Today (well, now it’s yesterday) I did UD Backfire with UD Ether on top. I put Kat Von D Tijuana in the outer corner and smudged that into the pink mixture on the lid. Came out fantastic! A pinky-smokey eye! Loved it. Those UD Moonspoon shadows are fantastic!!!
That sounds really pretty Lizzi, I have UD Backfire and Ether on my wishlist. I love the UD Ether 24/7 eyeliner pencil on the lower lash line, it’s become my favorite!
Colour Pop Coconut (middle & outer lid), Colour Pop Sugar (inner lid). Really made my brown eyes pop! I was NEVER into teal shadow before, I blame Temptalia of course 😉
i’ve been loving 2 combos!
maybelline color tattoo on the shade ‘bad to the bronze’ al over my lid with eyeliner (ideal when you’re on a hurry) (sometimes paired with a crease shadow if i have more time to add some depth)
and ud tease on my crease and bootycall on my lid, using mac painterly paint pot as a primer with winged eyeliner.
simple and neutral but effective.
I literally do your second look almost weekly. Love that combination!
Oddly, a relatively simple look for me! MUFE ME512 inner corner, MAC Soft Brown for transition, Orb on browbone, MAC Electric Cool e/s in Super Watt on lid blended upwards into bottom of Soft Brown, MUFE D652 in the outer v and worked inward on crease, MAC Siahi (its a 2 coater) for outer part of cat-eye, with Nyx Azure Slide-on pencil used for inner liner top (very thinly on top as I have very little visible lid!) and bottom, the two liners “cooperated” nicely with eachother, which was a pleasant and pretty surprise!
Benefit’s Pinky Swear as an all-over base. The middle color from YSL’s 5 Colour Harmony #2 (Indian Pink palette) to highlight the brow. Yaby’s Geranium on the the lid. UD’s Last Call on outer lid and blended into Geranium and 3/4 way into the crease. Fyrinnae’s Crimson Ghost on inner corner and blended into Geranium. Tarte’s Natural Beauty on lower lid. Tarte’s Don’t Stand Black to line upper lashline. Lancome’s Rouge Cabaret on an angled brush and lightly smudged on lower lashline.
Inglot 397, 434, and 420. This combination is an excellent dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury Uptown Girl palette; in fact, I like it even better!
I really liked the look I did yesterday. It made my eyes look so bright green. I used: UD Walk of Shame as base/transition shade, UD Flash on mobile lid and bottom lid, UD Tornado in the crease with Freedom Makeup’s mono eyeshadow in Brights 226 (matte neon medium pink) blended on top, a little Tarte Fashionista blended into the outer corner, and Notoriously Morbid Divination Blush in Osteomancy on my browbone and around the tear duct.
I finished up with UD 24/7 eyeliner pencil in Tornado winged waaay out on my top lid and slightly smudged on the bottom lashline. I used UD Glide-On Shadow Pencil in Sin on my lower waterline. Finally, one coat of Tarte Lights, Camera, Flashes mascara followed by one coat of Almay Intense I-Color Volume Mascara in Plum.
Lorac Pro Palette 2 “Nectar” and “Cool Grey”
Simple & sweet!
Also, this is so random but I had NO idea you were from the South Bay?!? That’s awesome! 🙂
This has been my Lorac Pro 2 week (I rotate palettes weekly) and pretty much everyday I’ve worn Cool Grey in the crease with Nector as a transition shade. I love that combo! But, then I’ve been alternating what’s on the lid.
Wearing two shades from my beloved Smashbox Cherry Smoke palette today and I quite like it, it’s a pinky copper with maroon brown combo.
Nars Andromeda on most of the “mobile lid” with MAC Silver Dawn on the outer third and into the outer crease. Seems an odd combo but it worked nicely and wasn’t overly dark. I used Sephora Malted Milkshake to fade up toward my brow bone and MAC Blanc Type to highlight. Both are “matte” (Luster Matte for the Sephora shade and Matte2 for MAC) as there was already enough shimmer going on.
MAC’s Rule in the inner third, Retrospeck in the middle of lid, Lucky Green in the outer corner, and Texture in the crease. Really pretty on blue eyes!
