Makeup Geek’s Spell Bound. I didn’t think I will use it as much as I am now when I first bought it, but it is what I reach for the most! Such a universal shade.

L’Oreàl True Match C3 Tender Rose. I’ve hit major pan, so although I don’t absolutely love it, I just really want to finish it off. I *may* repurchase, if I catch a great deal, as it is a very easy to wear shade.

Heather Avatar

Now I mostly use Laura Geller Apricot Berry, since it works with pretty much anything I wear (on face or body–it’s a versatile blend).

Jacqueline Avatar

Love Glow is on my list too! I love the formula and how beautifully the blush blends into the skin. I decided to go with Love is the Drug first because I wanted the more intense glow.

Gillian Avatar

It was always MAC Moon River and then MAC Dainty but I’ve been trying to use more of my blushes lately. However, my most used ones are my Prescriptives Illuminator (so old!), MAC Blonde MSF and Makeup Geek Head Over Heels. I suppose the first two aren’t technically blushes so I guess that the Makeup Geek blush is my most used!

Of all time, bareMinerals All-Over Face Color in Rose Radiance. For about a decade, when I was busy raising kids and broke, it was pretty much the only one I used. It’s great for fair skin. I always use it on my cheeks, bridge of nose, along the hairline, and on my chin for a super-natural, healthy glow that I didn’t have in real life. I always get compliments when I use it. I still use it frequently, especially as the weather gets warmer and I wear less makeup.

Currently, I’d say my most used are Milani Rose Petal Blush in Coral Cove, Tarte Exposed, Tarte Celebrated, Too Faced Baby Love, UD Bittersweet, the Tarte Pin-Up palette, and Hush topped with OC from the UD Gwen Stefani Blush Palette.

CP Rain is on dry side and has cooler, blue undertones, but shows up fine because I’m lighter skinned. Lorac Ultra Violet is pretty close to CP Rain, but better quality. UD Bittersweet has an awesome formula, it’s a little warmer, but if have darker skin, the difference between all 3 might be slight. I like all 3 but UD Bittersweet’s my fave.

Lesley Avatar

I was a little intimidated by the Gwen blush palette when I opened it up after ordering it online. I’m going to try that combination, Rachel!

Anne Avatar

Yep, definitely more peachy/coral hued. If you want one that’s more pink though, I’d recommend Luminous Flush. They’re both in the blush palette (along with the plummy Mood Exposure) and both are gorgeous, though I think I reach for Incandescent Electra more. It was actually an exclusive to the palette for a while, but I think one of the reasons they made it permanent was because it got such good reviews. But yeah, Hourglass blushes are definitely some of my absolute favorites, and worth the investment (though I wish they weren’t so darn pricey!)

Just stopping by to say Hi and tht I love your blog. Your reviews are awesome, and I really love your dupe lists and swatches. It’s really helpful! I also love how everyone can vote on the similarity of two dupes. I don’t follow many blogs, but your is awesome. I can tell you put a great amount of time, your own money, and effort into this! Unlike some random people out there these days just looking for a promo and free stuff! Lol I don’t usually trust blogger/vloggers because they get so much stuff for free or do “promo” videos, which are basically ads. Your blog seems very honest and I love that! I trust your information. I also love your aqua liner looks. I’ve been trying out a some different brands/shades of mint/teal pigments and shadows to find ones I like for summer! Keep doing you! You are beautiful! Xo

Too Faced Love Flush Blush in Baby Love is my favorite blush for daytime, workplace-appropriate makeup. I have medium skin with yellow undertones. When I use this color with a little contour, it makes my cheeks look pretty and not too matte.

Laura Avatar

Hello Waffle’s Blush Honey or Sweet Tea for matte warm/neutral, Snow Castle for fairy princess magic. Most mainstream pressed products eventually clog up my cheeks, but I’m okay with it because I adore my indies!

