Rubenesque paint pot, old gold pigment, woodwinked e/s & blackline pearlglide eyeliner (that you made me go out and buy today!) hehe turned out really great!
oh my gosh so many…
base/shadow combos:
nyx jumbo pencil-baby blue, with UD shattered shadow.
rubenesque paing pot, with UD “x” shadow.
green smoke paintpot, with kat von d razor gray
nyx jumbo pencil- gold, with UD half baked shadow.
nyx jumbo pencil- horse raddish, with UD urb shadow.
& gorgeous pink look i came up with this afternoon.
mac: girl friendly paintpot; all over
mac: free to be; lid
mac: sushi flower & UD: last call; crease & outer corner mixed together
mac: swish; inner corner & lower lashline
🙂
mac: pink split (pink color only); higlight
What eyeshadow do think I could use with nyx bronze jumbo pencil. I recently got all of the nyx jumbo pencil from shopcraze. I really do love them alot..I was thinking about ud twice backed for a smoky eye look but not for sure. I also would like your opinion on the orange and lemon jumbo pencil. I really don’t own any yellow eyeshadow mainly because I am a MAC NW45. Thanks.
Oh, by the way love the combinations they sound very pretty.
dont own bronze yet 🙁
but with lemon, you could try urb or mildew by urban decay and woodwinked looks pretty good and sugar skull in the kat von d memento mori palette would be a great highlight with lemon as a base.
Mac shimmertime pigment all over the lid with hothothot eyeshadow in the outer corner/the in crease with mica Bella mineral eyeshadow in storm in the inner corners and a little on the lid
Ummm. Probably MAC’s Love Lace eyeshadow on the lid blended out to the crease. then a matte brown eyeshadow on the outer v’ it give like an antique blue/blue jeans look. got TONS of compliments on it
Handwritten with Aquadisiac, Clarity and Carbon. All by MAC and the result was AWESOME.
MAC kid, satin taupe, and soba
Fresco Rose paint pot as a base, Flip & Creole Beauty eyeshadow mixed together on eye lid and Glamour Check! eyeshadow on the outer third.
I totally used Fresco paint pot as a base on a whim and it made my intended neutral look a plummy mauve look, which I though was kind of a nice surprise!
Boo for discontinuing the only colour (Artifact, Delft, Fresco Rose) paint pots left in the permanent line!
i always get compliments when i wear mac gold mode pigment on the lid sushi flower in the crease and sketch in the outer corner:)
That sounds pretty!!
Oooh, I am wanting Crush Glow so much!
Dior Pink May #909 quint – I used the centre gold up to my brow, the light lilac all over the lid, the medium purple on the outer third and a little bit of Body Shop eyeshadow #42 (deep shimmery indigo) in the crease. A tiny smidge of Stila Kitten in the inner corner and the barest trace under my brow arch.
Lancome kohl eyeliner in Purple Quartz to finish, with Sitla Major Lash mascara.
I tried VS Private Beach with MAC Twinks and I like how it is a good simple everyday look! =)
MUFE FUchsia on the lid, Urban Decay Flash in the inner and outer corner, UD Mayhem in the crease, and lower lashline. Add liner and voila. But i LOVE teh way the brights blend together! I really want more of the MUFE loose shadows-that fuchsia is my FAVORITE color I own!
MAC off the page and swish! The look awesome together on my skin. I blend them together with romping
I came across this awesome bright blue and yelloe eyeshadow on a blog this week, thinking I should try it out some time =p It’s a combi i have never tried.
freshwater and deep feelings by MAC
urban decay fishnet topped with ransom!
Oh pretty please tell me we get to see!! I love seeing your looks! They inspire me!
The best combination was MAC Shroom,Print and Knight Devine. I love this.
Very simple but wearable for work surprisingly – Blanc Type all over lid up to brow bone then Bough Grey in outer crease and outer V
Kind of like a nude smoky eye
Mac mineralize Sea and Sky and Play on Plums layered over it, (the dark portions of them!), makes a very nice vibrant purple! I use Mineralize Skinfinish Light Flush above crease and Mineralize Love Connection (both swirled) in the inner corners of eye and on lower lash line. Top lid liner is Shiseido cream liner in black, my favorite so far!
Aquadisiac on the lid with Satin Taupe on the crease beautiful!!!!!
Bought a few bits form Liberty of London when it released here in the UK including Birds and Berries e/s. Also used UD Alice palette.
Alice e/s (the bright blue) on the inner corner, birds and berries on main part of the lid, Vorpal (gunmetal grey) blended into the outer corner and crease/above crease. Shroom to highlight and Jabberwocky smudged into the outer corner with Zero eyeliner along the top lashes, a slight flick and 2/3 on the waterline. One of my first proper eye looks with this many colours! Getting the Alice Palette has really made me think more about eye colours 🙂
Manila Paper e/s, Flip e/s, the coppery gold part from Bi-Tone blush and Aztec Brick e/s for accents. (All MAC.) It’s especially vibrant on top of Rubenesque paint pot.
With some oldies…
Almond Icing, Gateaux, and Pinked Mauve in the crease. Phloof as a highlight. It really opens up the eyes!
