I was wearing Sephora by OPI Rumba Romance with Butter London West End Wonderland on top. But I found out I have a job interview tomorrow so I changed it to Butter London All Hail The Queen. 🙂

First time wearing Zoya’s “Zuza” today and I already got a compliment, lol. It’s pretty true to the way it looks in the bottle, but I will be adding a gloss topcoat to punch up the shine factor.

Just did my mani yesterday 🙂

Two coats of Rescue Beauty Lounge in Black Russian and one coat of China Glaze spectacle on top.

After recently warming up to glitter suspended polishes, I find myself completely smitten! I’ve ordered a number of indie polishes from Crow’s Toes, Girly Bits (Canadian..woohoo), and Enchanted Polish. *Smacks forehead* Why didn’t I try these sooner?

A combination – a dark purple creme with Vegas NIghts (multicolored sparkle) over it. (The purple is an Akzentz gel polish; I believe it’s just called Creamy Purple).

ImPress press-on fake nails surprisingly! o.O I’m currently in the trial period of them for a review and so far I’m liking them (although I’m only about half a day in). They’re this really gorgeous shimmering merlot color.

On my fingers, two things that are due solely to you. 🙂 L’Oreal’s VIP Status with Zoya’s FeiFei on top. Toes: London Butter’s Chancer but I was just about to change it to the new NARS M. Butterfly nail varnish I got. Off to do that now. 🙂

Chanel – Vertigo

The perfect nailpolish for fall, when you dont fell like having a color on your nails, but still want them to be noticable.

Butter London All Hail the Queen. Thought it was going to be sliiiightly more purple than it ended up, but that’s okay. It’s both sparkly AND neutral!

Nothing. Between school and work I haven’t had the energy left over to do my nails lately. OPI Ginger Bells has been sitting on my desk for a few weeks now waiting to be used. :\

Illamasqua Boosh on my ring finger nails and then Illamasqua Creator on all my other nails. I’ve got Models Own Emerald Black on my toes 🙂

On feet ” Plum’s the World ” by Sally Hansen. On my hands, nothing at all, I am currently using the Dior Crème Abricot to strengthen my nails.

Butter London’s Royal Navy, one of my favorites from the line. I layered Deborah Lippmann’s glitter polish in Ray of Light on an accent nail. I can’t stop looking at my nails!! <333

Fingers: OPI Deutsch You Want Me Baby? Very untypical color for me to wear.

Toes: Orly La Vida Loca. Totally not matching my fingernails, lol.

China Glaze Pelican Gray layered with Make A Spectacle (Wicked 2012) on top. It looks awesome!

I’m still not a fan of full-coverage glitters, but layering, gimmie gimmie!

1 coat Pixel – Text-Us with 1 coat Pixel – Oh Golly Gee!! over Text-Us. I was too lazy to take it off and since it had chipped and I broke 2 nails that I superglued, I just added 1 coat of Spoiled’s – Visually Slimming to the spots that chipped and were glued. Basically it looked like a hot mess. I then cling filmed 1 coat Spoiled’s – I Got So Plastered over it. It looked like a dark and pink-ish cosmos, so I added Wet N Wild – Wild Shine – Kaleidoscope over the entire nail for some sparkle. I got so many compliments on it this morning.

Side note: The Pixel polishes, beautiful colours but small bottles. More like tiny bottles. I got them online through Ulta and they are WAY small, almost like samples. For the price point, I will never buy them again.

OPI Brisbane Bronze on fingers and toes. I got this one in a free mini kit from Ulta several years ago and it’s the first time I’ve used it! It’s like a shimmery (as opposed to metallic) version of MAC Bad Fairy, perfect for fall.

I am wearing essie’s mirathin with essie’s a cut above on the accent nail and i did a french tip with it on the thumb and the pinky finger. 🙂

I have Revlon Colorstay Indigo Night on my finger nails and a classic white french tip on the toe nails. So far, the Revlon varnish is exceeding my expectations.

Bissú nailpolish (the number was rubbed off) but I think is #205 a pretty pink with gold glitter (FYI Bissú cosmetics is a mexican brand with AWESOME quality) and really affordable 🙂

I think it’s bourgois (or something like that) in the colour Lira, it’s easy to apply, dries fast, the colour is a fantastic gold. Then I have just a l’Oreal Paris dark blue colour on top, dotted on in the shape of triangles.

Unfortunately nothing! lol I tend to shy away from wearing polish on my finger nails during the fall and winter months. I think this is mostly due to the fact that I love to wear bright colors, and I do not feel so comfortable wearing bright shades during this time of year. I’m not a fan of deep, dark shades of nail polish at all (with the exception of a nice black). However, I am wearing OPI Nicole Alert on my toes at the moment. Love it!

Love nail polish, esp the blue green duochrome you reviewed today. I however, have paper thin nails that constantly break. They also have vertical creases.
for reasons stated above, I can’t wear nail polish. It chips in less than a day. This happens with all brands & all preps I’ve tried. Had acrylics but can’t afford to maintain them and also had a fungus problem.
The answer to your question is “nothing”.

Ellen Avatar

Try silk wraps, gentler and less chemicals than acrylics but give strength and longevity to brittle nails. I’ve been doing it pretty much nonstop since I began my residency when my hands were in water constantly and my nails were peeling off. Its a lifesaver. Now they have the gel manicure, also supposed to last 2 weeks, may give the same results, I haven’t tried it because I am very happy with my wraps. I can get three weeks out of them if I have to, althoug they don’t look quite fresh after a week and a half. There are options, beauty does not have to be painful!

Kathleen Avatar

I’ve found that the Dior Creme Abricot really does help strengthen my nails. It is a little pricey ($25 at Sephora) but a little goes a long way.
It is a bit sticky, but the product is solid (so it’s not messy) and the container is portable, so keep it in your purse and apply throughout the day.

Fingers: Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear “Plum Power”
Toes: Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure “Shrimply Divine” – such a cute name, but now my toes and fingers are two totally different colors!

Ellen Avatar

The beige color from Chanel’s Fashion Night Out lip and nail duo’s. I only got the nail polish, I think it is called delicatesse. I love it!! Perfect fall color, I have you to thank for letting me know it existed, where to see swatches and give me the courage to order it online sight unseen. Best beauty purchase in a long time!
