MAC Cosmetics – Matte2 Swatches

Date: September 20, 2007 - Posted in: By MAC Cosmetics, MAC Cosmetics, Product Photos/Swatches

Here are the Matte2 swatches for you! These were out at my local MAC store, so for those who have heard it was pushed back – my best advice is call your local counter/store to check (that’s what I did). My store had Plushlash and all the new lashes available, too.

They are permanent, which means they also come in pan form, not just pot. :)

I love this collection…I used to only wear Matte colors and these are terrific…
I tried Tete-a-tint with flourishing in the crease..Also with Shimmerment shade stick on the bottom lash line…That makes any eye pop!!!

Based on your description, Tete-A-Tint sounds similar to Soft Brown from the permanent collection. What do you think?

I don’t think they’re really that close, as Tete-a-tint has more pink in it.

Hi Christine, if they come in pan form, are they cheaper, I’ve never bought any MAC in pan form before. I thought that only MA’s can get them in pan form. Can you also buy the blushes in pan form, too? And if so, how much cheaper are the blushes and eyeshadows and how about the actual pans?

Thanks in advance… sorry for all the long questions, I live in England now and I have to order all my MAC online, thank God they ship APO (my husbands in the USAF) anyhow, there are plenty of MAC stores here but because we earn $ and not pounds, we have to pay 2x’s as much here! it’s so sad.

Hi Nicole! They are a little cheaper – $10.50 for a pan, and you need either a quad or a 15-pan palette to hold your pan shadows.

Blushes are sold in pans at $16.50, I think, but those are only available from PRO stores.
