Sunday is usually the one day, if I let myself at all, that I can have a little fun and don’t quite worry about testing 100% of what I put on my face. I usually go for something fairly neutral!

Total minimalist – my Saturday look is usually just pressed powder and some kind of lip, either gloss or a soft lipstick. Sometimes if I get ambitious I’ll do powder foundation first, or a bit of blush. Sunday I work so if I have time I do tinted moisturizer, blush, powder, and lips. If I don’t, it’s just tinted lip balm or lip gloss.

On a related note – looking for suggestions for good fall glosses, things with more pigment or oomph than subtle, sheer glosses for spring and summer. Preferably non-sticky, so I’ll pass on the lipglass *g*

I’d recommend Barry M lip gloss in No2 Toffee. Is a nice browny nude on the lips, not sticky or annoying, and tastes like toffee. Really great all year round but the slight brown tone makes it really fall appropriate. Also, Revlon Colorburst in Rosepearl (014) is really pretty pinky/rose-gold shade. Again, not sticky so very wearable.

I actually *wear* makeup on the weekend, LOL. I’m a stay-at-home mom, so during the week, I wake up at 6, get my daughter up at 7, get her fed & dressed, then walk her to school at 8. Then I come home, shower, eat, and get to work on things at home, run errands, come home, and pick up my daughter at 2. It just seems pointless at times to bother with makeup. I do throw on SPF & lip balm in the morning (then reapply after a shower), and maybe a powder & eyebrows.

I have more “me” time on the weekend, so I tend to do a bit more. When I was working, it was the opposite; I rarely ever put anything more than SPF & lip balm on if I had nothing to do.

I love experimenting with brighter colours and more shimmery textures on weekends because during the week I keep my look really conservative and office-appropriate. I’ve really enjoyed bright cream blushes like Nars’ ‘Cactus Flower’ lately.

It depends on what I’m doing that weekend. If it’s a work weekend, then it’s my default: tinted moisturizer on the face (or bare skin), a touch of blush on the cheeks, black liquid liner on the upper lash line, mascara, and whatever lip shade I grab on the way out the door. Off weekends, I can wear whatever I want, so I tend to go more dramatic, and my poor, underused collection of bold eyeshadows gets some face time. 😛

It depends what I’m doing on the weekend. If I’m running errands and meeting friends or family, it’s usually tinted moisturizer/BB cream, brown pencil eyeliner, mascara, blush and gloss or sheer lipstick. (That’s my go-to, fuss free look regardless of the day of the week/season/etc.) If I’m too tired or had a late night, I’ll go bare-faced or just slap on some TM and mascara.

Weekend day and weekend “going out” are quite different but for daytime, most days, if I’m running errands, shopping, etc. it’s Marcelle SPF BB cream, a bit of concealer, some Painterly on my lids, lip gloss, Clarins Eclat Minute blush and a bit of liner. Evenings out, heck, anything goes (ditto if I’m going out during the day with my husband or with friends for lunch or something)

My weekend makeup usually consists of a bit more makeup than during the week. I’m an RN and I have to be up by 5:30am…usually home by 8:30pm…so I fill in my brows and wear mascara to work…and that’s it’s. But on the weekends I like to use a sheer liquid or powder foundation, bronzer, highlight, blush, neutral smokey eye (I’ve been loving quarry all over the lid with copperplate in the crease and soft brown to blend out the lines)…then I fill in my brows with my Anastasia Brow Whiz (HG product for me) and use some MAC brow set. I slap on whatever mascara I grab (either cover girl lash blast or Maybelline full n soft or diorshow…)…then lip balm (:

I love to try and utilize products I haven’t used in a while on days off and weekends…

Weekends are no different than weekdays for us being self-employed so I do not have a routine. Typically, I go without makeup at least 2 or 3 times a week just for a break or because I’m not feeling it.

I usually go one day a during the weekend without makeup. That’s the day that I deep clean my brushes. On the other day, it depends on if I’m doing anything. If I’m going out with my husband or friends, I’ll put a lot of extra work into my makeup. Here’s how my “going-out” face differs from my regular weekday face:

Eyes:I’ll usually wear a color in my crease, eyeliner, and a brow highlighter. I’ll fill in my brows. On a weekday I usually just wear one shade of shadow and sometimes eyeliner.

