When you are short on time, what makeup look do you opt for?

Honestly, I’m comfortable with absolutely no makeup, so that might be closer to the real-life choice. If I want or need to wear some, though, then I get foundation applied in a light layer, fill brows in, and do a coat of mascara. I keep a gloss in my purse for on the go application.

I always (99% of the time) NEED under-eye concealer. Then a quick swipe of something flesh toned on my lids (MAC Painterly or a similar shade of powder shadow), a bit of liner (Sephora Cappuccino is what I always reach for), some blush (I’m very pale) and some tinted lip balm and I’m good to go.

Eyebrow pencil is non-negotiable (my brows are gray and sparse). I also lightly (pencil) line lower lid and tightline outer 3rd of upper lid (hooded eyelids and my lashes border on invisible). No foundation, concealer only as needed. Lipstick/gloss from purse at some point.

Nowadays, none 🤷 When I worked at Ulta, my minimum for shifts during store open was clear brow gel, highlighter (either Flexitarian or Stole the Show by ColourPop), and a sheer lip (often Ex-Girlfriend by Urban Decay or a sparkly gloss). And mascara, if I was feeling like I would be willing to bother with removing that later.

A light and a medium eyeshadow stick like Laura Mercier’s or Mally’s and then lining the upper lash line and or outer v with a dark liner, mascara, concealer dotted on here and there and lipstick doubling as blush.

Quite often I will go without as we are usually outside with the dog at the park. But if I have time spot concealer, brows, eyeliner and mascara. I’ve been applying a tanning lotion to my face so I don’t need foundation in the summer. My cheeks are often flushed from hot flashes so that takes care of blush lol.

Always SPF. More tinted SPF with a dab of foundation, concealer, cream bronzer and blush for definition on eyes and cheeks. Quick, light layers, set everything with Hourglass and bareMinerals. Takes five mins. Spritz with CT spray, eye pencil definition on outer V, curl lashes, boom, done.

I am forever short on time, but I don’t feel 100% comfortable completely bare faced. Plus I have an SPF obsession. My normal routine lately has been a Korean SPF (either Neogen Airy or Thank you Farmer), dusting of translucent powder to take away shine (either Innisfree No Sebum or Nars translucent crystal). A super quick swipe color on cheek & lids (either Nars Orgasm, Laguna or the blush from the I’m meme Multicube 01 sweet pink). Lips varies so much. City Lips clear to Clinique black honey to a variety of colors of NYX butter glosses or this is milky glosses to Etude fixing tints. Oh & if I’m feeling fancy or have time, Erborian CC cream in fair.

I often go out of the door bare faced if going to the gym, grocery shopping, walking the dog etc. When going to the office or meeting with people, evening out my complexion is a must for me: foundation, under eye concealer, setting powder and a quick blush that doesn’t need much blending or building up. If I then still have time, I will curl my lashes & add mascara. I’ll swipe some low maintenance lip color/balm/gloss on my way.

I go bare-faced most days honestly. I clock in for work at 7am so I don’t usually have time to do more than just a swipe of tinted brow gel. My 3 minute face is brow pencil, brow gel, pink cream blush and bright lipstick!

Honestly, sunscreen is the most important when I’m short on time. The next would be a concealer for my undereyes. I have a touch-up foundation/concealer in my bag (the new formulation of Maybelline Super Stay Concealer is excellent for this) and a spf sheer red lipstick that can double as blush in a pinch. I frequently forget to do my brows or powder–both of which would also be helpful in polishing up my look.
