What setting powder did you used to love but no longer does it for you?

I used to use Make Up For Ever HD Powder but prefer Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder overlal. That’s probably the powder I’ve used the most over time!

Wow… i went from the ben nye banana to the rcma translucent, always had some mac- tried NARs – then bought MUFE – then Laura mercier which I really loved snd might get another one in the Ulta sale- i bought huda which is a seriously great powder but not for under eyes- once i bought PMG i use it lightly and really love it- to the point were i bought 4 colors! The darkest i use as a bronzer and the lightest for under eyes- i have a dior powder and its so light but i love that one too… seems like powders have really evolved over the years

I am not particularly loyal to a setting powder – I did try the Laura Mercier setting powder but was disappointed in the amount of product that you got in the pan and it was soo expensive here – $57.
I am currently using Model and Co’s setting powder, but I think I would try another brand – it’s OK but not great.

Although I still love it, I haven’t reached for the Hourglass Veil powder in over a year since rediscovering the Givenchy Prisme Libre powder. The HG Veil was always a tad too yellow for my very fair skintone but Givenchy’s Moussaline Pastel is perfect and I’ll often just use concealer and this powder as my base.

Back in the day, Covergirl Clean Fresh powder was my thang. Then when I learned more (& could afford more) I moved on to loving Dermablend loose setting powder. Nowadays, I go b/t 3…depending on my skin’s hormonal mood & ever changing combo state. They are Clinique superpowder double face (compact), Hourglass Ambient lighting & Nars translucent setting powder.

I used to be very oily and wore MAC Studio Fix + Foundation–that sucker was heee-avy. Now my skin is dry and I use By Terry hyaluronic powder or LM translucent setting powder, I want to try the LM brightening powder soon too.
