Wow i love Kat von D products, i have 2 eye liners, i love neutrals, this looks awesome, i can experiment with this for office make up, love to win.

TygerKitty Avatar

I really want to do a daytime shimmer look using the four shades in the middle… and maybe the light brown to the right! This is such a beautiful palette.

Laura Avatar

This looks like a beautiful palette! Kat Von D makes lovely eyeshadows (judging from my Saint palette). I’d love to use the warm shadows for a bronzy summer look, and the lighter ones to highlight the inner corner of my eye. Hope I win!

Arielle Avatar

I’ve heard so much buzz about this palette and would definitely use it for work because the colors are perfect work appropriate colors.

Arian Avatar

I would love to win this because I love Kat von D, not only in her make-up line but also as a writer – i read al her books & own a few of her lipsticks, my favorite is stiletto soooo gorgeous ! I think it would match great with some of the shades in this pallette!!

Kat Von D’s make up is very hard to come by here in Europe so it would be a perfect chance :))

Sarah Avatar

I’m a big fan of the orange/copper colors. I’d wear those year round, but I think they’d make a pretty dynamite fall eye look. I also like that there are some really dark browns so you can smoke it up for night time.

Lauren Avatar

The orangey color is new to me, so I would probably try that on the lid, with the top middle as a hilight in the inner corner, and brow bone. The black color as a liner. Hopefully it wont look too halloweeney!

Kathryn Avatar

I’ve had this one picture saved on my computer that I would love to try out using the palette. It’s basically orange on the lid, with some depth added to the crease. I saw the review for this palette and immediately thought of that picture!

Jennifer Avatar

I would have so many ideas for this palette!! However, one look I have in mind is for an upcoming music festival where I will be seeing my favorite artist, Kaskade. I have a matching shirt that has a warm burnt orange color scheme and it could not be more perfect!

Vanessa Caraballo Avatar

I’d rock this palette by creating a soft smokey eye, with an orange lip, light pink blush and light contouring. Can’t wait to get my hands on this great looking palette!

Thanks!
Xxxo, Vanessa

CeeCee Avatar

I would take that burnt orange shade (I think it’s called Wrath?) and softly blend it all over the lid with a fluffy brush so it’s a wash of color over the lid and slightly above the crease. Orange seems to be in this summer

Mariella Avatar

I already have this palette but would love to win a 2nd one (to give to my dear Sis in Law who is going through a really crummy divorce from a jerk she stayed married to for far too long). Anyway, I love wearing the middle shadows for a simple and easy day look that isn’t too “make up” looking. Telepathy across my lid (I love that shade) and right into the inner corner, Vanish in the crease and blending up toward my brow-bone, Disintegration just on the very outer lid and crease and Tiny Death to highlight just under my eyebrow/on the brow bone. Sephora Diving in Malaysia pencil to line and this Tarte jumbo shadow pencil in Champagne (I think that’s the name) just to brighten the tear duct/innermost corner area.

Icequeen Avatar

I would love to wear it with Neutral eye using etymology, tiny death and Jar/telapathy, vanish, with a hint of blush, and a light coral matte lip for day looks and red matte or plum matte for a night look. Going on a soft 50 look with my hair parted on a side.

Love the names 🙂

Tugce Avatar

I would wear this to work! I am teaching at a university and given thay I am only 5-6 years older than my students, grown up make up with neutral colors really helps me to establish myself as their instructor. 🙂

janna Avatar

OH! MY! GOSH!!! I have been lusting after this palette for SO long!!!! I love the orangey shade and I would make that my statement color on my first use!!! I hope I win!!!!

Etoile Avatar

How wouldn’t I wear this, LOL. I can easily make so many looks with this palette, I can literally already picture them. I love how I’d be able to wear it during the day as well as make something nice and sultry for the nighttime. And who doesn’t love neutrals? I’ve been lusting for this palette for so long, it looks so lovely!

Faiza Avatar

I would love to wear the bronze (second last frm left) under the black eye shadow (first one from right)… love to wear orange as well in summar… its a fun color
christine kindly reply that i am not on pinterest so it is necessary for the contest entry to follow u on pinterest??

Christine Avatar

Hi Faiza,

You only have to do at least one way to enter (required method is to be a member – you could just do this option and nothing else!), if you want to do more, it increases your chances/entries but it’s not required! You do not have to follow me on Pinterest to enter!

Laura Avatar

I love orange eyeshadow, especially in summer, so I could imagine either something light and shimmery or just a darker brown combined with orange 🙂

Hollie Avatar

I would wear the gold on my lid, the color to the left of it swept above and then cut the crease with the color second from the end. I would probably dust of a little of that orange color on the outside corner as well.

Nicole Avatar

I would use the first coppery-orange color to complement my blue eyes. I love that this palette includes some very light-colored highlight shadows. Most of the palettes I own do not include highlights that are light enough for super fair skin.

morriss Avatar

I could wear so many looks with this palette because of the variety of shades, but because it is a neutral palette I could get quite a few looks that would be school appropriate but still fun.

shamim Avatar

I would love to win this palette! I would use it for a beautiful summery coppery eye, a neutral eye and evening smokey eye! So many different combinations!

shamim Avatar

I would love to win this palette. I could use it for a pretty neutral daytime look, summery copper/bronzed eye and a smokey evening look!

