MAC All’s Good Beauty Powder Blush

MAC All Ages, All Races, All Sexes Collection: Beauty Powder Blushes Reviews, Photos, Swatches

The beauty powder blushes are interesting, if only because neither shade seems like a blush at first glance. I think some might find these work for contouring, others for blushing/bronzing. I liked Personal Style the most, because I could see it being just a hint of definition on cheeks when eyes/lips are bold.

Beauty Powder Blushes ($18.50 U.S. / $22.00 CDN)

  • All’s Good is a dirty brown with just a smidgen of pink in it. It has very, very little shimmer — like barely there shimmer. I think this might be nicer on deeper skin tones, but I keep thinking it’s just going to look dirty on me. The texture is very smooth, and the color itself is pigmented.
  • Personal Style is a neutral-to-cool fleshy beige with no real shimmer (the powder looks like it has some, but I couldn’t detect any in the swatch). This looked like something you might even be able to contour with if you have lighter skin.

I think Personal Style would look good on me.

Looks like I might have found myself a contour!! At last!

personal style, wow me want!

Hmmm. Personal style did a kinda pinky irridescent thing on me. It's very pretty! I expected to like All's Good, but it was just meh/dupable for me. NC30 for reference.

i've had several beauty powders and they don't do much for me.

I agree that the blushes/beauty powders don't look like blushes at all. They seem more like items for highlighting and contouring.

Christine, would you consider doing cheek product swatches ON your cheeks? Like you do for lip products - photographing them on your lips? Just curious! I think it would give a better idea how it looks on the face with skin showing through.

I've thought about it, but it's not really practical to do it back-to-back - it's something that would take days to do, just because it requires a different look/product otherwise, it's just an unfair representation on the product. I'd also say that since these stain, I don't know if I could do them back-to-back just from that. (I swatched these at the very, very end!) I'm definitely planning to do looks over the next week, incorporating these, so that's how I planned to show them in action.

Christine? I am about the same skintone on you, have you worn personal style yet, does it show up well on you?

Haven't worn it yet -- my underarm is NC20 for reference.

I really like the look of Personal Style. The fact that it is a BPB is a bonus.

I bought All's Good. I really like this powder blush and it's my first powder blush from MAC.

I initially wanted Personal Style until my favorite MAC artist applied it on me - it didn't show up on my skin (NC42) All's Good looked better and of course it came home with me. I do love it but the search continues for a nice neutral color that isn't too pink or plum or bronze that I can use when I'm doing a smokey navy or gunmetal eye.

Hmm don't know if All's Good bpb will look good on my NC40/NC42 skin tone?

these look very nice...it's nice that they're not shimmery!

Yeah, I think Personal Style could be good for people who are upset by Strada (popular contouring shade) being discontinued. I compared the two and Personal Style is lighter and more peachy/tan warm than Strada. Like you said, it will definitely work as a contour shade for lighter skin tones, or an all over blush for a light look :)

I think that Personal Style looks a little like The perfect cheek which is one of my favorite blushes =)

It is very similar to Perfect Cheek. I would say that the difference between the two is that Personal Style is a tad warmer with peachy tones to it. It's got a really nice feel and finish to it, since it's a beauty powder.

I like Personal Style but I don't think I will get it... I can't see myself using this as an actual blush.

All's good, come to Mama. There goes my resolution to buy fewer blushes! *sighs*

ROFL! Thx for the giggle. "Come to Mama."
