M•A•C fans are to vote for their favorite shades starting March 12 on Facebook. 18 popular lipsticks, lipglasses and eye shadows have been selected from past collections; the three shades with the most votes from each category will come back as an online exclusive, limited edition collection. Voting opens to all Facebook fans March 12 -30. The collection will be available online in North America in August and internationally Fall 2012.

I would have loved it MAC brought back items from their old collections. Like Force lipstick from their Venus collection. CYY was just here. If it’s going to be a “bring back” collection then lets bring back from collections going back from 1998 – 2008 or so. Seriously Mac. Doesn’t mean I’m not going to vote. Cult of Cherry lipglass, Shitaki lipstick and Jete eyeshadow will get my votes.
Why can’t mac bring back any glitters, pigments, brushes, or gift sets in this collection? I would love to see them bring back the lipmix compact, coco beach pigment, and black and gray glitter.

the coolest thing about this would be if they brought them all back in their special LE packaging
I love this. Finally a brand is listening to the ones who make it all possible — US! I missed out on CYY and would love to get that baby in my hands. I could do without the lipglass but would love to try either bait or icescape. Might I add that while looking for swatches of icescape online a very young Temptalia popped up on my screen! You looked so young, gorgeous and tan, Christine! Still gorgeous of course. Haha
Also, I LOVE SOLAR WHITE. It shall be mine!! ::fingers crossed:: I’m curious if MAC will have a purchase limit and will be smart enough to make a ton of product so we don’t all lose our minds.
Time to start saving up to hoard every tube of 3N & Candy Yum Yum that I can!! Wow what a great thing to find out on a Monday morning!!
I would vote for firespot, lavendar whip, port red and the MAC for playboy collection (just because I am a collector)

And only 3 “winner” items per category? And only available online?
I suggested to MAC a Blast from the Past Collection and they responded that they had this ‘contest’. I think my idea is better. ‘Blast from the Past’ could be a sort of permanent collection that changes every season to give a chance at acquire very coveted items.
I’m not from the US and in my country MAC does not sale online. This is lame
*sigh* the two lippes I want the most are the bottom 2 in the votes (shitake and rocker)

I agree with U…there’s a lot of places that are not selling this online…it’s sucks…that’s why I have to ask a favor to a friend who live in USA just to get the lipsticks :/
