This would be my first real highlighting and contouring palette, so I’d probably spend like a week straight experimenting with it before figuring out what works best 🙂

First, I would use the palette as shadows.
I’ll take the light contour shade as a crease colour and the pink highlight as my lid color. Then, I’ll take the middle contour shade on my third lid and deepen the outer V with the darkest shade. I’ll run the middle and dark shade along my lower lash line. I’ll use the yellow highlight shade as my eyebrow highlight and as an inner eyes highlight.

Later, I would use the lightest shade for contouring and deepen it up a bit with the middle shade, just where my cheek bones are.

I’d wear this product on different occasions using different techniques- I’d use lighter shades for everyday contouring to make my face appear slimmer and would play up the intensity for a more dramatic look. Would be absolutely grateful to win this palette!

Because I’m quite a pale person, I would take the shade Sombre to contour my cheekbones. I feel like that’s a really nice shade that I could also work into the crease of my eyes, I’m not sure I’d be able to contour with the other two shades, but those could also double as eyeshadows then!

As for the highlighting shades, I would use Lucid to highlight my cheekbones, browbone and some other areas of my face. And finally, I could use Levitation as my setting powder! I feel like this would be a nice, multifunctional palette that I couldl really get a lot of use out of! 🙂

I’d definitely learn to contour on the off chance I win this 😉 the darkest contour plus a brilliant highlight for a dramatic evening look, paired with a very bright lip and a simple eye look (eyeliner and intense mascara).

I’m so into sculpting right now!!!! I hope I win, I have never tried anything by Kat Von D thanks for doing the competition 🙂

I’d wear the lightest shade as a bronzer all over the face mainly in the contour regions. Then I’d take the darkest contour shade and contour my cheeks, forehead, neck/jawline, nose and underlip. I’d take a bit of one of the highlight shades after that and apply it to the tops of my cheekbones and down the center of my face.

Always interested by contour palettes! I’d definitely use the last column the most for a dramatic look, and the middle for a subtle one. The first column wouldn’t show on my skin, but the highlighter would still be pretty. 🙂

I’m pale and cool and so most contouring powders are too orange, too warm, too dark. But the bottom left shade in this palette looks like it would work nicely as a contour and the darker and lighter shades seem like they would work for a really nice, natural eye look, just giving a bit of definition.

I might just wear this as the ultimate allover “nude” face, with maybe some extra interest around the eyes, like a light blue waterline and a smoky, smudgy liner and heavy lashes. These colors were made for my skin tone.

I would use the Darker Shades to Contour and possibly as eyeshadow and the light colors to highlight my face and set concealer or foundation.

I’m so curious about this palette! I’m using bronzer to shape my face every day so I would probably use this the same way as now. Thank you for another amazing giveaway Christine!

I don’t own any contour palettes, or any contour products yet! I have heard so many great things about this palette and think it would work well for my medium skin tone. Ive been using bronzer products that are more orange tone (and shimmery) than grey for the past year, so i think having this palette would help me build up my skill level.

I would use the bottom middle shade to carve out the planes of my face, the banana shade under my eyes and the left highlighter on my cheekbones and through the middle of my face!

Looks fabulous. I don’t usually contour but I’ve started recently and am really happy with the results. This palette would be prefect for slimming down my face and nose and help with my hooded lids also

I would use the highlighter colors in the traditions highlight areas, and the darker colors would work better as bronzer colors for me since they’re on the warmer side.

I have medium-tan olive skin so I would use this palette to create shadows and dimension to my face. I think that guiding from your review and swatches that I’d be able to use every color for specific purposes. I will also use the shadows on my eyes.

I don’t own any contour palettes, and this is actually on my list to purchase so I would love to win this! Since I am new to highlighting and contouring, I would definitely use the guide it comes with to help me get better.

Fall and winter is coming to the southern hemisphere, so I think it’s a perfect palette for winter! I’d definetely use it a lot on the following months

I’ve heard these are super creamy! I would love to win and wear it! Fair skinned ladies have such trouble finding a good contour. here is to hoping it works for us light skin ladies.

Not only would I use the palette on myself, but also would love to use it on friends and family who are always looking for the perfect contoured cheek!

I’ve…never actually tried contouring because I have fairly prominent cheekbones (or so I’ve been told?), so it would be nice to actually try it!

If the colors work for my skin. Which is always an issue…

I love the cool-toned contour shades in this palette! I’m very fair and, from your swatches, think the lightest shades would be amazing for my first experience with cream contour. I wish Kat Von D would sell the contour/highlight shades as a duo instead of a 6 pan palette!

I feel like most of the other cream contour palettes coming out right now are too orange or brown without enough ash/coolness. So many beautiful cream contour palettes with bad complementation for fair skinned girls… It’s a struggle!

Bottom left shade under cheekbones, bottom right shade more precisely in my cheek hollows, middle top shade as highlight on top of cheekbones and down nose!

