I did a bronzed peach eye with Apricot from SG and some Colourpop shades, Wake Up Call as the transition, West Star in the crease and Moscow Mule blended into the outer V with Linda Hallberg Spahr eyeliner.
Cheeks were SG Summer Love with Sun Kissed Peach over the top (if you LOVE a gleamy golden coral cheek, check those two out because they are absolutely killer!) and Colourpop Cami lipstick.

One I did just a few days ago surprised me by how much I loved it! It wasn’t a dramatic look that I did, so that in itself made it even more interesting that I loved it so much on myself. Because it’s usually my more borderline editorial or artsy looks that I go gaga for. I will likely write up the deets in the question section of “Week In Review” (I think that’s what it’s called?) a little bit later today.

It has been a hot minute since I have done a look that I really love. In thinking back, the first look that comes to mind was using the Marc Jacobs See-Quins. I had purchased all of the shades for myself and then 4 shades for my daughter. I used the darkest shade, Glam Noir, and hadn’t really loved it. I watched Karima McKimmie do a look featuring 3 of the shadows and commented on her video that I couldn’t get my Glam Noir to look anything like her look. She recommended I try it over a dark base so I used it with NYX Jumbo Crayon in Black Bean. It made all the difference in the world. I put a soft grey above the crease for a transition and a deeper grey above. Both were from the Pony Glam palette. When I added the Glam Noir to it it was gorgeous. I used an almost navy blue liner on my lower lash line and that was the eyes. They were stunning. A little too intense for Montana but I loved it. I used a neutral blush sparingly on the cheeks. Can’t remember which one and then dabbed a little Lipstick Queen Private Party on my lips. I would have gone with a nude if I could find a nude that I liked on me but Private Party is my favorite pink and by dabbing with my finger I got very nice shade.

That sounds amazing!

I don’t wear blue eyeshadow at all but a navy liner is incredibly underrated, IMHO. I bet you looked gorgeous! 😀

I also loved that Chanel Quintessence eye look too. Very inspiring.
I actually have been loving a few eye looks I have done lately. Yesterday I used City Colour’s Cleo (a bronze metallic shade) on my lids, with bareMinerals Mysterious Sky on the lower lid and the peachy shade wash over the top.

I agree, Christine! When I saw this look on you, i had to flip through the pics several times! Very sultry! It was the burnished sienna color on the lower lid that made this look really stand out. I don’t have the Chanel palette, however I’m sure I have some dupes that I can use to try and recreate the look you did.

I’m doing back-to-back international work trips, and in an attempt to lighten the carry-on load I decided on only one eye palette, nothing too funky or sparkly, to match with my simple travel wardrobe . I pulled out UD Naked 3, which I bought a couple years ago and used (sadly) once, maybe twice.
I tried a pinky-mauve eye just before leaving and I really loved the look with Bite Beauty Cava Liquified Lip. I’m back on the bandwagon with both of them now.

I just made two looks this week with Pat McGrath Mothership Subliminal and ABH Prism that I liked a lot even though a little dramatic for a work look. These two palettes seem work well for me together, but then the Subliminal palette is muted compared to the other original ones, so it works well with a number of other palettes. Slowly, it’s growing on me. 😉
