Wet 'n' Wild Halo, Goodbye MegaGlo Liquid Highlighter Review, Photos, Swatches
Halo, Goodbye
Wet ‘n’ Wild Halo, Goodbye MegaGlo Liquid Highlighter ($5.99 for 0.50 oz.) is a light pink with strong, warm undertones and a luminous sheen. It had semi-sheer, buildable pigmentation, which built up to semi-opaque coverage with two to three layers (just make sure to wait for each layer to dry down before building up!).
The liquid highlighter was thin without being too watery or runny, so it could easily be mixed in with other products but worked well patted onto the cheekbones to spot highlight. It spread evenly across the skin and worked well over bare skin as well as on top of foundation as it did not lift up my base as I blended the liquid highlighter out. This shade wore well for eight and a half hours on me.

The formula is supposed to have "buildable" coverage that is "hydrating" and will help "smooth out the skin's texture." The doefoot applicator made it practical to apply the highlighter onto the face for spot highlighting, but for those who prefer to mix a liquid highlighter into other products (like primer, moisturizer, and foundation), it may not be as useful as a dropper, though I think you can get enough product off the doefoot applicator for mixing if desired.
The highlighter was thin enough to feel like a liquid, work for spot highlighting or mixing in with other products, but still had medium pigmentation. It spread beautifully over the skin with a brush or fingertips, though I prefer fingertips when working over a base (like foundation) to gently pat and spread the product and using the edges of my fingertip to diffuse the highlighter. The formula did exceptionally well over foundation and never lifted mine up (and I used some drier, more matte formulas with it). The highlighters lasted between eight and nine hours on me.
I was surprised that the product actually came in a glass bottle, as I would have expected plastic, and in a way, I might have preferred plastic for fear of the glass breaking in a bag, though it's not uncommon for liquid highlighters to come in a glass bottle.

Oh my, but that’s a a pretty one! ?
Seeing that I do own MAC OtherEarthly, and that’s as pale a pinky highlighter as I can feasibly go, I’ll be hitting that this week for some ethereal feeling looks!