I’d experiment and figure out how to contour. I’ve only read how-tos and watched tutorials, but it would be nice to actually *try*.

I would finally teach myself how to properly contour with the use of this palette paired with Kat Von D’s youtube channel. I’m particularly interested in contouring my nose.

Since I don’t own any contour palette this one would be my go to palette for highlighting and contouring and because it has light, medium and dark shades I could share it with my mom since she has darker skin (:

I think I’d go for a pretty soft smokey brown eye using just the colors from this palette and then using the same shades to highlight and contour to get a monochromatic look and pairing it with a bright lip.

I’ve never had a contouring palette so there will be experimenting and I’m sure I’ll also use some of the shades as eyeshadows!

I haven’t ever done much contouring..but I love those highlighting shades! I’d probably start by using those to set my under eye concealer! 🙂

I would use it to contour! There are so many contour palettes coming out but many of them have a lot of warm shades in them!! Which basically defeats the purpose when you are going to be using them to contour!
So this one is super perfect to carve and sculpt the face 🙂

I’ve recently been getting into contouring big time, but I haven’t found the perfect shade for me, sooo since this palette has been highly raved about I’m suuuper interested in trying it out!

I would experiment with the contouring shades and highlighting shades for setting concealer, highlighting, contouring, and possibly see if they would work as an eyeshadow?!?

I would love to win this palette! I’ve been drooling over it for months and it is just calling to me. I’ve been diving head first into makeup and this would be a great addition.

I’ve never tried any of Kat Von D’s products but would absolutely love to!! I would use the palette for highlighting, contouring and as eye shadows. I like to use highlighters with eye shadows, it adds an extra dimension to me.

I would use the 2 darker shades to contour and the bronzer to warm up the skin, then highlight with the 3 lighter shades. Of course then I would use them all on my eyes too in virtually the same way:)

Since I’m of a darker complexion I woul use the darker shade to contour under my cheek bones, temples, and nose. I would use the lighter shades to highlight as well as correct.

Goodness, I’ve been lusting after some Kat Von D stuff for a while, this would be so fun! I could see doing eyes and cheeks with this in a lot of ways, and then topping off with a vibrant lip.

I’d use this palette for date night! Me and my girlfriend don’t get to go out to much so I like to get fancy when we do. The range of shades would also be helpful for doing my friend’s makeup!

I haven’t experimented much with contouring so I would use the middle darkest shade as a cheek counter, and the lightest shade on my cheekbones, nose, chin.

I’m light completed so would probably use the lightest shades most of all. But I might be able to get some eye looks from the darker shades. I would sure like to try!

Honestly, my contouring skills are not the best. I imagine I’d just experiment a lot with all the colors! Sombre would probably be my most used for every day contouring of the cheeks.

I’m pale with neutral/warm-ish combo skin and constant redness/broken out areas – that’s how I discovered Kat Von D’s foundations to begin with! (I use 44+46) I love the coverage + how light yet colour-balanced the shades are in the line – however because of my heavier foundation routine I lose the natural definition in my face so I’m getting very interested in contouring to bring it back (and to make me look better/slimmer – I have good cheekbones but a fuller face, doesn’t do me any favours when it’s all one colour!)

Unfortunately I don’t really know what I’m doing, don’t really have any money to invest in the endeavor (Illamasqua’s Hollow cream pigment seems really promising, but for ~$67? Ouch! I wish they had a US distributor! Between the GBP conversion and the international shipping charges I’ve got an Illamasqua wishlist a mile long of things I’ll never be able to afford!) The one contour I do own is NYX’s Taupe HD blush, and I just bought that at Ulta with a coupon after finding out about it through your wonderful site! 🙂

Also It seems like all the domestic palettes that have been released lately look *very* warm/brown and are geared towards tan/bronzed/medium-toned people. (What do goths contour with?? Or warm-leaning pale people?? Very light does not always equal pink/cool tones! :/) This does look like it may also lean too warm/brown but I’d love to have something to experiment with regardless, I love KVD, and I’m just getting back into doing my makeup and experimenting after being injured and sick for the last few months, so it’s kind of a lot for my self-esteem too.

This is one of the prettiest contouring palettes I’ve ever seen! I’m not particularly skilled at doing contouring. But this palette has some beautiful, soft, natural shades that might actually make me be able to do some contouring in a very subtle manner.

I would learn to cream contour with this bad boy! I currently just use my milk chocolate and some eye shadows to contour, but it’d be fun to learn with a product I don’t have to shell out for. I am a makeup enthusiast who doesn’t have the budget to support the commitment 🙂

I’d love to wear this for special occasions! Especially the highlight shades to brighten my under eyes. The contouring shades I would totally use on a daily basis to warm up my complexion.