Cory Avatar

Do you buy Illamasqua from their site or are they carried by a department store? I know they have their own boutiques, but nowhere near where I live… I swear Sephora used to carry them but that was before I got as deep into makeup as I am now lol

Another Deb Avatar

I buy from their online store. They had a sale right after Christmas and I couldn’t resist. It takes a little longer than Sephora, but it’s worth the wait, especially if you catch a sale. 🙂

Another Deb Avatar

Sadly no, they don’t, and Illamasqua makes such gorgeous, funky makeup. I’m so tempted by their new Beyond Powder highlighters.

Cory Avatar

I know, I saw! I wish I lived by a boutique or wherever their main store is. & I love Sephora, but I nvr realized how much they up-charged products until recently. I always thought it was them who dropped the brands for various reasons, but it might be the other way around for some of the brands…

Chacha Avatar

I loooooooove so so so much this community questions! lol i can answer like yesterday about the lipsticks! So i think the most used its CHANEL JOUES CONTRASTE IN ULTRA ROSE and a one that i want to use a lot because i fall in love about this colour just now (even if i have this palette more than 1 year) ENRAPTURE BLUSH FROM NARS – NARSISSIST PALETTE
🙂

Debbie Avatar

Currently it’s NYC Cheek Glow Powder Blush in Staten Island Sand. I bought it a couple years ago out of desperation because I just moved and did not unpack my blushes, but did not want to spend much. Now I am at pan and it is almost finished. Not a bad color, and on me it lasts all day.

Jessica Avatar

Nars Taos! Ugh! Beautiful blush. My local Sephora is always out of it. I finally got my hands on it about 3 weeks and bee obsessed ever since!

Cory Avatar

Nars Orgasm. I can’t get over it. It’s so perfectly “neutral-ish” that it goes w/whatever eye look I come up with on any given day.
I’m also partial to the Tarte 12-hour formula, which I use when I don’t want the golden-shimmer that comes along w/Orgasm. I believe the one I’ve been using is Blissful.

Cory Avatar

Idk that shade…is it Nars? I was literally just about to buy MUG Bliss like 3min ago tho & the name is close lol! She has it on sale for some reason so it’s only $5. I got Spellbound instead.. I was going to get them both bc I’m dying to try a warmer blush to see what it looks like, & $5 for MUG is half price…
Oh well. Here’s to hoping she doesn’t discontinue it ?

Tapnfeet99 Avatar

Nars’ Mata Hari. Love it! Most gorgeous color that ever lived!
If I’m going more purple, then it’s Urban Decay Bittersweet.

BareMinerals’ Golden Gate from The Royal Court (LE). So wearable and is buildable if I need to. At the moment I’m using a lot of Paul & Joe’s Creamy Cheek Colour in L 001 (from the Carnaval Spring collection). It’s very pigmented so I only need to use a tiny amount, and it’s a lovely peachy pinky coraly colour perfect for spring.

Cory Avatar

Ooh they’re selling that Golden Gate blush right now as part of a promo “In the event of..”, I believe? That may just be a name in the email though.
It looks amazing. I had a bad shipping experience w/Bare Escentuals, so I’m leery when it comes to ordering from them online.
* they did have a link to QVC however, & QVC does good ship 😉

Claire L Avatar

Oooh, I did a Google and it’s available as a single on the Bare Minerals site too! So happy to see it’s available as a single (albeit loose powder blush) and not just LE! Thanks for letting me know ?.

My “everyday” blush that I reach for the most is UD Score or Benefit Bella Bamba, depending on my eye look. When I’m going out, I always seem to reach for Hourglass Ambient Luminous Flush. I have a variety of blushes in my collection, but those are the ones I keep going back to and they get the most love.

Jessica Avatar

I’m also finished with MAC Well Dressed! I’ve been working on this for years but consistently the past year. I have maybe a few more weeks left of it and I’m done! I hate pink blushes now lol

LaMaitresse Avatar

I’m loving By Terry Platonic Blonde, but for the longest time it was either Ford’s Love Lust or Dolce and Gabbana’s Delight. I go for a very soft cheek, defined with a bit of contour, I have cheekbones, so it depends whether it suits the occasion to contour. I like a soft blush because my look is generally strong eyes, soft lip, and I’ve also never been confident enough with my skin to go daring with unique colours.

