    I miss Burberry Beauty …

    • Gina

What do you mean by that? The line wasn’t discontinued, they just didn’t come out with many new products this year :)

  2. Leigh

    I wasn’t able to vote :(
I clicked the link and nothing showed up on the page so I hit refresh and then it said I had already completed the survey.

  3. Marina

Voted! So excited! This is the first year I’ve followed your blog (started following around March) so this is the first time I’ve participated in this!

  4. Amanda

Did this survey glitch for anyone else too? First the page wouldn’t load all the way and when I hit “refresh” I was told I’d already completed the survey…any chance I can get another shot? :)

for the ones i chose ‘other’ as an option:
    – best facial wash: mario badescu enzyme cleansing gel.
    – best moisturizer: biotherm aquasource skin perfection.
    – best evening moisturizer: biotherm aquasource non-stop

thanks for the beauty choice award for this year, temptalia :)

  6. The survey isn’t working for me either, and I’m sure that nobody else on the same IP has filled it out. :( It isn’t loading properly. Is it because I’m using a MAC?
I get way too excited about these new year ‘best of beauty’ thingies… haha

I tagged some questions with other.

Here are few of my other “best of 2011″.

    Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation

    Best Brand of 2011
Bobbi Brown-BB had huge year with some great products with all of her collections this year. The High Shimmer lipglosses, increasing the size of the glosses, the BB correctors and the concealer kits.

Honorable mention for brand of the year – Estee Lauder
The Cyber eyes and the pure color gelee collection is fabulous.

Powder eye shadow product of 2011
Urban Decay’s 15th anniversary palette was an instant classic from the moment it was released. Its iconic and in my opinion, it’s even better than Naked palette.

    • AnGeLwInGz

I was thinking the exact same thing about the UD 15th. I don’t know how that didn’t get any nominations but a repeat Naked palette did.

      • It didn’t make the short list – it doesn’t mean that there weren’t nominations, it just means it didn’t get enough nominations to make it into the top 10.

FYI, guys, you can opt out of certain questions. For example, I don’t use powder foundation, had no opinion on the ‘contestants,’ and so I didn’t vote. If I had voted, it would have been because of company loyalty instead of for an actual product. I clicked “Other” when asked about a product that I *do* use, but if I had specific winners in my mind.

  9. Crystal

    My “others”

    Betty Lou-MANizee for bronzer

Elf cleansing cloths for makeup remover

  10. AnGeLwInGz

Boy, do I feel stupid. I did such a good job of cutting down on my cosmetics purchases this year that I didn’t have an answer to most of the questions LOL!

Hi, this was the first time I took the time to fill out one of your surveys. I love your website and being a cosmetic junkie, read and know alot about the brands, skin conditions, etc. You are so thorough and I commend you for this.
    All the best 2 U,

  12. Donna

I was able to vote, but I wish we could write in the name of the product when we choose “other”.

    • Hi Donna,

We already took nominations, which enabled everyone to list their exact favorites. Those favorites didn’t make the short lists, so we only want people to have the option to vote other rather than feeling compelled to vote for the best of the list. We’re not looking to compile write-ins, since we already did that in the beginning.
