Wet 'n' Wild Hummingbird Hype ColorIcon Baked Blush Review, Photos, Swatches
Hummingbird Hype
Wet ‘n’ Wild Hummingbird Hype ColorIcon Baked Blush ($4.99 for 0.19 oz.) is a light-medium, peachy orange with warm undertones and a metallic sheen. It had nearly opaque pigmentation in a single layer that was easily built up to opaque coverage with a second layer. The texture was smooth to the touch, soft and blendable without being powdery, which made it a versatile formula that could be applied with a lighter hand for sheerer coverage or even just buffed out more for less-intense shine. The finish was luminous and didn’t emphasize my skin’s natural texture. This shade stayed on nicely for eight hours before I noticed signs of wear.

Formula Overview
$4.99/0.19 oz. - $26.26 Per Ounce
The formula is described as having a "mesmerizing tropical glow" with "micro-fine pearl pigments" that "blend beautifully onto the skin." The formula has a denser feel to it overall, and whether it was soft and yielding or dry and firmer depended on the shade. It was a fairly pigmented formula that lasted for eight hours on me. Two shades were easy to work with and blend out, but one was more troublesome, so the quality wasn't consistent across the range.

This was the shade I was waiting to read about…I’m so glad it got an A. But will it be available in stores? I can’t find these blushes anywhere in my area.
I got mine on the WNW website. But, I’ve also seen it at CVS and Ulta near me in NJ.
How gorgeous this is! It reminds me of that CP cheek duo I bought a few months ago. It has no name on the packaging, though, and I’ve forgotten what the name is for it? This serves to remind me to write names on CP packaging when they’ve neglected to print one!
Yeah. Hate that. It can drive you nuts, if depotting. Nice to see a fine design on a ds product, too. Very pretty.
I’m loving this as a truly neutral blush for my fairer, yellow and red complexion. They really nailed the blushes and lipglosses in this collection.
Oooh, I like this one!
That’s one gorgeous blush. I hope the brand is bringing out this line in just a peachy coral shade.
Lovely shade. I got my package from WNW today finally. I haven’t had a chance to swatch or use it yet but everything looked lovely in the box. The collection came with 3 blushes, 3 eye shadow palettes, 2 eye liners, 4 lip glosses and a lip scrub. I know that not all of the shades in the eye shadow palettes are going to be great quality but the shades are nice and given the price I will try and make them work. We will see. I love the embossing on the blushes. Quite pretty for a DS brand.
Just loving this edition so pretty! Haven’t worn this shade yet or the eyeliners.
Now if only WnW went back to including great nail polish shades in their LE collections…I miss those days.
