We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Hmmm, is that the same as the lip erase from the Dsqured collection? Cause that one sells for 40 bucks on ebay, hahah
This comes to show no limited edition item is wort paying the after season price as MAC always brings them back sooner or later…

When it says PRO next to it does it mean that item of the collection is only going to be available at PRO stores only at release?

I’m really looking forward to getting the flesh tone chromagraphic pencil. I’ve been wanting a matte flesh colored pencil for so long! 🙂

Sam Avatar

i have a question…is this a collection only coming out at pro stores? or is a a collection at regular stores with all pro products?
thanks!

Is the Lip Erase still a PRO product? I saw it on the MAC Canada site (not the PRO one), and I was wondering if they sell it on freestanding stores too.

It’s cool to see some basic pencils in the same basic colors as some of their pro matte pigments, chromalines, chromacakes and paint sticks… however… i’ll probably stick with my paint sticks and chromalines. still though, it’s cool to see 🙂 i like the idea of a range of basic colors spanning across multiple different product types. (if only matte pigments weren’t so bloody hard to work with!)

Christine, I noticed that you only wrote PRO next to each item, not Limited Edition. Does this mean that it will become permanent? Thanks

aksaiyo Avatar

YES!!!! I was worried that it’d be limited edition and I won’t be in the States in time for the collection, and there are no pro shops in my country. If you ever do find out that it’s limited edition, please make the announcement HUGE. Thanks! 🙂

Whitney Avatar

Is Naked pigment the same that was in Holiday? I use it all the time! I thought it was permanent anyway, I swear I saw it in the new packaging for pigments…

Hi Christine! Do you know if MAC Pro stores does a Pre-Sale on their upcoming collections? I have never shopped in one and the one MAC counter I go to often is in Nordstrom. Thanks for the info:)

Dusty Avatar

This is just my experience: They rarely hold official pre-sales… But if you are a regular customer and they know you there, they’ll usually set stuff aside for you if you ask them to. Whether it’s Pro store or a counter at Macy’s, if you have a repour with someone, they’ll help you out (they want to sell you stuff, afterall). LOL 😉

Thank you!

I do know a makeup artist at my local Pro Store- been hunting down the Lip Erase in Dim for a very long time as they are always out of it.

Christine! Will you ever review the products from this collection? namely the pigments? I know they’re perm but I’m dying to find out what you think about them!