Crem De Violet and Fig.1
Zinc Zonc greasestick as base on eyelid, light lavender on Devil-May-Care mineralize duo over it on inner 2/3 of eye, Bough Grey on outer 1/3, Knight in crease, and pale yellow side of Illusionary/Burning Ambition mineralize duo on brow bone and tear duct with a little bit of the silver glitter from Devil-May-Care on top of it! Bough Grey and lavender from Devil-May-Care to line bottom…I was very pleased with how this turned out! =)
Ah you are such a tease 😀
dirt greasepaint stick with woodwinked on top!!
Bobbi Brown baby pink on the lid and MAC Fig. 1 in the crease. Pretty! Happy Easter y’all!
MAC’s All That Glitters all over the lid, Trax on the crease & a bit of Beauty Marked on the outer corner! It reminds me of summer for some reason.♥ I rediscovered this combo, I used to love it about 2 or 3 years back when I was about 16/17!
I haven’t worn much makeup this week, which makes me sad, buuut. NYX champagne on the inner part of the lid, UD s&m on the middle/outer part, and UD’s revolver in the outer corner and crease.
NARS Fez on the lid & NARS Condura on the corners & crease.
Lucky Green, Humid, Gorgeous Gold and Femme Fi 🙂
Satin Taupe over Solar White blended into Club (all MAC) on the outer corner.
Very violet over Nanogold on the lid, Very Violet in the crease, Designer Purple pearlglide liner on the upper lid and with a wing tip and halfway on lower lid. Nanogold on inner eye corner and blended from brow bone to Very Violet crease color.
Laura Mercier Vanilla Nuts&Bamboo…so simple, but perfect combo for me
I’ve been getting sick of Stilla’s Kitten but I got an idea for a way to give it new life. Use your finger to apply kitten all over the lid and sweep it up away from the lash line to the browbone. Then use your finger or a brush to cover the stila with a neutral shade that almost matches your skin color (I use the tan shade in NYX’s Dandy trio). Apply a highlight color like matte white or even more kitten and you’re set. You can jazz it up with some liner or mascara, and maybe even a bit of brown in the crease but it looks great with just the two shades.
Artifact Paint pot with Tan Pigment over it—>omg! my fav combo ever 🙂 🙂 🙂
From Urban decay’s Alice and Wonderland Book of Shadows—>Drink me eat me and mad hatter also a pretty combo.
painterly paintpot. inner lid, MAC shroom. 2/3 lid too-faced socialite, outer lid MAC twinks. outer V and crease MAC sketch
newly minted all over the lid with bough grey in the crease with dazzlelight as inner corner highlight and on the brow bone with undercurrent as eyeliner
stila’s kitten on lid up to crease and then nars single eyeshadow in strada on outer corner and crease.
simple but pretty. 🙂
I’ve been experimenting with my Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland palette and did a very nice teal/blue eye. I used Alice (Painkiller) on the whole of the upper lid, White Rabbit (Polyester Bride) below the browbone, Absolem (Homegrown) on the middle part of the lid (on top of Alice), Jinx (BOS 2) in the crease and Flipside (BOS 2) on the outer corner and above the crease. Looked really good, esp paired up with Covet and Flipside 24/7 eyeliners, Mac Springsheen blush and Lychee Luxe lipglass. 🙂
I really like my eyeshadow today. I’m using painterly paint pot as a base, with benefit gilded eye pencil on the lid. I used ud nylon over the gilded with soft brown as a crease/blend out color and yogurt as a highlight. I smudged bad gal eyeliner into my lashline for a smokey effect. It’s a smokey look with a simple shimmery lid!
Clinique strawberry fudge duo from the new GWP looks amazing over UDPP with the pink all over the lid, brown in the crease and outer V, and a little highlight with a light shimmery color.
Macs Tempting blended over the top of Satin Taupe.
MAC Goldmine, Creme de Violet, Maybelline Amethyst, Copperplate, combined with Almost Noir Pearline (CHRISTINE, I BOUGHT THREE! I love them)!
I paired Tete-a-Tint (lid) with Shale (crease)- and Shroom as highlighter, and Her Glitz glitterliner (Hello Kitty) today – surprisingly nice 🙂
I managed a couple, one for day and one for night on Saturday (all MAC products).
Daytime: Bright Sunshine on inner half of lid, Blue Calm (PRO) on outer half- sort of blended them together in the centre; Surreal in the crease to soften; line of Bio Green on lower lid; boot black liner on upper lid, fascinating liner on lower water line, plushlash in black
Nighttime: All Races under brow, Dirty GPS in a thick line along upper lid, smudged a little; Bough Grey all over lid; Free to Be in crease and on outer third of lid (NOTE- this is not the LOL Free To Be, but an older one from a limited edition quad- it’s a very nice matte greenish grey); Birds & Berries in outer V and in outer crease; Guerlain Kohl in black along lower water line and in a thin line on upper lid; mix of bough grey and Girds & Berries along lower lid
jajajaja, didn’t use any eye shadow this week jajajaja
Motif in inner lid and tear duct, Paradisco in outer lid and up to crease, Shale in crease and outer V. Darkened a bit by Lilac Touch. HIP Violet Volt eyeliner.
