YSL Luminous Pink (57) Rouge Pur Couture SPF15 Lipstick ($38.00 for 0.13 oz.) is a vivid, coral-red with warm undertones and cooler, fuchsia pink shimmer throughout. It had nearly opaque pigmentation in a single stroke, which delivered even coverage and never dragged or tugged on my lips during application.
The lipstick had a smooth, lightly emollient consistency that was thin, lightweight, and comfortable to wear. It stayed on nicely for five and a half hours, left a stain behind, and felt moisturizing over time.

The formula is supposed to have "rich color with intense hydration ... in just one stroke." The lipstick has moderate slip--some shades are fairly emollient and can feel slippery during wear, while many are creamy but adhere well enough.
I've found that more mid-tone and deeper shades have better applications with smoother, more forgiving color that was semi-opaque or higher in coverage. Some of the lighter and the very deepest shades were more prone to settling into lip lines or yielding more medium to semi-opaque coverage.
The wear ranged from four to six hours on average. I found the formula was usually on the hydrating side. There was a sweet, floral scent with a very subtle taste, though I felt like it sometimes gave me a taste and other times, I didn't notice anything.

YSL Melon d’Or (59) Rouge Pur Couture SPF15 Lipstick ($38.00 for 0.13 oz.) is a light-medium pink base that was barely warm-toned paired with warmer, peachy-gold shimmer that gave it more of a frosted finish. The shimmer was prone to separating along my lip lines and clumping together, so the finish was uneven and not nearly as smoothing as other shades in the range (which often had a lot less shimmer).
The texture felt smooth, lightweight, and had some slip but wasn’t as emollient as most shades in the range. It lasted for four hours and felt lightly hydrating while worn.

YSL Bois de Rose (66) Rouge Pur Couture SPF15 Lipstick ($38.00 for 0.13 oz.) is a muted, deep rosy mauve with warm undertones and a cream finish. The lipstick had rich pigmentation in a single layer, which applied evenly and comfortably across my lips without dragging.
The consistency was smooth, lightly creamy but not overly slippery during wear (despite a lot of shine!), and was hydrating while worn. There was a smidgen of product that settled into my deeper lip lines in the close-up photo but wasn’t enough to be noticeable in person. This shade wore well for four and a half hours and felt moisturizing while worn.

Bois de rose has the kind of muted quality I love in a lipstick
Dayum; as soon as we don’t need masks anymore, I am so going to get myself Luminous Pink and Bois de Rose! Those two speak to me loud and clear.
If they had dialed down the shimmer in Melon d’Or it would have likely been a great performing, beautiful lipstick. 🙁

Bois de Rose is lovely, I checked all the dupes and have nothing like it, so it’s a possible buy later on. I’m disappointed that Melon d’Or didn’t perform nicely, I love how luminous it is. I think I have Fusion Pink , if not I’ll probably get it instead of the very summery beauty that is Luminous Pink.
Something like Melon Dor used to be my go to color… Looking back… I don’t understand why I like it. It looks super dated now… meanwhile Bois de Rose is so divine!!!