Aimee Avatar

Man, I love that she includes orange. It’s such a fun accent color that just warms up a look when used subtly. I would love to play around with the orange!

Laurinha Avatar

This e/s palette is very versatile… I can wear it during the day using brown/bronze or wear a more dramatic version, with black/gold, bronze/gold/black….. so many options!!

Cindy de Gilder Avatar

We don’t have Kat von D in Holland and I want this palette so badly!

I’d use Entomology as inner corner and browbone highlighter, Delaney on the lid, Vanish as a transition color, Shadow Box in the crease and Deadhead to deepen the crease bit more and use it as a soft eyeliner.

Sandra Arellano Avatar

Omgosh I’ve been eyeing this palette for some time. I would do a warm, sultry smokey eye with the first 3 and a more intense smokey eye with the last 3. These colors remind me of warm summer nights. Beautiful.

Valerie C. Avatar

I’ve been going on job interviews. I’d wear the neutrals on the right side of the palette for future interviews.

Stephanie Avatar

I would just go ham on all of them at it would be a crazy, colourful butterfly fest on my face and it would be amazing.

AudreyNZ Avatar

I’d wear Wrath on the lid, Shadow Box on the outer corners merging into Disintegration in the crease, Telepathy on the inner corners, Tiny Death on the brow bone and for blending, Deadhead as an eyeliner and Papilio for the outer two thirds of the bottom lid…aah, that was great fun just imagining that in my head 🙂

Niki Stransky Avatar

I would try looks using each of the three colour groups first and then work out which colour(s) I like best together and have some play time.

coco sandes Avatar

I’d use the orange/bronze colours to make a really pretty autumn look, and use the highlighting colours to accent it!

Catelin -Tinyvapor Avatar

I would wear this about every single day anywhere I go. I am a mom and this pallet would really help speed up the makeup process and add that pop to my tired eyes (lol) . Good luck all and thank you for such an awesome giveaway!

Mariam Avatar

Woohoooo! I always wear neutrals and this would be a great addition (now that my hubby’s bp out of job, can’t even afford:( )

Mariam Avatar

Woohoooo! I always wear neutrals and this would be a great addition (now that my hubby’s out of job, can’t even afford:( )

Patricia Avatar

I’d love to give this palette a try. I’d have to play around with it to know how I’d best use it, but that middle quad really appeals to me.

kjh Avatar

First shot: Shimmery neutral (center section) with Wrath in the outer V. Maybe some Taj Mahal, try out heat Wave/Autumn Leaves/More/Sephora carnelian, Kat l/s….there’s certainly lots to do with monarch. For me, it looks to be a better neutral palette than N1, probably N2, and maybe even N3.

But, i think you should give the palette to an international reader, who cannot get Sephora products, or one for whom getting them is prohibitively expensive.

Maria Avatar

I would wear this on a every day basis because it has nice neutral colors, but I would also wear a smokey eye with this palette because it also has a dark black colored eye shadow to create a look like that.

Nikki Avatar

I’ve been looking for a new neutral palette, as my Naked palette is slow disappearing. The center colors look wonderful for the summer time!

Quinctia Avatar

If I had the palette, I doubt I could resist mixing the coppery shades with the deep maroony plum from one of the Kat Von D palettes I already own!

BB Avatar

I would use the orange in the crease and the brown shade next to that on the lid. Use the darkest brown (second to last) in the outer corners.

Alison Avatar

I’m rather a fan of a coppery smokey eye at the moment, so I’d probably use that burnt orange shade on the lid buffed out with a tiny bit of the soft brown and a bit of black in the outer corner and as liner to ground the look, since it’s a bit warm on me. I wouldn’t mind using the brown and the taupe, too!

Helene Avatar

Not that I think I’d win this, though I can hope. We don’t have Kat von D here, so it would be loads of fun testing this, I think it looks quite versatile. I’d do a day look with the 4 shades in the middle, maybe exclude the grey one, and amp it up for eveningwear using the warm browns. It’s hard to really say anything for sure until one gets to test it.

Delia Avatar

I would wear this palette everyday and do a neutral look for work. I would use Entomology as my brow highlight, then killing jar on my eyelid, vanish as my crease color and a little bit of shadow box on the outer corner and telepathy on my inner corner of my eyes also a little of disintegration on my lower lashline to even it out. ♥

Ivanna Avatar

It looks like a much more high end version of Sonia Kashuk’s Eye On Neutral palette, and I use that one every single day.