I would love to win this to figure out which shades I would need and where. I love watching videos and reading about contouring and highlighting but I’ve never actually tried it. Thanks for this great opportunity.

I’d wear it to bronze, contour and highlight. The different shades are great as I go a lot darker when I tan =) I would also use the palette as eyeshadows!

I have heard so many good things about this palette. This is probably a must have for this year, it’s been about contouring. I would wear this all summer long.

I would love to win this palette so much, i have a round chubby face so I need a good sculpting powder to contour my face so I can get a nice sculpted face

I have never done some proper countouring and highlighting! I usually use shimmers for my highlight so I want to experiment with mattes to see just how profesional I can make it look! Thanks for the giveaway

I’ve been trying out cream contour every day with my new RCMA palette and I’d love to try the Kat von D and see how it might be different!

I don’t have very many products to use underneath my eyes to set my concealer, so I’d use this for that as well as for subtle contour!

I’d use Shadowplay to contour and bronze all over, with a little of Subconscious in the hollows of my cheeks and to contour along my jaw for added definition. I’d use Shadowplay to lightly contour my nose and crease, and use Lyric to highlight down the centre of my nose and on my lids and inner corner.

I would love to win this pallet. I have never counter and this pallet does not look as intimidating for me to use the pallet and practice contouring 🙂

The middle contour is shade is calling my name. I think it’d be perfect on my fair skin. I’m most excited to try the highlight shades though, because i haven’t dabbled in highlighting yet.

It is an highlighting and contouring palette , so i would love trying out all the possible ways to contour my cheeks and find out what works best for me! 🙂

I’d love to win this palette, because I have one bronzer and that one is a little bit to dark for me.
I don’t have a contourpalette and i can’t get this one in the Netherlands 🙁 I want it so badly..

I think I would wear this palette everyday, a little contour, a little highlight and I would to a more statement contour on nights out! This product seems amazing!

I’d wear this lightly every day for my normal work day “beat” and would then crank things up a bit for date nights with my fiancé!! He loves when I do my makeup and get extra glam for him!!

I would wear the palette for contour and highlighting my face. I’ve been eyeing this palette since it came out. Looks like one of the better ones out there for this function.

I would use the darker colors to bronze my face and learn how to contour. I’m just starting to learn how to do that. And the lighter shades to highlight. I love a good highlight

I am still looking for the “right” contour shade for my skin tone! This would be great – maybe to even mix the colors to get the right shade!

I would use this palette to contour mainly my nose and highlight under the brow and cheeks 🙂 It would be so fun playing with all the colors!

I need this palette in my life! Help me out, here! LOL I’m a newbie to contouring and I do believe this palette would help me in my discovery and experimentation of this most delicate task.

I’d wear it on special occasions (birthdays, weddings, going out with the girls) because you know flash photography always washes me out. Otherwise, I’m fine with my face shape because I appreciate food and it shows lol

I don’t do a strong contour every day, but I do like to use yellow shades to help brighten up my under eye area. I think this palette would be great to set my concealer and also to add some dimension back into the face after foundation.

I have been wanting to learn how to contour like CRAZY lately. This would be perfect! I would love to use this when I go out of the weekends!

I love the look of the yellow powder for under the eyes, and I’d probably used the lightest contour to start with – not a fan of the muddy look!

I’d like to experiment with all of the shades to see what each shade suits each situation (ie. Minimal everyday look, or full face glam, etc.) I think that most of the shades will suit my skin nicely.

I haven’t had much luck with contouring/highlighting, especially in the palettes section. Being a brown girl lends many products to not cater to me, but this one looks to be promising, and easy to work with for a beginner like myself!

i’ve been really researching different brands and palettes and so far this one seems to be one of the best out there, I would love to own it and get to practice and learn how to contour better cuz right now im a total contouring newbie xD

I am very fair toned, but love a strong contour, I would start out with Sombre and work up to Subconscious! I would also try the shades out as eyeshadows!

I have fair skin and if the contouring powders are a lot on the warmer side, it automatically looks like a bad self-tan, mudy powder on my face. This contour palette seems really great for my skin tone. I swatched it at Sephora and I wanted to buy it, but my local Sephora is always out of stock of everything. It also felt a lot more blendable than the Anastasia contour kit so i’m really exited to own one and winning it would be great 🙂

I would definitely use some of the warmer darker contour shades from the palette to help breakout of the comfort zone that is nyx taupe. Also, experiment around with the yellow highlight shade as I usually stick to golden sparkly highlights.

I would love to incorporate this beautiful palette into my everyday routine. The fact that we’re getting a chance to own one as a gift is amazing!

Hi! I don’t contour. This would be a gift to my daughter in-law who does contour and highlight. She’d be so excited. Thank-you for tis fun chance!!

oh man this palette is gorgeous! would def use it for the highlight and contour. but love there is darker for dressier nights and/or when i get more tan in the summer! thanks for chance!!
