Lately, it’s Paloma Picasso but I have several winter/cold weather favourites- Maison Margiela By the Fireplace, Clinique Aromatics Elixir, Guerlain Shalimar and Fresh Cannabis Rose (not sure if that last one is still being produced but I have a very large bottle of it).
I don’t wear scents by season. So winter will usually find me wearing my usual favorites;. YSL Black Opium, Tom Ford Black Orchid, Elizabeth & James Nirvana Black and Nirvana Bourbon.
My favorite is Tom Ford Velvet Orchid for all the holiday festivities. During the day, La Vie Est Belle En Rose is delightful. Both really hold up well in the cold and lift my spirit. I love perfume the most in the winter.
I tend to light spicy/musky/vanilly scents year round, especially so in the Winter. That said, I’m using up some heavier florals – Elizabeth Arden Red Door (such a fabulous memory maker for me!), Penhaligon’s The Favorite (I have a small sampler), and a few from the MFK sampler set I bought a few months ago.
I just recently started getting into fragrance this season and I’m so excited about it! Lately I’ve been wearing Kayali Invite Only Amber, Kilian Angels Share, and Alien by Mugler.
Totally depends on my mood and also where I’m going. I love Tom Ford Black Orchid, but would never wear it to a medical facility or doctor’s office!
I also still love my YSL Black Opium Nuit Blanche, Maison Margiela By The Fireplace and Avon x Christian LaCroix Absynthe for more regular wear. They smell lovely, and are not too much for daytime or going in for something medical.
Victor & Rolf’s “Flower Bomb”. When I’m feeling very nostalgic and want to reminesce it’s Tommy Hilfiger’s “Tommy Girl”.
Killian Back to Black or Serge Lutens Amber Sultan if it’s really cold. They smell so good on my sweaters.
Sweetie Aoud by Roja and Killian Angel Share are a couple of my favorites during the colder days.
Clinique’s Black Intense Aronmatics perfume is my favourite winter and all year round favourite perfume.
Burberry London. I don’t wear many scents but I love this one.
I just recently discovered Tom Ford Oud Wood and I love, love, love!
I wear it year round but Mugler’s Alien is my favorite winter fragrance.
There are too many to name but here’s a sample: Lost Cherry by Tom Ford, By the Fireplace by MMM, Candy by Prada, Cade & Cedarwood by Jo Malone and Orange Bitters by Jo Malone.
I don’t really wear by season, just whatever I fancy, whatever the season.
But, Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille, By Kilian Angel’s Share, Guerlain Cuir Beluga all have that cosy feeling in the winter.
