Actually, there are plenty that gave me medium yen, and could be resisted. The one that took great strength was the SG EL light palette. Deep/either/or would be terrific. Not sure that bundle can stay backburnered.

I really want to get the Wayne Goss lipsticks (like most of them) and a couple of the glosses. But, I am waiting for my income to return to normal before buying any more color cosmetics. It was not easy, but I managed to talk myself into waiting.

The fact that I’m not into glosses and cream shiny finishes helped me resist… but the second he comes with a matte or satin lipstick, the temptation will be high. 😆

The Natasha Denona Love palette. Love the packaging. Really drawn to the red eye shadows but I don’t like purple. About half of this palette I wouldn’t use. I’m not here for buying a palette for one or two shades esp at the price!

The Fenty Cheeks Out blushes. I want like four of them but it would cost almost $90 and I have a really functional blush collection already. I love that they’re permanent so I can wait and see.

Same boat here, Blue! It’s too bad I really love my current blushes because that Rosé Latte is whispering sweet nothings in my ear…

Anytime I see a UD or ABH palette on sale. I love the look of the palettes but I buy them only to give them away. I have all that I want from brands I actually like, anyway.

Sooo many! But the one that stands out the most for me has to be the entire MAC x Selena La Reina collection. I did want to buy it all, but I had just moved across town, and the funds just weren’t where they needed to be in order to justify going big like that. So I did purchase 4 pieces from the collection, and I am pretty satisfied with my decision to take it on a lesser scale.

I didn’t have any major temptations, but there are some things that caught my eyes, but I won’t purchase anytime soon:
* Hourglass Veil Eye Primer (because I love the face primer so much, but I don’t need one soon)
* Drunk Elephant body care line (but I have my very comfortable routine with old favorites from Paula’s Choice, and I still have a backstock; I wanted to try the deodorant, but I like my Schimdt’s one and I prefer not to experiment)
* anything hair care, like the Ouai Hair Oil and different Kerastase hair serum (let’s be honest, I have two and it takes me ages to use hair oil /serums)
* new SPF release, especially from Supergoop (they launched many new items) and the Coola Full Spectrum 360° Refreshing Water Mist Organic Face Sunscreen SPF 18 (I always like products that help me layers SPF, although SPF 18 is too low)… although there is no such thing as too much SPF

The Urban Decay Naked Honey Palette that was just 50% off. Those mustard colors are my jam! Every time I thought about purchasing, I tried to recreate close looks with my singles and other palettes.

Marc Jacobs lipsticks that are half off on Sephora right now. I got So Sofia, which is so unique in my collection and looks lovely on. Also, the Lime Crime palettes that are on sale on their site; the greyscale one keeps calling to me, but I think I probably have a ton of similar shades.

I started to buy the new Norvina eye shadow palette. It looks pretty and I really like the other Norvina palettes I own. But I thought I should wait for the reviews first. Now I need to save my coins for PMG’s new release.

What was last product that tempted you (but you resisted)? Great question! We should totally ask this every quarter–it felt good to think about how I resisted temptation and seeing that I’m not alone when reading the comments. But to answer–this shelter in place situation has really messed with me! I will shop online for DAYS doing the following: put products in my wishlist–find dupes–putting the dupes on my wishlist too–play and blend around with my existing collection to create the dupe–and then waste more time resisting an actual transaction. Gone are the days where I just walk into a store and swatch as I please.

I have been much better about resisting sales unless I have something I NEED right away and can usually resist products if I can dupe it or if the product itself is somehow unreasonable for my particular situation (i.e., too high cost for occasional wear or my current no-income situation, or a glossy lip color when we’ll be masking into the next year.)

Colourpop: this brand is hardest for me to resist bc I tend to like the value, quality and packaging. I actually regret resisting the sale–now nearly everything is out of stock. Roosevelt Blush Stix, City of Stars lip crayon, Enchanted Mirror powder blush, stick foundation, a few lip pencils, etc.

Natasha Denona Safari Palette: I’ve resisted so far bc of the price (50% off is still asking for a lot), controversial shadow naming, and that I can dupe over nearly 3/4 of the palette. It would be nice to finally try out the ND shadow formula and to have a premade palette of colorful mattes–but I can’t justify it when I can just as easily track down the missing dupes and just put together a similar color story from my existing collection.

Sydney Grace Enduring Love Palette and eyeshadow singles. I’ve resisted bc it doesn’t fit my current aesthetic and I could only see frequent use for about a quarter of the shades. I might feel different as I may be tempted to wear heavier eye looks during this masking period.

Marc Jacobs Le Marc Lip Cremes: On sale but was able to resist a handful of colors bc I’ve read that this formula is drying–which my lips are susceptible to.

Wayne Goss Lipsticks: The prices on these are surprisingly reasonable. I’m waiting for these to come up more on reviews so I can better narrow down on selection. All the colors I’m interested in are sold out anyway.

Sailor Moon x Colourpop eyeshadow palette just because I’m a sucker for nostalgia and packaging. In the end, I wouldn’t use half those colors, though. I felt the same way about the My Little Pony collaboration. I wish they made cute packaging with more “adult” colors sometimes. It’s hard to find really cleverly branded items that are of good quality and not gimmicky, imo.

Fenty Cheeks Out Bronzer in Amber. I almost bought it during the Sephora Rouge sale. I think it might make a really good contour shade for me, but I bought backups of Sephora Tranquil when it was discontinued, plus I bought an L.A. Girl blush shade that should work. I can’t justify buying a pricey product that may not work out because it’s a cream.

I think the last beauty product I really liked and considered getting is the CT The Rebel (2020)/Green Lights quad. It’s also difficult to get here at the moment. There’s a Sephora lipstick Autumn Blaze? that I am looking at too.

Chantecaille’s Hummingbird Collection–the packaging is SOOO Beautiful and I’ve heard great things about the translucent powder but $80 for a powder??!! I had to resist!

Nothing makeup related at all! Just not feeling it. The only thing I’ve been buying lately are health related or food.

I really want the Fireberry shade of Clinique’s Pop Splash gloss, because in high school I wore and liked the same shade in the previous Glosswear formula. It’s not a resistance so much as a delay in purchase because, due to the pandemic, I don’t have a steady enough income to really buy anything right now (furlough). I still want it, so I put it in my Sephora basket to make sure I remember to get it when I can buy again.

For me its more that i am resisting overstocking on things that I already have amd love. Like why so i need another shower gel? I could last 10 years w what i have ? Mayb its the pandemic and its bringing out my hoarding ???? Some hoard TP i hoard eyeshadow ??!
I resisted a few things during Sephora sale but also caved on a few the last day (fenty blush). I did resist some hair items and im glad i did because of the ulta event that just startes.

I wanted to try a latex polish barrier (e.g. Liquid Palisade, Simply Peel) but then I realized that eyelash glue is way cheaper and more accessible.

Everything lately from PMG Labs. ;). And a few of ND’s last palettes. And the one that REALLY almost had me, Fenty’s latest liners, blushes and bronzers!