Lee Avatar

MAC Peaches and Cream from the Sharon Osborne collection. It’s such a perfect shade of pink for me, I hope it gets reissued sometime so I can get a back-up.

V Avatar

Easy, bareMinerals aphrodisiac (serious pan) and NYX mocha. But lately I love the cover girl true blend in the mauve shade it has a hint of illumination.

Leah Avatar

Nars Dolce Vita, a little goes a long way so it takes forever to hit pan. Love Orgasm as well but I prefer a little more colour pay off.

Chris Avatar

When you get old as me, you see trends come and go. I actually went for years without using any blush. Just got back into it within the last few years. I had zero blush (and lets not mention highlight and contour, which is totally new to me) So I set out to buying several palettes. The one I reach for most is the Nars Steven Kline from the last holiday collection. I like that this palette is subtle. Never get clown face. I dipped my brush j that UD Gwen palette and wowza, enough color for several faces. So yeah, Nars for me.

Kate Avatar

For more than 16 years I exclusively used Chanel Joues Contraste Golden Sun. It looks just like my natural flush. I love it. Lately I’ve been testing out others, just to see what I’ve been missing, and I’m loving my Hourglass luminous blush palette. It’s so different than what I’m used to seeing on my face, so it’s a nice change.

Nora Avatar

Right now, for powder blush days, Tom Ford Frantic Pink is my go-to. On cream blush days, I’ve been reaching for my Nars cream stick in South Beach, with Copacabana as a highlighter – beautiful combo 🙂

Ruth Avatar

I just got Raqueteur by benefit and I am in love. It’s a Woodrose tone with just the right amount of sheen. It looks one step up from natural. It stays on all day.

VAL MARTIN Avatar

I do try to keep rotating them but as they are new I’ve been using the UD Gwen Stefani palette a lot and use Easy a lot. I have hit pan on Benefit Dallas so am using that more in a bid to use that up.

Jenny Callahan Avatar

I’ve been wearing Colour pop’s Butterfly Beach everyday since i bought it. Holy Grail blushes are basically every Laura Gellar blush, but especially Pink Grapefruit and my no brainer blush Tarte Exposed.

Brittney Avatar

Either MAC at dusk or Amber glow, Tarte celebrated, Nars sex appeal, or urban decay x rated or kinky. I feel like I have a ton of blush and have several others that I like but these are definitely my most used.

Meredith Avatar

By Terry powder blush in Pink. It is gorgeous, not too dark or light, not too blue or peach, and gives your skin a glow from within that is really nice on older, sun damaged skin that doesn’t reflect light like young skin does. Also, Edward Bess powder blush in “Filled with Desire”. This is a peachy pink or warm pink that you can tweak either way with your lip color. Both have a lit from within glow, but very subtle so there is no glitter or shine. I don’t know how they do it but it’s done softly so it’s flattering, not garish or obvious. Both are very flattering on light to medium skin, super for Spring and Summer or anytime you want a fresh, young but sophisticated look.

Melissa Avatar

I guess in my last comment I should have included my favs. All time favs are NARS Deep Throat and Final Cut; MAC Peaches and Pink Swoon; Milani Luminoso. Currently I’m using mostly Neutrogena Healthy Skin Blushes in Rosy and Bronzed.

Sophie Avatar

I got the nicest pink blush ever a few years back as a gift in the Smashbox ‘Burlesque’ movie. It was really hot pink with a very light shimmer through it. I have searched high and low since then(6yrs+ ago), and the closest I’ve found was Sephoras brand blusher, I think the shade was called ‘pop’ or something, but it doesn’t exist now by the looks of things. I’m currently using Stilas ‘custom colour self adjusting’ pink blush which rocks. Still dream about that damn Smashbox one though! ?
