What's your most used blush?

What’s your most used blush? Share!

The blush with the biggest dent is MAC Margin, as it’s a bajillion years old and it was my only blush for years, but my currently most-used would be Tom Ford Love Lust.

I really don’t have one, as I’ve been exploring the world of blush lately! I’d have to say Maybelline Master Hi Light in Deep Bronze (iirc the name correctly). Perfect shimmer, perfect slight flush. It’s become my default!! Like you though, the only blush I had for awhile was MAC Gingerly… So that’s probably my most used! Still perfect but doesn’t give me dat shimmer I crave. 🙂

Tarte powder blush in Daydream -came in a set. It’s a mix of pink, plum, berry and goes with a lot of lipstick colors.

Lotus Avatar

Haha! I jump around a lot, but the blush I’ve used the most of in my time is Frankly Scarlet by MAC. I’ve not touched it for years, though.

Nicole Avatar

Tom Ford Love lust is probably my all time most used up blush with ( the one with the dent ) . Thank goodness Mr. Ford is generous with many of his products because the price certainly is not kind on the wallet. Such a gorgeous color and formula. But my fickle blush brush has been swooned by ColourPop Fox a bit more for springtime/ early summer . It’s a bit more work . So, not a daily for me. But, if I have time ,Fox it is! It’s really nice mixed a bit with Milanis delizio pink too. I actually get asked a lot what it is when I’m out by the SA at the counters and Sephora. I so love it! I think the name takes me back to my hayday too..makes it all the more fun. $8 too..so why not! Note to self, order another in next ColourPop order in case they d/c it!

I tend rotate through lots of blushes. Of all time: BareMinerals All Over Face Color in Rose Radiance. I can’t count how many jars I’ve gone through since it came out (late 1990s or early 2000s, I think). Also: Sleek Life’s a Peach; Milani Rose Blush in Coral Cove; MUFE HD Cream Blush 410 (Coral); Tarte Exposed; Tarte Buff (DC’d, I believe); MAC Pink Sprinkles.

Most likely Essence Cream Blush in Ice Bomb from Me & My Ice Cream collection. However, when I travel (which is usually when I wear make-up the most because I’m not just cooped up in my room) I bring Bourjois Cream Blush in 01 Nude Velvet instead, because the packaging is far more travel-friendly than the Essence one. I love that I don’t really need brushes to apply these cream-to-powder blushes. <3

Up till now it has been Nyx Pinched, it just always looked so natural but glowy. Now that I have Clinique Cola Pop, that may change a bit! Also natural looking, but just different due to the lack of shimmer. And yet it’s still got a glowy-ness going on! Love ’em both.

Linda Avatar

Benefit Dallas – for me it’s the perfect blush-and-bronzer in one, which I love. I’ve actually stopped bronzer altogether since trying blush for the first time last year (I always wondered why spend so much time covering my redness only to put more on?) and I’m probably not supposed to, but I use it to contour and I get compliments on it.

Love the packaging *design* but it’s not the most practical, much prefer the round compact style. Oh well!

Natalia Avatar

Gosh, it must be MAC Warm Soul 🙂 It’s such a no nonsense everyday blush that you just know it will go well with anything. BTW, can s/o confirm or deny that Warm Soul in the new packaging is a bit different from the one in the old packaging?

Honorable mention goes to MAC Please Yourself blush from the Lightness of Being collection and Inglot AMC blush #55, love those two as well.

Kat Avatar

I want Warm Soul sooooo bad! I have the Mineralize Blush in New Romance (peach with moderate pink) and I love the formula. I’m a big fan of luminous blushes and neutral blushes, and Warm Soul definitely fits the bill. (I actually went into the store interested in WS but the sales associate talked me into NR).

Gillian Avatar

I haven’t used it recently since it’s so close to being done but MAC Moon River. I have a back up since it’s limited edition but I don’t want to touch it! I always go back to MAC’s Mineralize blushes, I just love shimmer and glow. 🙂

Mariella Avatar

Tarte Natural Beauty used to be my most used but now it’s in a rotation with Clinique Plum Pop and MAC Sweet Sentiment – I use all 3 pretty equally. My blush with the biggest “dent” is still MAC Desert Rose, which simply will not die and is about as old as your pan of Margin, Christine. Mind you, it just languishes in my gym bag little makeup bag so it doesn’t get much use. I should probably just put it in with my other B2M stuff.

Dany Avatar

Mine would be Tom Ford Love Lust too! Made a dent within the first month I got it! But I stopped using it for a while now.

