Wet 'n' Wild Fire MegaGlo Highlighting Bar Review & Swatches
Fire
Wet ‘n’ Wild Fire MegaGlo Highlighting Bar ($6.99 for 0.30 oz.) is a light-medium copper with warm, orange undertones and a luminous sheen. The consistency was soft, drier to the touch with some dustiness in the pan, but it applied beautifully to bare skin with even application, good adherence, and diffused with ease along the edges for a seamless glow. The effect was particularly “lit-from-within” (as the brand promised) as the powder seemed to “melt” on my skin. It wore well for eight hours on me before fading slightly.

Formula Overview

The formula is supposed to yield a "lit-from-within glow" that "delivers a strobing effect" with a "super-smooth" texture. All of the shades felt a little dusty, a bit dry, in the pan and by the touch, but they applied beautifully and sat well on my skin--they almost "melted" onto the skin for a very smooth, luminous sheen. The pigmentation ranged from medium to opaque, but the ones that weren't full coverage were buildable. They lasted between seven and eight hours on me.

It’s a gorgeous one, for real! If I didn’t have CP Butterfly Beach and Becca Rose Gold, I would hop on this immediately.
At least you can rock something like this right away then! 😉
I was tempted to pick this one up (even more so now!), but was hesitant about there being glitter. Did you find it to be glittery/shimmery?
It definitely has particles – like it’s not just sheen/ultra-fine shimmer, but I wouldn’t describe it as a glitter finish.
This is a gorgeous little highlighting bar at such a reasonable price. A really pretty shade too.
It was such a beauty!
??? So pretty!
Agreed!
It’s got a really nice tone, very wearable. I always have trouble finding the latest Wet n Wild products locally, for some reason.
I gave up finding them locally and just buy online now!
Same here. They do a lot of Walgreen’s or Walmart exclusives and since Walmart is not allowed in NYC where I live and no Duane Reade (which is Walgreen’s in NYC) has ever has these LE collections, I don’t even look anymore. It’s crazy to me that no Walgreen’s/Duane Reade in NYC is sent special collections!
