Definitely something that has a moderate glow but a finer pearl/shimmer to it!

I like something cool toned, without glitter bits in it and something that looks natural or can be buffed out to look natural and more subtle. That’s what I’ve liked about the Dior and the discontinued UD highlighters – they can be applied to be more obvious or buffed out for a glow that looks like it comes from me.
For me, the higher the shine, the lighter the hand. I tend to avoid all out metallic. Latest craze: the new PMG holiday highlighter is boss, and gorgeously embossed, in terms of finish and colour.
I like a shimmer that isn’t feisty and doesn’t have chunky glitter.
Shimmery without large glitter particles. Something medium glowy. I want it to show up but not turn into a see from space when my oils break through.
What I look for and love are the ones that give me that lit from within or glassy effect. No glitter or anything chunky. Just pure glow!
I’m not a big fan of classic highlighing products, I prefer something with the smallest amount of pearl (I dislike most shimmers on me). I look more for illuminating / sculpting products, not for the glow.
I prefer shimmer that makes me “glow from within” in a natural way.
I think a fine pearl finish would be perfect as some highlighters either are a glitter bomb or end up making you look like you’ve run a marathon in 40 deg C heat….
Personally I don’t like highlighters as I prefer a matte finish to my cheeks.
I look for a lit from within glow, no glitter, just a subtle glow.
