, May 18, 2009
This looks awesome! Love the neutrals.
Monday, May 18, 2009
the highlight powders are tempting… wonder how they will compare to MSF. Christine do you know the size of the salve? They are usually in tiny tins (sort of like tiger balm and lush’s perfumes)… is this the same concept?
Monday, May 18, 2009
Oh help me.
Monday, May 18, 2009
This is one collection i plan to spend on!
Monday, May 18, 2009
I like this collection. It’s very neutral. That I love. Now I need a job! lol
Monday, May 18, 2009
WANT.
Monday, May 18, 2009
Glad to see I’m not the only one dying over this collection. GIMME.
Monday, May 18, 2009
I NEED SWATCHES!!!! SWATCHES!!! SWATCHES!! I’M SO EXCITED FOR THIS COLLECTION. WISH I HAD MORE MONEY. :D
Monday, May 18, 2009
I want the lipglasses
Monday, May 18, 2009
I wonder how close Pollinator is to the peach color in the Rose Romance quad? They look like they’d be similar.
I HAVE to get the Africanimals perfume – that’s the only thing that is really calling to me, thank GOODNESS (after Rose Romance, I don’t need another entire collection to fall in love with).
Monday, May 18, 2009
i think i’ll only be getting the salve from this one
Monday, May 18, 2009
I’m surprised how excited I am about this; I think I want one of the highlights and all the shadows!
Monday, May 18, 2009
Can’t wait for the skin salve :D
Monday, May 18, 2009
I’m so excited about this one, more than for style warriors! i want the 3 e/s, the two lighter l/g, the highlighter and the salve for shore ;)i’m going to be one poor honey ;)
Tuesday, May 19, 2009
I like the lipglasses, and the perfume and maybe the body wash sounds good too but that’s about it.
Tuesday, May 19, 2009
hrmmm this collection looks alright, the only thing I’m up to checking out in person is the highlight powders and possibly the perfumes ;)
Tuesday, May 19, 2009
I’m going to be all over the lipglasses like a bee over honey ha ha ha sorry that is a bad joke right?
Tuesday, May 19, 2009
I can’t wait to smell the perfumes! And I want the highlight powders!!
Tuesday, May 19, 2009
Oooh I like this!
Tuesday, May 19, 2009
To me, it seems wasteful to use honey on cosmetics when there’s been a honeybee crisis in N. America the last few years.
Tuesday, May 19, 2009
The shadows look pretty.
Tuesday, May 19, 2009
It doesn’t look like it’s for me. But you never know.
Tuesday, May 19, 2009
I really like pollinator and buckwheat! I hope they aren’t sheer.
Tuesday, May 19, 2009
I was going to get some of the gold colors from Style Warrior, but now I think I’ll wait for this collection!
Tuesday, May 19, 2009
Boring….
Just want pics from the colour craft collection
MAC Collections this year have been So Bad, i can’t believe it
there’s nothin’ interesting in this collection
Tuesday, May 19, 2009
Naked Honey Skin Salve seems interesting, and so does the High-Light Powder in Honey Light. But apart from that, everything else is crap…
Tuesday, May 19, 2009
;_; Now I need to rule out what i will be buying from style warriors in order to save for this!
Tuesday, May 19, 2009
Definitely getting all the eyeshadows and all the lipglasses. :D I’m really loving honey products right now (Honey I Washed The Kids, heeey) … but! I don’t think I want the perfume.
Tuesday, May 19, 2009
19.50 for a 3.4Fl oz body wash….?
Too expensive… for me of course.Because I kinow here in France, they will be sold as 25$ certainly! :(
