We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Foundation, undereye corrector (but usually not concealer), brow gel, blush, highlight, sheer lipstick or gloss, a single shadow (generally a Laura Mercier cream shadow stick or a light-midtone shimmer from PMG or ND, blended out), mascara. If I’m short on time, I ditch the shadow.
Brows, concealer, powder, lip balm, mascara and bronzer. Probably some blush too!
Tinted sunscreen, concealer, brows, one of my bronzer/highlighter compacts, a shimmery bronze eyeshadow, gel liner, mascara, lip balm. I would add mineral foundation if I have a bit more time. I find it is not a product you can apply quickly and have it look good.
Foundation, concealor, powder
Hazy pale brown shadow on upper and lower lash line, sometimes a bronzey shiny topper, mascara, brows
Bronzer, highlighter, blush, and maybe a mlbb lippie
Don’t really stray far from this look day to day. If I am feeling fancy I’d do a liner at the top but that’s not often.
Sunscreen, face & lip primer, brows, one eye shadow all-over & liner, mascara, lipstick that doesn’t need a color liner, face powder, blush. If I have time I’ll put a complimentary deeper shadow in the crease and/or do a cheek highlighter.
Tinted sunscreen instead of foundation, brow gel, 3-4 eyeshadows, mascara, blush, highlight, lip balm.
I usually take one of the following palettes for rapid eye looks: Tartelette In Bloom, ABH Sultry, Soft Glam, KVD Shade and Light or Dose of Colors Iluvsarahii 6pan mini.
15 minutes including skincare or not? 15 minutes including skincare: skincare and sunscreen.
15 minutes post sunscreen: brows, tone up cream, highlighter, and lip gloss.
Including skincare for me would be rough, because I like to wait between layers. 😆 It’s like… I need 10 minutes just for the sunscreen to sink in.
Me too. My skin doesn’t absorb product very well. I blot off excess moisturizer with a sponge. ?
CC Cream, concealer, setting powder
Contour – face and eye crease, blush
Highlight – inner eye, cheek
Mascara, lt – med shimmer on lid , liner ( angled up, outer 1/3)
Lipstick/gloss
I spent more time on skincare rather than cosmetics, however:
– Brows, usually just a tinted brow gel only. I don’t like overly drawn brows
– Mascara
– All over blurring liquid such as Burberry or Becca
– Spot touch any outside redness areas like around nose
– Lipstick/lip tint
Since being at home for the last 4 months (man, it’s been a LONG time), I haven’t worn much makeup and just focused on skincare. When I finally did my face like I did before COVID I was shocked how heavy it looked and felt.
Foundation, brows, tightline upper lashline and line lower lashline, curl lashes, mascara, highlighting blush, bronzer on both cheeks and to define crease, lipstick and/or gloss. If I’m doing good on time, then I’ll also pop on a one & done eyeshadow like MAC Superwatt.
Sunscreen, eye primer, powder foundation or BareMinerals Complexion Rescue, blush, mascara, single shimmery light neutral eyeshadow, mascara, lip color, setting spray. If I have time, brows and highlighter.
Can you apply the bareMinerals with your hands or do you need to use a sponge or brush?
I apply it with my hands.
Foundation, concealer, brows, eyeliner, mascara, lip gloss/stick and I’m good to go!
Everything! A full face never takes me more than 10-15 minutes, with 15 minutes being the upper mark when I do winged eyeliner or a complex eyeshadow look. Otherwise, in 10-12 minutes I am all set with primer, foundation, concealer, powder, blush/bronze/contour, eye shadow + primer, mascara, brow pencil, brow gel and lipstick.
Foundation, concealer, powder, Cupcake from Melt Gemini, mascara, and either blush or bronzer. I always go for Cupcake, even if I’m trying to be adventurous. Fifteen minutes? I need a hero!
On face, using a damp Beauty Blender, YSL Touche Eclat all-in-one glow, followed by a few dabs of Tarte Shape Tape. Then, a bit of Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Ethereal Glow. I put my fav eyeshadow, Chantecaille Luminescent Eyeshadow in Padgolin, lightly all over my lids, curl my lashes and use Winky Lux So Extra mascara. Brows are Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil in Grey (which is a cool ash black). Lips get a swipe of Chanel Rouge Allure Ink in Serenity which gives me hours of a nude pouty pink lip.
Primer for face, eyes and under eye. Some foundation etc. powder bronzer on face and eyes, blush and mascara and gloss or balm.
Prolly takes more than 15 min but I don’t have any certain time I have to be at work most of the time.
No point in lip stuff except balm since I wear a mask all day.
I don’t really give myself a particular time limit unless I’m really pressed for time. That said, my quick look is cheek contour, concealer, foundation, blush, 1 shade of eyeshadow, mascara, lipstick.
I only spend about 15-20 minutes putting on my makeup anyway – daily moisturiser, primer, foundation, eyebrow pencil, mascara, lipstick, blush, setting powder and between 2-4 eyeshadows.
My 10 minute ‘everyday’ makeup in order of application-
2 coats mascara
concealer
clear brow gel
BB cream with 50spf
bronzer (applied as eyeshadow & light contour in a 3 shape along sides of face)
blush
Chapstickbrand lip oil in Subtle Pink
kajal eyeliner
I will usually put on a light but luminous base, concealer, glowy blush, lightly filled eyebrows, lots of mascara and, depending on the occasion, a red lip or MLBB gloss.
Ilene- light skin, dark green eyes and dark brown hair
I think my basic routine would clock in around 7-8 mins.
Fill in brows- KA brow pencil
Conceal under eyes, inner corners and sides of nose
Powder hairline, forehead, sides of nose, lids
Mascara- Givenchy phenomen eyes
Cream blush
Touch of bronzer along jawline, under chin and around hairline- TF terra
Tinted balm or sheer lipstick or just balm.
Sometimes I might use a little tinted moisturizer on cheeks and nose.
If I use shadow it’s a pale color on lid and maybe a deeper in crease
That’s it, boring and basic
Assuming the 15 minutes doesn’t include skincare, I’ll use a BB cream or foundation, a dust of bronzer, brow gel, basic eye liner, mascara and lipstick.
Foundation, powder, blush, highlighter + highlighter on the eyelid, blush in the crease + lip balm