Face: I usually wear MUFE HD if I’m going out. I’ll also usually a highlighter and concealer. On a weekday I wear mineral powder makeup and blush only.

Lips: I’ll usually use a lipstick instead of a lipgloss. I might even use lip liner.

If I’m not going out, I keep my makeup really basic for errands: Mineral foundation, blush, lipgloss, and mascara.

If I go out at night, I usually do a full face incl. foundation, one to three eye shadows, liner, lipstick, rouge.

I usually try out new looks or color combination, but sometime I only wear mascara or nothing at all.

If I’m just taking it easy at home (my favorite kind of weekend!) then I wear almost nothing. Maybe a little concealer on any blemishes, a lip gloss, and powder to fill in my brows a bit.

If I’m going out shopping or with friends, then I definitely make sure to break out the bolder colors that I can’t wear at work during the week. Case in point: I wore MAC’s cult of cherry lipglass to a friend’s wedding yesterday, and it was awesome!

my weekends are actually when i work. it varies with products. my basic look is a warm taupe in the crease and a dark brown in the outer v. and basic black liner. no flick. lately its just been nyx taupe blusher in my crease and a drugstore brown in the outer v. all the makeup i have and im using the cheapest eyeshadow i own… and my fav crease color isnt even an eyeshadow! oh but my favorite lid color is booty call by urban decay. omg. i think the pink tone in it contrasts the yellow in my skintone and really brightens things up. nyx perfect on lips and i just grab a random blush. today im wearing nars orgasm.

Weekend makeup is the same as all the other days of the week. Which is lip liner to shape and correct my lips, then lipstick (either Mac or Chanel). I always wear full coverage lipsticks in medium to bold shades, never vampy though. Lately I use Chanel rouge Coco in Gardenia or Mac Speak louder. After that I use concelear and Helena Rubinstein mascara lash queen feline extravaganza. I never wear any fundation or powder, nothing like that. I may soon purchase my first blush though, maybe 🙂

I´m never without make up on my eyes, only when i´m sleep. If i stay at home on sunday, it could be i wear no eyeliner, sometimes. 🙂 I mostly don´t wear foundation, just when i go out a little bit loose powder, so my skin don´t need a day off.

It usually doesn’t change from weekdays to weekends. I still do full-face, and I still do everything from crazy colors, to simple smokey eyes. Sometimes I’ll experiment with different things, like different cat eyes and makeup that I forget to use during the week. (:

It depends on what I am wearing or doing. Saturdays , if I am not volunteering, I am usually chilling. So , I dont wear makeup then. Sundays, however, I go to church and work( I work for a major retailer), so I usually do something to my face. So today , I have on a brown shade from Inglot, mascara , black eyeliner , Dior concealer, CG queen collection powder & bronzer.

Depends on what I’m doing. Today, for example, was a quiet day with the family, so I went simple with some tinted moisturizer (Tarte), powder on top (Smashbox Halo), and blush (Mac). I am not wearing any eye makeup at all. Yesterday, we met some family and I had a date, so I wore Estee Lauder Double Wear light foundation, powder, blush, eyeshadow (5 colors from the Naked palette), eyeliner, and mascara. That’s actually my “typical” amount of makeup.

Usually my weekend face is nothing other than moisturizer. If I go to something other than a kids baseball game, I’ll put on whatever I’m in the mood for!

It depends. Usually i wear a light foundation, one eyeshadow all over my lid and another one in the corners and under my eyebrow, lip butter or lip gloss and highlighter on my cheeks. I’m in the army so sometimes even if i’m not going anywhere I’ll put on makeup

It depends on what I doing, if I’m chilling at home then I wont wear make up. If I’m working or out with friends, then it’s the usual: foundation and concealer mix to cover up blemishes, powder and Nars eyeshadow duo like Cordura or Surbaya, mascara, Mac sweet as cocoa or NYX cocoa blush, then Mac Touch lipstick