Meg Avatar

Oh! I just swatched this in Sephora yesterday! I aaaaalmost bought it, but decided it was too expensive and that I’d wait until the next VIB sale. But if I won it, I’d probably attack that center quad right away – the taupey silvers are so so pretty:)

Katya Avatar

Thanks Christine for this awesome giveaway! I have been lusting over this palette for the soft ochre color…I would love to use that on my lids for a dramatic contrast with my blue eyes! 🙂

Christie White Avatar

The Monarch palette looks so pretty! I really like the darker colors on the end. Smokey eye! So many palettes don’t have the dark colors for some reason?

Sherry B. Avatar

I would use it to create everything from light, fresh, natural summer-time looks to sultry smokey eyes! I also think that it could “roll-over” for great Autumn looks. It appears to be a very, versatile palette!

Erica P. Avatar

I would definitely use this palette for some neutral looks but I could also use it to create a smoky eye from time to time.

Mihaela Avatar

Thank You Christine for giving everyone a chance to
WIN this gorgeous palette!
Besides the fact that I absolutely LOVE butterflies since I
Was a little girl, and my toddler loves them too,
I adore this palette ever since it was launched… I’ve been
Trying looks at Sephora w/ it and WISH I could
Buy it, but as usual some other things are priority!!! 🙁
Still I believe this one is a Winner! Good Luck to everyone!

Renee Gravemaker Avatar

I wanted tu buy a Kat Von D product for ages, but my budget won’t let me 🙁
This is an amazing every day palette, i would get so much use out of this!
I would use it to create a nude smokey eye, or just an everyday simple make-up look

Natalie Brown Avatar

Hi! I would definitely do an awesome smoked look with the foursome on the left. Gorgeous deep Summer time colors! Thank-you!

M. Avatar

With this palette, I’d love to create an angelic, shimmery eye look grounded with taupe but with accents of baby pink patted in the center of the lid and blended out under the lashline.

Marina Grigório Avatar

Kat Von D is the dream of every makeup maniac! I have ordered some matte lip gloss brand, and I’ve seen the shadows have great attachment! Then do as many looks as pro day for a striking party, would love to win!

KK Avatar

I am still experimenting with eye makeup and this looks like a lovely palette for someone who would like to play it safe. I would try to work out the shades with sheer wash of colour and then when I am comfortable with the shades, try my hand at combining them to create more vivid looks.

hello_luvr Avatar

I haven’t tried anything from Kat Von D, so I would love to win this palette! I would use the 1st part of the palette for a sexy bronzy look during the weekend, the middle eyeshadows for an everyday work look and the 3rd part for a sultry night out and to change my makeup from day to night for happy hour or dinner.

Kate (@ktsmurf) Avatar

Wow, this palette has so many options! A nice neutral day look with the quad on the right, to a firey tropical night time eye with the quad on the left. I love the range of orange and peachy colors with the shimmers and neutrals.

jillbel Avatar

I love the colors in the palette – I feel like you can use them in so many ways! Kat Von D has great quality products as well.

Faith G. Avatar

I would love to create a golden smokey look with this palette! The shadows are a lot warmer than the ones in my collection, so I would love to give it a try 🙂

Diana Avatar

These colors are perfect for me – and for summer! I plan to use the bronze/orange shades a lot when I’m spending time at my friend’s beach house this summer.

Katie M. Avatar

I would love to play around with all of those beautiful colors and see how many different looks I could do with them!!! Amazing palette!

Ellen Avatar

I love the warm neutrals. I would wear the matte base shade all over the eye. Then the peachy/pink shade on lid. Then a layer of the light brown/taupe shade in the crease, with a layer of the orange shade over it. Then the bronze in the outer corner of the lid into the outer edge of the crease shade (an outside v shape). Then the dark brown to line the upper lash line with a slight wing out, and the bronze on the lower lash line. I could do this look alternating with several shades in the palette, including using a more shimmery base color in the underbrow area and in the inner corner of the eye, making it a more gold and brown look than a peachy look by using the gold color on the eyelid and browns in the crease and corner. There are endless possibilities, especially if you add other colors that you already own! The Ladybird palette is a more matte version of these colors, with a purple shade included. Adding purple to one of these looks would really vamp it up for an evening or holiday look!

Liane Avatar

I would create countless looks with this palette starting from simple/quick looks to dramatic/night-out combos. With all my love for Megan Fox’s makeup, I would swipe gold shade (Summerfly) all over the lid with light browny-taupe (Vanish) in a crease just a little bit, then follow with black (Deadhead) to tightline (Megan loves to do that :)) the eyes, to clean up under the sharp, arched eyebrow, I’d use light-cream shadow (Tiny Death). Also to add a bit of twist to her signature look, I’d take a browny shadow (Paplio), just to lightly/thinly smoke out the bottom lashline for more polished/sultry kind of look. To carry out the cat-eye effect and elongate the eyes further, I’d swipe lightly some other browny shade in outer-v (Disintegration seems perfect for that!), and I guess the Megan Fox look with a little twist would be complete! 🙂

Liane Avatar

oh, and I forgot about adding black shadow (Deadhead) in the waterline to make eyes appear more almond-shaped + doing a little tiny flick in upward motion would give more of appearence of slated eyes, like Megan’s! 🙂