ATMWord Avatar

One of my first blushes was NARS Orgasm. I killed it off and haven’t repurchased. Now I have A LOT of blushes but my favorite I feel is Milani Luminoso. It’s a great price and compliments my skin and red hair REALLY well.

Bengisu Avatar

I am -almost- never able to keep any cosmetic product for long if i don’t use it, cause then i’ll put it on blog sale and blush is the category that gets sold out fastest. So, personally, I guess it’s between MAC Harmony or Just A Wisp. I love them both like crazy!

megan Avatar

I have way too many blushes haha. But my most used is Mac mineralized blush in LoveJoy. It’s just the best bronze/rose color on my dark skin tone that just about goes with any makeup look. Its the only blush that has the dome part flattened out!

Megz Avatar

It was MAC blushbaby for the longest time and I have just a tiny, sad ring left in my pan, but I discovered mocha and actually prefer that instead.

CJ Avatar

That’s my favorite too! My sister got into a car accident right after picking it up for me, so I started off using it out of guilt, but I’ve used it so much the embossing is long gone.

Sherri Avatar

I rotate through my blushes a lot as I’ve recently expanded my collection, particularly with MAC’s powder blushes. I used to use Benefit Hervana a LOT because it was the only one I had (I used to love Dandelion but it was too light for my skin!). Now, I’d say my most used blushes are MAC Sea Me, Hear Me and Tarte Exposed.

Molly Avatar

I love my Cabana Boy, it’s been my go to for a while. I used to have a little Clinique mini that was nearly identical to it back from my mom’s destash in the 90’s, and I’ll always wish I had written down the name of the shade before the label wore off!

I also love Prenup and Birthday Suit from Colourpop, but they’re too new to me to really prove themselves as favorites yet.

M Avatar

I jump around a lot, but during this past winter I used butter London’s cream blush in Ruby Murray almost every day. When the weather started getting warmer, I switched to their cream blush in Naughty Biscuit and Tiddly. Now that I’ve hauled a bunch of new ones, I’ve been going between Clinique cheek pops in nude pop and ginger pop and ColourPop blushes. Last spring/summer I wore Laura Mercier cream blush in sunrise and Hourglass ambient blush in dim infusion most of the time. Love coral for warmer weather!

Jess Avatar

I try to rotate regularly, but lately it’s been ColourPop in Trickery. Love, love, love this shade! Sometimes I add Milani Luminoso or Nars Sex Appeal on top for extra staying power and added dimension.

xamyx Avatar

NARS Zen & MAC Brit Wit, but only because I use them to contour. The blush that shows the most “wear” is MAC At Dusk, and the *only* blush I’ve ever repurchased was Revlon Sandalwood Beige just before it was DC’d (my original one was the only blush I’ve ever finished). Currently, I’ve been favoring Lancome Cappuccino & Hollywood from an old LE blush quad I rediscovered about a year ago.

Ellen Avatar

Love it too, but a little dull on its own. Used to layer a priivate label blush called Santa Fe over it and it was perfect, but Santa Fe is gone and can’t find replacement. MAC prism is close, and its got a big hole in the bottom.

Brenda P Avatar

My most used blush would be….i have no idea. LOL. The oldest one with pan showing is an Almay plum coloured blush. My easiest to wear beigey pink is NYC Central Park PInk so that one is always in my daily items box. I would use everyday but it’s LE, is MAC Prim & Proper.

Coffee Avatar

MAC “X-Rocks”. It came out a long time ago with the Solar collection. I’ve hit pan and I’m now dangerously low on it 🙁

IRockFaces Avatar

I think blushes take the longest amount of time to use if you get one with a high enough quality, but depending on the brand they can wear down pretty quick. My Nars blushes will last me for years because they only take the tiniest amount to make me look effortless. On top of that they last all day long on my skin (I’m talking 12+ hours with no real fading). My milani blushes are pretty, way cheaper, but they fade after just 2 or 3 hours max no matter the weather. So Nars wins all day long. I love them so much I’m investing in a few more just for the summer. lol

Diana Avatar

Most used of all time would be MAC Pink Swoon and Milano Rose D’Oro; I’ve had both for a loooong time. Most used recently though would be ColourPop Between the Sheets, I’ve used it almost every day since I received a couple days after ColorPop released blushes

Tiffanie Avatar

My most used up is Benefit Rockateur, mostly because I had to really dig into it to get the color payoff for my darker skin. The most used lately are Clinique Ginger Pop and MAC Sweet as Cocoa. Also, NARS Dolce Vita is, and will always remain in heavy rotation.

