We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! The closest I’ve come to wearing foundation in the past month has been Lise Watier’s powder foundation – Teint Multi Fini. It’s so quick and easy to apply with a powder brush for a slightly more “finished” look and some more even skin tone.

Ever since I received my Lancome Teint Idole Care & Glow foundation last month, I have been using it in almost every look I’ve done. It’s really quite beautiful worn! Covers well, doesn’t catch on any dry patches, wells really great for the duration that I have it on unless I need to blow my schnoz (allergies have been SEVERE these past couple of weeks!), or wipe food away from the lip area (something that I am mindful of, and so I do so very carefully). Also, the shade match is perfect!

A very timely question – usually I would have replied L’Oreal’s True Match foundation, but in November I was on a mission to try out some different foundations and purchased a few. My thoughts are:
L’Oreal’s Serum foundation in Light – a very lightweight foundation – similar to a BB creme, easy to blend, but offers 4-6 hours coverage
MUFE Watertone Foundation: Again, a lightweight foundation suitable for warmer days when you want such a light coverage, quite watery, pump is great, lasts 4-6 hours on me.
Designer Brands (Aus. brand) Skin Renew foundation; Offers medium to full coverage, lasts all day, pump can be tricky, easy to blend and apply.
Shiseido’s Syncro Skin Foundation: Excellent foundation to apply, blend etc. Lasts most of the day, better with primer, colour – not quite sure if it is a tad too dark for me, but I did get Rose 2.

So there is my foundation round up for the month!

Sephora Collection Best Skin Ever powder foundation. I started using it back in the summer and it’s replaced my two long time favorite powder foundations, Lancome Dual Finish and MAC Studio Fix. I still use Studio Fix Fluid when I need extra long wear but for day to day, powder foundation is my go to.

Promise not to laugh? I’ve been using my Too Faced Born This Way Concealer in Marshmallow as my foundation followed by the It Cosmetics Celebration Foundation Illumination Powder in light. Just enough coverage and looks good all day.

It would be my foundation cocktail, one pump of Chanel Water Fresh Tint in Light, one pump of Chanel Complexion Touch in B10 and about 2 drops of Chanel Camelia No1 in shade B10. The Water Fresh is very light coverage, like practically nothing but I like the finish of it. The Complexion Touch is just slightly more coverage and I can get by with that if I am not wearing much other makeup. If I am going to put on an eye look or a statement lipstick, I will add the No1 for a touch of extra coverage. I have also used the No1 just as a concealer. Because of the increase in under eye lines my usual concealers seem to settle more easily regardless of what I have tried. I have tried primers, powder, etcetera. I still want to try the Sisley concealer but it is so freaking expensive and if it doesn’t work it would be a waste. When I go to Spokane to pick my daughter up from the airport for Christmas, I will go to Nordstrom’s and get a sample. They recently added Sisley, La Mer, Tom Ford and Charlotte Tilbury to the counters at the Spokane Nordstrom. Spokane is really coming up in the world!