I did this look yesterday using the plums and browns in the Lorac Heartbreaker Palette and it turned out to look even better in person than it did in the video. I substituted the black liquid liner with Sephora’s My Boyfriend’s Blue Jeans and I thought it turned out very nice. This was my first time using a Two Faced Melted lipstick (fig) and I must say, I am very impressed with this product! I got several compliments at work with this look.

I love any combination using the Naked 3 palette. It’s become my most reached for palette since I bought it.
I used the Batalash for Saucebox palette this morning. I have the bright green on my lid, the matte brown in the crease, the purple in the outer corner darkened with the black. This is way out of my comfort zone, but I love it.
1.Tom Ford cream colour in Spice all over lid and blended into and slightly above crease. I also carried the cream colour around outer corner and along lower lash line with a soft pencil brush (mine is thick and can handle a wider cut of colour)
2. Colour Pop shadow in Kindness from the metamorphosis quad patted and tapped onto inner third to half of eye over the cream shadow.
3. Colour Pop shadow in Bravery also from metamorphosis quad in outer vee.
I didn’t wear liner, left it very casual with just mascara and a bit of tighlining on upper for a bit more definition.
Kindness is such awesome sparkly goodness.
I can’t remember the last eyeshadow combo I’ve worn, it’s been so long! I do remember using Tarte Kim’s Porcelain Doll as my inner corner highlight and loved it. For the life of me I can’t remember anything else!
Lately I’ve been skipping eyeshadow on my lids and using Mac Claire de Lune e/s as my face highlight and loving it 🙂
MAC Extra Dimention Silver Sun, MUFE eyeshadows in S560,M630,D416 and MAC Black Ivy Eye Liner!
Earlier this week I did a copper eye look using the Too Faced Semi Sweet Chocolate bar palette and Milani bella copper on the lid, with the Sephora waterproof liner in cocoa shimmer. I got complimented that it really made my eyes look really blue, which was nice and great to see some color theory in action!
Stila Cloud allover lid, UD Basics I to blend and for crease + darkening outer corner. Laura Mercier kohl eye pencil in Antique Jade, Dior Waterproof Diorshow Blackout.
Two days go I broke out my trusty ol’ MAC Print (medium-dark cool gray) and UD Skimp (shimmery light beige). It’s so simple I hesitate to even call it a combo but it blended well and looked great. I used Skimp on the lid and spent a lot of time building up and blending out Print to get seamless variation of depth. I could have thrown black in too–UD Crave from Naked Basics is my favorite–but it wasn’t necessary because Print can do so much alone.
For a flashy COMBO combo I really liked Sugarpill Magentric (metallic purple-magenta), MAC Coppering (gorgeous coppery orange), MAC Free to Be (slightly washed out coral), and UD Midnight Cowboy Rides Again. It’s a lot of look! haha.I did it as a slightly halo-ish placement with Magentric in the middle, Free to be around the edges and heavier on the crease, Coboy in the tear duct, and Free to be blended out from the crease.
Today I’m using the new MUFE neutral palette: I528 Pearl for the inner corner and browbone, a matte MAC for transition, ME512 Golden Beige for the middle lid, and I544 Pink Granite for the outer corner. I used Buck from the UD Naked 1 palette for the crease (my go to neutral crease color) and MAC Rich Ground Fluidline on the top lid only.
Currently enjoying Laura Mercier’s Caviar Stick in Amethyst topped with Givenchy’s Cozy Camel e/s.
Last weekend I went to a friend’s wedding shower/ bachelorette party & wore MAC paint pot in Vintage Selection, blended out a bit with UD Naked Basics (Venus is one of my fave brow bone highlight shades), and used a sample sized Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper (I’m going to buy the full-size when I run out!). Very neutral but I love the sparkle of Vintage Selection! 🙂
Makeup Geek foiled eyeshadow in Grandstand all over the lid, with Anastasia Beverly Hills eyeshadow in Dusty Rose in the crease. Grandstand is everything!