Krista Avatar

I got heavily into makeup about 5 years ago. Blush is one of my favorite things to buy. I have a ton, I’ve never hit pan on a blush and most likely won’t! I’d say my most used are tarte exposed and benefit sugarbomb. I need to bust out sugarbomb again soon!

miekogirlie99 Avatar

tough because i like to switch it up a lot but the one i always come back to would be my hourglass blush palette – mostly the orange shade in the center 🙂

Annie Avatar

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Radiant Magenta! I bought it thinking it would be more of a “special occasion” blush but it is totally perfect for everyday!

Before that my most-used blush was Sleek Rose Gold and that is now my #2. They are both similar peachy-gold pinks but the Sleek blush has a lot more fine shimmer/glow (similar to Nars Orgasm but more refined shimmer)… which makes it great for days when I don’t want to bother with highlighter on my cheeks… it gives the highlight effect on its own!

Jovanna Avatar

MAC’s Space Out from the Neo Sci-Fi collection back in 2008! The only blush I’ve ever hit pan on. I love it so much and still wear it (even though I probably shouldn’t lol). Hopefully they re-release it one day. A girl can dream. Otherwise, NARS Orgasm in spring/summer and Benefit Dallas in fall/winter.

Susan Dowman Nevling Avatar

Love the Clinique flowers. As usual, I can’t remember the names. I have a soft coral and a soft cherry from the first release.

Ess Avatar

Sleek “Honour”. Mostly because it’s like a nice nod towards Game of Thrones.

I’m pretty sure it’s limited edition as I bought it as part of the 2012 Olympics collection (or the collection celebrating it). So… once it runs out I’ll probably cry.

Brittany Avatar

Probably MAC Whole Lotta Love Pro Longwear. It was the first blush I bought when I was starting to collect makeup. I bought it for the name because Led Zeppelin is one of my favorite bands ever, but it turned out to be a gorgeous pink that works well with my complexion and stays on really well. Pleasant surprises are the best. 🙂

Sarah Avatar

I rotate a lot, but my most used (and most foolproof) is Illamasqua Zygomatic. I’m close to pan, though, and it’s super hard to get the brand in Canada now, so I’m trying to ration it!

Minka Avatar

my favourite blush is MAC Glamour Feast — I’m NC45 n it’s the most perfect, most natural blush I’ve ever come across. I don’t know what I’ll do when I run out!

Pami Avatar

I change blushes daily as I rarely do the same m/u two days in a row, but I guess if I had to choose the most used, because they are some of my oldest are BB Powder Pink (discontinued) and in the spring and summer I love Benefit Coralista. My blushes range from fairly neutral like Armani #10 (discontinued) to pinks, mauves, plums, lilacs, heathers, and peachy pinks. Really the only shades I don’t wear are ones that are too warm on my fair to light cool (pink) skin to be flattering. I probably wear pinks the most. NARS Gaiety is a wonderful, foolproof all-purpose pink too.

Cat Avatar

Nars Sex Fantasy. I love the way it brightens up my face. I sweep it from cheek to ear, then apply a more pigmented blush over it just on my cheeks. (I was fortunate to find a back-up on a wholesale site.)

Catherine Avatar

Lately? Colourpop’s Prenup! I’m fair, cool toned and *cough!OLD!cough!* so the bit of pearly sheen is flattering as it adds a suggestion of youthful glow. I also like Luminous Flush from Hourglass.
Big di$$apointment for me recently was Guerlain’s Meteorite’s Angelic Radiance “Perles de Blush” as they sadly lacked the subtle, sheer, radiant color I was expecting from a “Meteorites” product. No matter how delicately I applied, it was always “too much”. I looked like the deceased Madam from The Grand Budapest Hotel. *sigh*
Looking forward to sampling the newest Clinique “Pop”s, particularly Pansy, when it comes into stock locally. Also want to play with the stronger shades of the new Colourpop Highlighters! At their prices, they are well worth the risk of experimentation. Any failures go gleefully to my niece… a total win/win!!!

Christy Avatar

Luminous Flush–the far left blush in the Hourglass blush palette. I use the other two–Incandescent Electra and Mood Exposure–quite a bit too. Prior to purchasing that palette, Rouge Bunny Rouge Florita and Orpheline were my go-tos.

Maggie Avatar

NARS Amour. But I’ve been leaning towards pinks lately so I’ve been rotating btw Makeup Geek First Love, NARS Sex Fantasy and Tarte Dollface.

