Clinique’s Dramatically Different Lipstick in Canoodle. I bought it because I like the retro packaging, which I know is a silly reason to buy a beauty product, but it turns out that I absolutely love the shade and formula of this lipstick. It is now my favorite MLBB.

MAC Blot Powder. I am quite picky with powders, I always use them, but I want something that sets make-up well without being too powdery or cakey, but not lightweight; and I hate loose powder. I expected a MAC powder to be OK, but the Blot Powder is one of the best I ever tried. I even “repurchased” (actually received it for free with my last order, but I bought other needed products just to get it free 😅 ), as I hit pan on my current one. It keeps my makeup set all day, even when I go outside for a walk in the California sun. If I have to put a mask over makeup it makes it rub foundation off less. And it doesn’t look powdery or cakey.

CColor Cosmetics Feverish Palette! A friend gave me this palette as a gift a few months ago. It’s a copycat of ABH Sultry. The quality and pigmentation are fantastic! Seriously cannot tell that this is a mock-up, it applies like all my other high ranking ABH eyeshadow palettes do. I truly wasn’t expecting that!

My answer is the Fenty blushes also. I was not intending to try them as my previous purchases from Fenty had been pretty poor, the holiday collection last year or the year before, so wasn’t going to make that mistake again. After the reviews started coming in and they were good, I decided to take a chance and then promptly went back and picked up three more. Really nice, natural blush look and easy to work with considering I don’t use a lot of cream products. Warning: First touching your finger to the colour it looks scary. It is so bright and pigmented. However, the blend out so well and are sheer so it looks like a very natural sunkissed/flushed look. Don’t be intimidated by the first look as I almost was, LOL!!

By Terry Brightening CC Palette. I bought it because I liked the packaging and rose imprint on the powders, which was a bad idea. It was pretty heavily scented but this has faded a lot after I opened it. The powders have a slight sheen to them, which I like, and the bronzer shade is not too orange. Both blushes are more on the sheer side, which is a good deal for me since I will over apply if not very careful, and I am not a fan of heavy blush. The shades seem to go with most everything so I’m happy with it.

Fenty Beauty Sun Stalk’r powder bronzers. The color match is great. I’m not sure if it’s a better powder formula or just the color match makes it look like it blends like a dream but I really like this formula. Might be my new HG. I have Shady Biz and Private Island.

Also Fenty Beauty Pro Filter Amplifying Eye Primer – It takes very little and you get so much product! I bought this because I wanted a back up to MAC’s Prep and Prime 24 hour Extend Eye Primer and this does just as good a job. I like that it has the doe foot applicator also and one dab does both eyes.

I was at Marshalls the other week. First time since everything opened up and picked up the Lorac Desert Sunset palette. I passed on these when they initially came out bc I couldn’t decide on one and then told myself I didn’t need them lol but since it’s at Marshalls I thought what the heck. Boy I was blown away by the quality. Very pigmented, blends so easily and no fallout. The color scheme is unique to my collection. Something very rainbow sherbert with a pop of blue about it which is so perfect for Summer. It truly rivals anything I’ve recently purchased from PML and in many ways is so much better imo. Cannot put it down!

And it’s a deluxe sample but I’ve been using the Dior Backstage Primer. I’m not usually a face primer fan but this primer is so nice. My face feels so soft and it doesn’t get oliy and sticky like with a lot of primers under my foundation. I’m afraid to find out the price of it bc I’m sure it’s insanely expensive but consider me intrigued!

A couple of beauty products – CP’s Foolish lipstick – this shade works with just about everything I wear and lasts for a long time on my lips. It’s also very hydrating too.
Another big surprise was Maybelline’s Burgundy Bar palette. Usually – in fact always, I dislike DS eyeshadow palettes, but this one is quite different. The formula is a hybrid cream/powder. The neutral shades are soft champagne and goldy shades, the taupes are fairly cool toned and the rhaspberry shades are actually quite lovely.

After your reviews of the MJ eyeliners Olive You and Pewter Please the eyeliner addiction that I can’t shake took over and they popped into my cart and arrived yesterday. They are exquisite. I will be ordering the other two as they are LE and I need them “for my health and well being.”

Same. I was not expecting the Fenty Blushes to work so well on my oily skin, but they totally dry down and hold up throughout the day. The sheer and buildable shades are perfect for my pale complexion.