I wore MAC’s saddle as a transition color, then placed brown script directly under it in the outer v and bring it into the crease to warm the transition. Then used colourpop birthday girl and lovely on the lid. Neutral sparkle 🙂
I love neutral eye looks and I’ve been loving a warm peachy look lately…. MAC Ricepaper inner corner and brow bone (very lightly) Arena all over the lid and Texture in the crease and lower lash line, Teddy to line upper lash line and Power surge for lower water line.
the batalash palette from saucebox…so love that palette! start off with the matte browns & white for transitions, coppery brown in the crease, yellow color on the lid, copper brown mixed with black to darken the outer V…sorry dont know the names lol but that palette is so nice! also mix the yellow & blue together to make a nice green color
I love MAC Patina and Charcoal Brown combo for daytime and MAC Idol Eyes and Coquette for Evening
Cream part of Tom Ford Midnight Sea, Laura Mercier African Violet on top, Mac Haux in the crease, Mac Malt for blending. Mix of Blanc Type and Brule on the brow bone and blending again. Chanel la ligne de Chanel (noir et marine) cake eyeliner, black part, as eyeliner.
Yesterday I used my Charlotte Tilbury’s the Rebel quad – the darker green on my lower lid, with the highlighter shade in the corner, I used the light green in my crease. Coupled with Clinique’s mascara and brow pencil. It looked really good.
It’s pretty simple, but it’s a great, fresh summer go-to look that I’ve been wearing a ton! I just take whatever bronzer I used on my face and blend it all over the crease as you would a transition shade. I then take ColourPop Animal (which I’ve learned is not eye safe – whoops!) and pop it on the lower half of the lid like a thick stripe, leaving the area just under the crease bare. I find if I take Animal all the way up to my crease, it’s too much color. This way, when my eyes are open, it looks like it’s the whole lid, but when I close my eyes it’s just a pop of color. This works with a bunch of my other CP eyeshadows, really anything light and bold (Snapdragon, Cowboy, In a Pickle).
Something a bit “heavier” that I’m sure I’ll be wearing all the time in the fall is when I take MUG Latte and sweep it all over as a transition shade. I then take MAC Sumptuous Olive all over the lid. I then use MUG Cocoa Bear in the outer corner and concentrated in the outer 1/3 of the crease. I find that the red tones in Cocoa Bear makes the green and gold shades in Sumptuous Olive look even richer. I want to try this look with adding UD Mildew eyeliner in the inner corner or waterline for some lighter tones.
I did a beautiful combo on a client. I used primer potion, UD naked all over lid and crease transition color. I used UD buck in the crease, along with Mac Contrast on the outer corner, Mac naked pigment on the inner lid. Smoked out Liner on the eyes with UD gun metal(?) added some falsies. She’s a nc40 skin tone and we used the slightest touch of Nars orgasm blush.
My favorite combo since April has been the Pixi by Petra “fairy dust” eye shadow in Brightening Bare. It has a warmer undertone that truly compliments any eye color. I dust this shade all over my lid with a fluffy brush and then I deepen the crease with The Balm’s “Nude dude palette” in the shade flirty. Both are shimmery but give such a nice wash of color to the eye!
For work: A simple Colourpop eye look with Bill on the lid, Girl Crush in the crease, and a dab of Onai in the inner corner. Some lightly-smudgy, soft neutral brown pencil liner on the upper and lower lash line, and Maybelline’s Full & Soft mascara. Colourpop’s Between the Sheets on my cheeks, and Topanga on my lips… I sure felt pretty! 🙂
L’Oreal Infallible in Sultry Smoke all over blended out with MAC Fashion Fix. I tightline and waterline with NARS Via Veneto and then use Maybelline The Rocket mascara. It’s a cool, smokey grey/brown look.
Frequently use e/s duo by Victoria’s Secret Sparkle and Shine duo. It’s a rose gold and brown.
I like to pare it with Dallas blush from Benefit and nice n teasy l/s which is mauve .
I was inspired by a you tube tutorial !!!
it was one of the last eyeshadow sets IT Cosmetics had in one of its gift sets. It was ivory, pink and brown, and surprisingly they did well together. it is something that i will use again. sometimes you just never know about those things.
A brown smokey eye all from the LORAC Pro Palette: Espresso all over the lid, Sable and Mauve blended in the crease, Taupe as a transition color along the brow bone, and Champagne as a brow highlight.
When EDC was here in Las Vegas recently, they wanted us at work to wear bright/bold makeup. Since I can’t apply a lot bright eyeshadow without looking like a four year old who found mom’s makeup, I used them as liners instead. I loved how it turned out and I think they made my eyes really pop!