Elizabeth Avatar

When Urban Decay discontinued their original blushes, I really stocked up my backup stash. I have been using Lounge and Paranoid probably equally. I also use NARS Sin as well as Oasis so I am not using up my UD stash as quickly. These four blushes really suit me, and the shimmer in the NARS blushes gives a little more dimension for evening looks. Before that, the only blush I ever used was a Clinique blush, long discontinued, that was a cream, and it was something Raisin. It doubled quite well as a lip color as well. I used it all through high school and college. I am thinking about going to Ulta today to see the new UD blushes in person today so I can pick up my birthday bonus. I loved the old blushes, so if the new ones perform as well as the old ones, I can finally use up my stash and start out with new colors. They released more than they had before, and I want to see if Fetish and Score are the color of if they have been tweaked or changed.

Amanda Avatar

MAC Gleeful for sure! I’ve had mine for over two years now and I’m still nowhere near hitting pan even though I use it almost every day (It was my only blush until I got NARS Exhibit A last fall!). I’m still marveled at the fact that people hit pan on things!

El Avatar

Powder – Illamasqua in Sophie (pinky coral with fine gold shimmer)

Liquid – Daniel Sandler Watercolour in Flush (pink)

Cream – Bourjois pot, can’t remember the shade number but it’s a neutral pink

Kelly Avatar

For summer, I love peachy colors on my tan skin, so I’ve been using Benefit’s Majorette quite often. It’s a cream-to-shadow formula and leaves such a beautiful touch of peach to my cheeks. Also, as an added bonus, it smells like pomegranate. Love it! I purchased it last year and still going strong!

Laurel Avatar

Benefit Sugarbomb is my most used blush and the only blush that I hit pan on. I actually don’t like this blush anymore now that I’ve used it a lot. It’s too frosty and isn’t as flattering on me as other blush colors.

Ellen Avatar

I bounce around a lot based on how dark or light my hair seems. I’ve been gravitating towards more color lately, not just taupey browns. But my all time favorite was Bobbi Brown’s Bahama Btown from the Desert Twilight duo. Haven’t been able to find a dupe for it, although I’ve spent a lot trying!! I can ger close by layering two of her bronzers over each other, Natural and Telluride. But MAC Prism gives a similar tawny mauve tint as well, and that’s almost all gone. There seems to be quite an uproar about Clinique’s new blushes. The old ones were terrible quality, so hard and dry you couldn’t ger the color out. I’ll have to check out the new ones soon. But Ihave been loving the quality of MAC’s blushes, and I layer quite a lot to make my own combos, espectially with contour colos underneath.

violet Avatar

I own WAY TOO MANY blushes! I have a real problem buying them because I just love all the pretty colors and trying them on myself but I never finish them. I never used to think of Benefit’s Dandelion as a blush because it is so light (even though I am SUPER pale) and I’d usually layer something over it. BUT, it really has to win out as my most used since I’ve used it ever since I started wearing blush many years ago and it’s the ONLY blush I have re-purchased. When I moved to another, constantly sunny state, my skin tone got a little darker and I also started working at a Sephora so with that discount came ALOT of NARS blushes. The first, and definitely most used/dented out of my collection is a very pigmented, crazy looking red called Crazed. To be honest, I loved the name, but it also looks great on me using a light hand, which usually goes for all NARS blushes. I than switched to NARS Sin, which has a pretty nice dent in it. That color looks nice and natural on me… WAY BETTER than Orgasm!
So, if I want a “red”- NARS “Crazed”
a “cool/blue pink”- NARS “Mata Hari”
a “peachy pink”- NARS “Deep Throat” (NO Orgasm for me)
a “very slight baby pink”- Benefit Dandelion
and to “amp up” and add some shimmer to Dandelion, layer over with- NARS Angelick

Sorry I had so many. I listed them according to the blush color/look wanted. But the definite most used are NARS Crazed, NARS Sin, and for the most EVER- Benefit Dandelion.

MIA Avatar

One of my all time favorites is Coygirl by MAC which is now discontinued (unfortunately) but at the moment my most used is Clinique Color Pop in Fig. I think this is my new favorite blush!!!

Donna Avatar

Now that summer is here, I’ve been using Too Faced’s Ross and Rachel Bronzer/Blush duo. When it is not summer I usually use Bobbi Brown Pale Pink or Chanel Rose Ecrin. or Innocence. It really depends on what I’m wearing. I’m a neutral so if I’m wearing warmer colors I’ll warm it up with Chanel Innocence.
