This is an fantabulous giveaway! If I won either the Sephora or Ulta gift card I would use it to stock up on beauty essentials such as the Lancome eye make-up remover or a Bite lipstick. As I am in school full-time (11 months to go!) and working part-time, I really don’t have the funds to support my beauty needs. It would be great to actually go shopping and look put-together for school and clinicals!

Ooh, and I would use the Sephora gift card to buy the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush palette, the Tarte blush palette, the Vice 3 palette, and some Bite or YSL lipsticks! Or more of the Laura Mercier caviar eye sticks. I WANT THEM ALL!

At Ulta I’d use the gift card for It Cosmetic’s Naturally Pretty palette, and I would love to try some of the Lipstick Queen lipsticks.

Oh boy! I would definitely use this gift card on either holiday set that will be coming out or use it to splurge on some nice cosmetics (like Dior, YSL, etc.) that I wouldn’t normally purchase!!

If I won a gift card (hopefully to Sephora, because Ulta does not ship internationally and I live in Canada-!) I would use it for my all-time big wishlist items which I cannot usually afford – high quality brushes, the NARS Multiple, Stila’s foiled eyeshadows, and many things from Urban Decay and OCC, whose brand philosophy I appreciate and whose products rarely irritate my sensitive skin. I would also love to buy gifts for my friends. I am a student and I work part time but I will soon be unemployed and have to cut down on all non-essential spending… This would help me out so much!

I would love to try out some of the Glam Glow masks and there is this awesome kit at Sephora for $69 that has the thirsty mud mask full sized plus two deluxe samples of their other two masks (the black and grey ones). I would also love to buy the full size of the Elizabeth & James Nirvana White perfume – I have the rollerball version now and I am in love with the scent!!

Ooh, at Sephora I’d finally be able to get YSL lipstick in Rouge Bergamasque. I try it every time I’m there but can’t justify it yet.

From Ulta, I’d get an apocalypse supply of Burt’s Bees Blemish Stick, and Lancome Rich Cashmere.

In regards as to what I’d use the giftcard for —

It’s actually my 23rd birthday on September 23 LOL! If I were to win this, it would be the ultimate birthday present! I’ve recently taken a break from university in order to look for a full time job to help continue to pay for university (ironic right?). If I were to win this gift card I would definitely spend it on buying work appropriate cosmetics for the office! Just the other day my mom was telling me that I’d have to tone down my makeup for work (goodbye neon lippies and glitter nails, I will always love thee). I’d spend it on some toned down blushes and lipsticks most definitely.

Right now I’m taking donations for new, like-new, and gently used personal care items to donate to charities like Dress for Success, and any of the gift cards would help but staples that I’m falling short on, like mascara, shampoo, foundation/powder, etc. Kind of a silly way to use a free gift card, but I’ve got more than I need already; these women are starting over and need any and all help they can get!

I tried out the Black Orchid Tom Ford perfume, and THEN found out how expensive it was! So I’d totally use the Sephora gift card for that. Or I’d buy some liquid lipsticks from ULTA 🙂

I’m running low on foundation! I just started using sunscreen everyday to protect my face, but the kind I like turns my face white, and I’m using some leftover loose powder foundation that I had stopped using previously… so yeah if I don’t want to look like a ghost I gotta get foundation. I also have never owned an eyeshadow palette so I was hoping to invest in one and some good brushes, depending on how much I have left over!

I would use the gc to buy more facial and body oils, for me it’s better than lotion because it softens my skin and keeps its moisturized. But oils are so much more expensive and you get so little.
