Zoya Wicked Collection Review, Photos, Swatches
Nail Lacquers:: Edyta, Julieanne, Cheryl
Oh… So… Wicked
Zoya Wicked Collection ($36.00 for all 6, or $7 each) is one of two fall collections from Zoya. It contains six shades:
Edyta (complex mixture of gold, olive, blue-green, and smoky grey with a sparkling metallic finish), Julieanne (unique purple sparkles with gold, peach, and yellow-green duochrome in a dark blue-purple base), Cheryl (smoky brown base completely packed with metallic copper, gold, and mahogany metallic microglitter), Karina (cool medium crimson red with swirls of pink, gold, and red foil metallic glitter), Carrie Ann (light warm scarlet red with copper, gold and pink-red foil metallic glitter), Kym (antique copper base with gold, copper, and pink reflective metallic sparkles).
- Edyta is a tarnished, deep green with gold and green micro-shimmer. At first glance, it seems similar to Nubar Verde, but the latter is significantly greener–much more forest green. Just two coats.
- Julieanne is a deep violet purple with blue undertones and gold and glowing violet shimmer flecks. Two coats.
- Cheryl is a darkened chocolate brown base with warmer, amber and copper shimmer. It looks very rich and luxe. Two coats.
- Karina is a ruby red with flecks of scarlet and ruby shimmer–more blue-based. Two coats.
- Carrie Ann is a brightened cherry red with fiery red shimmer–more orange-based. Two coats.
- Kym is a pinked/mauvey brown with gold and bronze shimmer. Almost metallic. Two coats.
The formula is just as you’d expect from Zoya: smooth, nicely pigmented, and dries down beautifully. The colors are very true-to-bottle, and I had no issues with application whatsoever.

- Product: 29/30
- Value: 8/10
- Ease of Use: 4/5
- Packaging: 4/5
RECOMMENDATION: Excellent pigmentation for all six shades, easy to apply, and none needed more than two coats for a smooth, opaque finish. If you see a color you like, I think you’ll be happy with it.

I want them all *-*
is this aka the dancing with the stars collection? All the names are female dancers from the show! I don’t know if that was on purpose or not but it seems too coincidental for it NOT to be.
I’m so glad it’s not just me who thought that! Edyta? Kym? Carrie Ann?
But why is it called “Wicked”? Are they not fans of DWTS? 🙂
Gorgeous colors.
Julieanne must be my favourite. Love it!
They named the collection after Dancing with the Stars???
Ah Zoya my love we meet again. kekeke
Wow!!! After you’ve been putting up Zoya ALL of the polishes are on my wishlist. Is there a store you can purchase it at, rather than online?
I only buy online myself – haven’t seen Zoya in store, but I don’t go to supply stores usually!
ahhhh Karina has my Name! i need it
Well it is a BEAUTIFUL color as well, that’s so cool to have a nail polish with your name 😀
Am I nuts, or are all of these named after the ladies from Dancing With The Stars?
Well with names like Carrie Ann, Kym, (spelt with a y instead of an i) and Edyta, which aren’t so common, it seems like they did name it after DWTS
Pretty colors, and I just realized they are all names of people on Dancing With The Stars.
dwts!
::Drool:: In love with Edyta, Julieanne, and Cheryl! These will be very fun for Fall 😀
so weird… why are these all names of people on dancing with the stars!?
are these all named for dancing with the stars characterS? ahh as much as i am unimpressed with karina on the show, i sure do love her on nails!
I’m not sure – it doesn’t say so on the website!
They are all pretty, but I think I like Julieanne the most=)
Reminds me of the n/ls that will come out with the MAC Venomous Villains collection.
Wicked.. and villains.. There’s a theme here.. apparently we are supposed to be bad this fall.
I am really loving Edyta – never thought I would really be attracted to a color like this, so I am pleasantly surprised. 🙂 Thanks for sharing these swatches because all of them are beautiful!
Hi Christine is Edyta a dupe for Nubar Verde?? Thanks!!
Hi Lia,
Did you check out the description for Edyta? I talked about how it compares to Nubar’s Verde.
Oh sorry never mind, I just read the review. Read first then ask a question!
No prob, Lia!
Christine, would you say there’s one or two must-haves from this collection?
thanks!
I like Edyta and Julieanne!
I got Edyta when I was in Toronto this weekend but now I feel like I need more of them. Zoya is not easily available in Canada
Agreed I can’t find Zoya in the KW area. T-T I would like to get Edyta, Julieanne and maybe Cheryl. Shadowy Lady did you get them from the TBBS?
Karina reminds me of the OPI Muchness shade from Alice in Wonderland lunch.
I’ve seen Zoya in Sally Beauty and also Trade Secrets.
You can find Zoya at spaboutique.ca online, if it’s not sold locally. 🙂
I absolutely NEED cheryl. How lovely!
I absolutely love this collection (although I’m not sure I would need ALL of the reds). Julieanne is my favorite out of these. Very nice.
Awesome. I love them all. I especially love when nail polish is pigmented and doesn’t take a million coats. I totally want these.
The first set of colors is an exact copy of the MAC venemous villians polishes for maleficent.
Karina is great!
Christine, how was removal on these? I love them (I probably would only get one of the reds, but I’m DROOLING over the first three), but I worry about these sparkly polishes being a pain to take off because I change my manis almost daily.
Hey BeckBeck,
I didn’t have any issues. These felt and acted more like your average shimmer polish in removal – definitely not the more painstaking process of true glitter polishes.
Christine, do you have a certain nail polish remover that you recommend? I’m currently on the market for one!
Zoya Remove+!!!
I would have no idea how to say it but Edyta looks amazing. Julieanne looks pretty nice too
Loving Julianne! I’ve never tried Zoya nail polishes — do you find this formula to be really gritty? I’m always wary of glittery shades.
Nope, not gritty!
these names are all from dancing with stars!!
Edyta is way prettier than Nubar’s Verde,at least from your swatches. Edyta and Cheryl are my two choices from this group. The others are just bleh, exception for the purple one, because I love purple.
I love the product, but I just hat hate the packaging! 😛
Are the Zoya seasonal collections limited edition?
I believe so! I’m not 100% positive.
I love the duochrome in that top shade, and the sparkle; glitzy!
