Elizabeth and James dry shampoo (it’s NEVER in stock anymore at big S..ugh.. any feedback on Amika dry shampoo?)
Hitting pan on Hourglass ambient lights in Mood Light. A product I use all the time so will replace
I love Amika, but it is so expensive and I don’t think it lasts very long. When I was using it regularly (3-5x a week because I like to use it to volumize even after I have clean hair) I think I got maybe 4 weeks of use for the big can? Smells great and works great so if you have the budget for it I think it is one of the best ones out there.
Thanks, Lauren! I seem to go through the Elizabeth and James ultra quickly too. I also use for volume and styling. The few DS brands I’ve tried haven’t compared.
Usually I run through skincare like nobodies business:
– Origins Checks & Balances Face Wash
– Make Up For Ever Sens’eyes Eye Makeup Remover (I have backups upon backups – only remover I can use on my eyes and makes waterproof removal so easy)
– Ole Henriksen Uplifting Transformation Eye Cream
– Fourth Ray Skin Hero Face Oil
– First Aid Beauty Skin Lab Retinol Serum
But there are some makeup items I go through:
– NYX Micro Brow Pencil or ABH Brow Wiz (I go back and forth depending on my budget and any sales going on)
– Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Foundation
– Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Loose Powder (travel size always in my purse that gets used up usually every 6 or so months)
– Urban Decay Naked Skin Color Correcting Serum in Peach (this is what I use for concealer)
– Lancome Monsieur Big Waterproof Mascara
Most of the rest of my makeup is interchangeable or lasts forever because I have a lot of options. The above are my constant loves so I always have them on hand and always tend to gravitate towards using them vs any other products I may have.
Aveeno brightening scrub, Garnier SkinActive face gel, Jack Black lip balm, CoverGirl LashBlast Volume waterproof mascara; eyebrow pencils in general—I haven’t repurchased any because I keep trying & using up different ones

Come to think of it, the “Q-Tips” I mentioned are not actually made by Q-Tips brand. They’re called Dual-Tip Applicators and they’re made by Studio Beauty.

@Christine – I’m not sure if you’re read about it, but people claim that the Green Clean cleanser that you like actually has microplastic in it. Just thought I’d let you know in case you wanted to take a look into it.
Glad to see someone else splurges regularly on the Micro Dermabrasion… I feel slightly better for spending $41 on a scrub. 😆
I finish products regularly, but I rarely re-purchase the same item. My mantra is to have only one item opened at a time (except color), use it until finished or toss it pass expiration date. There are some products I finish faster than others…
Skincare:
– I finish make-up remover and cleansers on a regular basis, but the most re-purchased is Clinique Take The Day Off Balm and Bioderma micellar water… I think I used gallons of them in time
– Paula’s Choice 2% BHA gel; I tried other BHAs, they work, but I don’t like lotion or liquid texture for BHA (I don’t know why), so I always get back to the gel
– Paula’s Choice Eye Cream/Gel, because I get minis so often with purchases I rarely need to buy an eye cream
– Paula’s Choice Body Lotions with BHA and AHA, I actually rotate between them
– La Roche-Possay SPF lotions, everything from the Anthelios range without fragrance and alcohol; it’s my `when in doubt` SPF option; most of their face SPFs make amazing face primers
– Kiehl’s Epidermal Re-Texturizing Micro-Dermabrasion; I like a good scrub twice a week… I hate paying $41 for a scrub, but I never found something better and as efficient
Make-up:
– Any skinny brow pencil, I finished several Anastasia Brow Wiz and Benefit ones. But nowadays I prefer the tear drop shaped ones (like the Hourglass and Benefit Goof Proof); it’s faster to build my brows and they take longer to use (I can finish the Benefit Precisely in 1-2 months, but my last Goof Proof lasted me more than half a year).
– Benefit Gimme Brow, aka the first brow product I have used… like 10 years ago??? Re-purchased it many times, hate the new wand silver packaging (still missing the old look), tried many other good ones, still the best.
– Estee Lauder Double Wear Makeup… need I say more?
Others:
– Shiseido Cotton Pads; expensive, but the best in the world; probably won’t re-purchase in the future as I want to switch to re-usable cotton pads to reduce the waste.
– Klorane dry shampoo, the Nettle one. I like that Klorane is now at Sephora, missed the brand when moving from US to Europe; but the version in European pharmacies/drugstore is definitely slightly better
– Paula’s Choice Hair Conditioner… because it’s the only hair conditioner I know without fragrance
There’s a brand called Honest Company that makes a fragrance-free conditioner as well. It’s available at Target
I’m also always on the lookout for fragrance-free haircare, and I’ve been pretty pleased with this conditioner so far
I just bought reusable pads but when I go on vacation I will be taking my Shisedo ones with me I think. I also use up lots of products but I rarely buy the same things as I want to try new products.

I constantly replace cleanser, micellar water, sun screen and moisturizer but I am not loyal to any brand. Same for makeup although I am thinking of buying KGD Aqua foundation for the second time.
Mascara, black gel eyeliner (which Essence just recently DC’d! ?), Smashbox Fishnet Always On Eye Pencil for tightline, MAC Prep & Prime Lips, Maybelline Fit Me concealer, Lancome or MAC foundation, Lumene bb cream, Nyx Waterproof e/s primer, and all my skincare items.
I feel like my favorite go-tos have been DC’d left and right the last 2-3 years, regardless of brand. It’s so frustrating!

Cosrx low pH cleanser, AHA/BHA toner, Differin by night, FAB eye duty triple remedy, and Paula Resist S-LDWD are always replaced and backed up, even when I had to alter the routine radically from anti-aging/anti-acne to anti-inflammatory. Cosrx Calming Liquid Mild and Purito Centella Green Level Calming Toner (more essence like in texture)) are making the grade amongst newer anti-inflammatory products.
