We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

I have two wishes….I love a nude lip on some people, but on me with fair- pink based complection with light blond hair I just look washed out…would love to find an actual nude lipstick that would be flattering…Second, years ago I had a lipstick that was a very dark brownish burgandy with a very fine gold pearl (very find glitter)…have never been able to find a dupe and I will never stop searching!

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I have all the shades I want! I had been on a hunt for my perfect MLBB ever since Laura Mercier discontinued the shade Discretion about 10-ish years ago, and along the way I’ve collected dozens of nude shades, from drugstore to high-end. But I finally found my absolute perfect MLBB shade four months ago: Chanel Intemporelle. Shade, formula, packaging…perfect!

I am still on the hunt for a MLBB shade. My lips are fairly pigmented, although not unnaturally so. The shade is a bit weird though, not really pink/red/skin tone so I have been looking for awhile. I have a couple that are relatively close but I keep thinking that there must be a better one out there. I do feel that part of my difficulty in finding the perfect one is that I naturally gravitate to cooler undertones lips and yet my actual lip color may be more neutral or maybe even warmer toned, although I don’t see it.
I love the sound of your lipstick hunt, Christine. That would be a marvelous color. I am headed to Denver the first weekend in November to see Adam Lambert and Queen so I plan on visiting the Nordstroms there and see if they have any of the new holiday releases. I want to see them in person and there were few actually out when I was in Seattle.

Still desperately trying to replace my favorite MAC lipstick of all time, Naked Paris. Per your review it is a warm plum. I find it to be a semi opaque plum that truly straddles the line between plum and brick red with rainbow microglitter.
I hope someone will make something similar. MAC Oh Oh Oh is close, but it lacks the glitter. I have to layer products to get this and I don’t love the Lustre formula as it dries out my lips. So I want it in a Satin or Amplified cream finish.
