We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Because I needed to walk over to the corner Walgreens near my apartment complex, I did a fairly minimal, and very simple purple/mauve look. Threw on a few shades from Huda Beauty Pretty Grunge palette, a lavender tinged midtone matte to push back my puffy hooded lids, used the deepest purple matte to line my upper and lower lashlines, some mascara, Fenty Cool Berry Cheeks Out blush, and Tower 28 Seseme lipgloss.
I can’t even remember but it probably included MAC Hushabye blush, Craving or Smashbox Legendary lipstick and something a bit shimmery but light (like UD House Targaryen on my lids with Sephora Cappuccino to line.
I used Viseart Petits Fours Violetta to do a smokey eye with Zeasee Shine Diamond Washable Colored Mascara
in Wisteria Flower as a base and mascara. Verrerie over the smudged out base on the lid, Couperin in the crease, the mascara heavily smudged out on the bottom lid, and Châtelet lining the bottom lash line.
I also used Couperin lightly as my blush. On my lips was Haus Labs La Riot Lip Gloss in Ethereal.
I was wearing Viseart’s PETITS FOURS – LILAS over the holiday so it was probably a look with that palette! Tiramisu in the crease, Lilas on the lid, Argentée on the outer lid over Lilas, and Fondant from the mid lid (over Lilas) to the inner corner. And of course an eyeliner and probably Coola Liplux in Summer Crush.
MAC Studio Fix Powder/ Foundation, MAC Naturally Flawless blush, NYX Madeline Butter Gloss to go to Pahrump to pickup a puppy.
A pretty basic neutral look using the Lancôme Classic Neutrals palette. (Check it out @KinomiyaMichiru on IG.)
Usual foundation cocktail of Chanel Water Fresh Tint, Complexion Touch and No1. Blush was Chanel Fantaisie de Chanel with a very simple eye look using the little Inglot three shadow pans. The colors are a gradient of browns and I used the more cool toned one. I used the Flower Knows Face Sculpting Palette from their Chocolate Factory collection. I used the matte cream color all over the lid before I apply shadows and I used the shimmer shade to highlight the inner corner and followed with MAC Matte Stack mascara. For my lips I used Sisley Rouge Rio which is a great sort of berry/red shade. All set in place with MAC Fix *.
I mixed a drop of Clarions oleo serum foundation into my Elf Halo Glow liquid filter
and Flower Beauty Heatwave Luminous bronzer ..in “Sunswept”
a simple eye with Hourglass blaze Scattered Light and a winged eyeliner ..mascara ….
and Hermes “Piment” lippie…
I was at the end of the flu so my look consisted of Vaseline on my lips and the tip of my nose to combat the dryness from constant applications of I Need a Tissue. My fragrance of choice was Vicks Vapour rub with lavender.
BRAVO!
*chef’s kiss*
Glad it sounds like you’re feeling better! 🙂
A pretty wild combo of Pat McGrath’s Chartreuse Liquid Eye Shadow, her 5-pan “Nightshade” or something and the duo chrome from Natasha Denona’s Mini Pastel, with a lot of khôl in the upper waterline, and Pat McGrath’s Rouge 8.
My little brother, me, and my dog were the only ones who saw it, lmao.
Natasha Denona My Dream Palette. Wore Unity in the crease. Vision on the eyelid. Instinct as a liner. Turned out pretty nice!
I went all out with my final makeup look for 2023, as we were going out for dinner with some friends to a very smart restaurant.
Face: Primer, IT Cosmetics CC Cream in Fair Porcelain, By Terry – Terrybly Densiliss Blush in Beach Bomb (which looks quite vivid, but with a light hand it turns out to be more of a subtle rose shade) and Mecca Cosmetica’s Setting Powder in Light
Eyeshadows: A combination from Pat McGrath’s Sublime Bronze Ambitiion palette and the Platinize Bronze one -Platinize for the brow bone shade, Gold Rush on the lower eyelid, Bronze Struck next to the lashline and Copperized in the crease.
Lipstick: YSL’s Desert Sun
It all felt very glamourous.
We stayed in for the NYE but it was NYE nonetheless, so it had to be sparkly with a red lip! I used
– Pat Macgrath Eye Ecstasy: Sublime 5-pan palette, which I hardly ever use
– Mixed a couple shades from the NARS Overlust Cheek palette
– Guerlain Terracotta Skin stick highligter
– Charlotte Tilbury Walk of a star lipstick – this may be the most flattering red lipstick I have ever owned!
And my usual Shiseido Syncroskin foundation, CT Legendary Lashes mascara, PML concealer & undereye powder. Can’t remember which powder I used but either Suqqu loose powder or one of the powders from the Hourglass Elephant palette.
We went to a football game during the day so it was simple – Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer, Pat McGrath Labs FetishEyes shadow in divine champagne, Lancome gel liner in Parisian Night, Pat McGrath Divine Rose blush, Fresh lip balm in ruby. The makeup was off and the night cream was on well before midnight 🙂
