I actually really loved what I put on today: MAC Marque Ultimate Lipstick topped with some of the Mariah Carey Butterfly Bling Lipglass! They go together beautifully. And despite it being a nude lip, it had some real life to it!
Previous to this combo was TF Seadragon topped with a bit of Sephora’s DC’d Cherry Blossom Lip Gel (clear pink). That looked SMOKIN’!

My go-to fall/winter lip pairing is MAC “Nightmoth” lip liner and By Terry “Perfume of His Gaze” lipstick. It is really more a sheer but is not listed as a shear. I love the pairing and wear them a lot. As I have mentioned, I have gone through 4 “Nightmoth” lip liners as I like it used alone with a balm, also.

Anna, oh thank you, you are right. I was watching a YT video and they were talking about products from By Terry and I must have mixed the two. I love “Perfume of His Gaze” and use it often with other lipsticks, lip liners and alone. Plus, I love the name! Thank you for correcting my blunder, LOL.

Thanks for the reminder to do this. Got gobs of liners and glosses that I practically never use at this point. Been on a clear, if any liner, and cream l/S…and a heavy concentration of CP mattes. Yesterday, Mink did not come off with a swipe of remover and a bath! There are so many nice combos. Thanks for the reminder on Diego DP, as well. It’s available in a little boutique south of here, that’s fun to visit.

NYX Pin-Up Pout in Revolution & Rimmel Exaggerate Full Colour Lip Pencil in Ravish.

The NYX lippie is an extremely close dupe of a Shiseido GWP-exclusive mini I’ve been spending the last 15 years or so trying to replace, so accidentally stumbling upon it (especially in such a picked over display at ULTA) was such a pleasant surprise!

It really is. It was one of the four duos that Bite released for the holidays, and I believe it fully sold out while the others didn’t. Hoping that Bite will do Rose Gold on permanent basis.

NYX lip pencil in Nude + KVD Alchemist pink opal + YSL Volupte Tint-in-Oil Cherry My Cherie. Loving the process of discovering the new color combos created when layering KVD Alchemist shades with my existing lip stash!!

I actually don’t combine lip products a lot however recently I did. I have Too Faced liquid lipstick in Evil Twin that I LOVE but it can wear off in the center of my lips so I have a mini KVD studded lipstick in Homegirl which is pretty much a dupe and I use that in the center because doubling up the evil twin can be a bit tacky in the center only for me.

I tend to use dupe colors of lip products if I do combine for the same purpose I listed with the Evil Twin.

I was given a fushia lipstick and it was very bold. I didn’t want to waste it so used a NYX brown liquid suede I received in a monthly box order. The color was beautiful. They don’t make the fushia lip color any more. ?

Well this week I’m loving Tom Ford foil,Spanish Flame,Venus Rising, Creme Conque.Along with Charlotte Tilbury Kissing Valentine. Topped with Dior addict fluid in Kiss me. Loving it so far. Did love the new Bite gold flecked, but it was very drying.

Jouer long wear lip creme in Dulce de Leche and NYX Butter Gloss in Tiramisu. Perfect color match and adds just a touch of shine since I’m not a huge fan of matte lip products.

Just today I decided to go a little lighter than I usually do because my eye look turned out a bit more than what I had intended. Turned out I really liked it.
Charlotte Tilbury lip liner in pillow talk used to completely fill in (and extend the color) and topped with Tarte’s Park Avenue Princess lipstick.

My faves lately have been ColorPop’s lip pencil in Ellarie with NYX soft matte lip cream in Copenhagen and ColorPop lip pencil in Pitch with NYX butter gloss in Praline!

WetnWild matte Cherry Picking! And old simple Vaseline on top! I always chaotic or any other moisturizing stick under then the lipstick and no lip chafing ever. Also wear a touch of Vaseline before going to sleep! Love all their colors!
