Work-Safe Makeup: Quick & Easy Neutrals

Work-Safe Makeup:  Quick Neutrals

Here’s a super simple, quick, easy, work-safe, everyday… yada yada kind of look. It’s quick & dirty but always looks classic. You can change-up the lip to lighten or amplify the look, too 🙂

You will need the following…

For eyes, start by applying Sand Shimmer as your eyeshadow base all over the eye area with the 249. Darken the outer third of the lid with Prepped for Glamour eyeshadow with the 239, gently brushing it into the lower crease. Bring everything together by applying Black Moon eyeliner on the lower lash line and Unicorno eyeliner lightly below. Finish by sweeping lashes with Plushlash mascara.

For cheeks, apply Blonde Halee bronzer to the apples of the cheeks and sweep upwards towards the temple with the 116.

For lips, apply Ebene lipgloss for a complementing lip.

This is so pretty! I’ve been doing a variation close to this nearly every day I have class, just with the Benefit cream shadow in RSVP. 🙂

And I love your headband!

very nice!
thought the terracotta lipcolour brings out a hint of green in the eyeshadows that’s not really there (or maybe less noticeable) in the eye photos.
also — i like your hair in these pics…it looks very glossy black!

So, so pretty! It doesn’t matter how simple a look is, you always look gorgeous!
I kind of want the gloss to be more red, though that caramelly brown shade does look beautiful with your skin… I have bronzer on as blush today too – trying to hold onto that last little bit of tan I have from summer!

This is a great work-wearable look. I love it! I am always trying to figure out e/s colors/looks that are not too over-the-top for work and at the same time not boring 🙂
Thank you!

That’s a beautiful look on you, especially the lip color. Do you get any fallout from the glitter liner when you wear it for a long time?

I think this is a really pretty look but WAY over the top for work. The colors are a bit too strong and the shimmer is a little too much. Nice work though!

I can see where You’re coming from – when I look at the close-up shots. But from the far, like from a meter distance (or even more), I’d also wear this look to the office any time. 🙂
True, I don’t work at let’s say a bank.

Christine, love the look, love the lip, love the bronzer – and your hair does look extra pretty and shiny in these shots. Oh, and I especially love the cute flirty expression of the first face shot. 🙂 These pictures totally make me want to hug You, lol. 🙂

Very pretty. I remember your posts on eyeshadowsluts. You had slightly thinner brows a couple of years ago I like them a lot more than your current brows. They seem too harsh and make your features like your pretty eyes not stand out as much.

I have to admit, I prefer your neutral looks over the other ones. For example, this one is so fresh, so sophisticated and so beautiful, I really like it.
