My skin tone/coloring: fair, cool
Favorite look you worn: Eyes: ABH Legend with MAC Cork in the upper part of my crease/blending out area, ABH Violetta (from the Mario Palette) to darken crease and outer lid and Benefit High Brow (I’ve not used it in ages) under my brows to lift them; Sephora Cappuccino (again) to line, with ABH Chocolate Titanium shadow pressed over it. Cheeks – again, Dior Rosy Glow blush and lips – it’s been a toss up between Smashbox Red Rage and MAC Pleasant Patentpolish
Most used product of the week: Smashbox Red Rage lipstick and Dior Rosy Glow blush
Any new beauty discoveries: yes, the MAC Patentpolish (I lucked out with the colour; some are almost invisible and I’m not dropping $20 for something invisible unless it’s a lip treatment!) and also Lise Watier Pressed Mineral Powder (just might replace MAC MSF Natural for me)
Hope you got a b/u for Rosy Glow…you’re going to need it!
My skin tone/coloring: Fair with cool undertones
Favorite look you worn: I’ve been loving adding just a warm brown into the crease and keeping it very natural!
Most used product of the week: I don’t know why, but I’ve gravitated towards my Becca Moonstone highlighter, which I usually only wear during the summer!
Any new beauty discoveries: I bought the Laneige Lip Mask during the VIB sale, and I am loving it! It looks so pretty on the lips!
Hi Macy. I bought the Laneige lip mask also. I’ve been putting it on before bed each night and my lips feel awesome in the morning. Love. Love. Love this product. Glad to know someone else is enjoying it too.
My skin tone/coloring: light to medium with warm undertones, MAC NC23 ish
Favorite look you’ve worn: MAC Neutrals x 15 – Wedge in crease and as transition, Saddle in crease, Embark to deepen crease, Wedge/Saddle/Embark under eye, lightest shade from Diane Kendal cream palette, Amber Lights packed on top, MAC Warm Soul blush, NYX Sand Beige Lipliner and Tom Ford Something Wild lipstick.
My “look of the week” started off using the Tom Ford Honeymoon quad and Inhibition blush and morphed into the above. I’m going to try a combination of the 2 and see how Ilike it.
Most used product of the week: All of my staples
Any new beauty discoveries: Not this week!
My skin tone/coloring:
Light neutral
Favorite look you wore:
MAC eyeshadows: Malt as transition, Omega in crease, Satin Taupe on lid. Tarte Amazonian Clay blush in Paaarty. Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Highlighter 01. MAC lipstick in Flat Out Fabulous (mini matte version).
Most used product of the week:
MAC Pro Longwear Nourishing Waterproof Foundation. I don’t love this foundation, but I’m trying to use it up for the Back-to-Mac program.
Any new beauty discoveries:
I got the MAC Stone mini lipstick with the new holiday set. Unfortunately, on its own it makes me look like a corpse. But I discovered that when mixed with Clinique Pop Glaze in Bubblegum (which I had gotten as part of a gift-with-purchase awhile back and also looks terrible on me) it creates a very pretty dusty mauve!!
I meant Quarry, not Omega as crease color.
My skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
Favourite look you worn: Probably today – using the Lorac Pro Metals with the shades Graphite in the crease, Amber shaded lightly above and Cobalt on the lid
Most used product of the week: My La Roche Posay Ultra light SPF 50 as it has been so hot and humid this week.
Any new beauty discoveries: Not this week.
Skintone / coloring : light, MAC NC 20, med brown hair and eyes
Favorite look worn : Too Faced Just Peachy Mattes palette. Wore Peach Tea and Peach Punch in the crease. Peaches in Cream on the eyelid. Wore my Dior Pump n Volume Black Mascara. KVD Mad Max Brown Ink Liner. Wore NARS Orgasm and Madly on the cheeks
Most used products: Dior Pump and Volume Black Mascara. KVD Mad Max Brown Ink Liner. KVD Lock It Translucent Setting Powder. Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation. Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Translucent Pressed Powder. NARS Orgasm Blush. NARS Madly Blush
My skin tone/coloring: medium with yellow to neutral undertones
Favorite look I wore: None. I still am working out how to use the HudaBeauty Mauve Obsessions palette. I think I am going to have to use a more neutral dark brown in my outer vee because all the mauve shades make me look bruised. I need extra under eye concealer as well because the mauve is reflected as redness there and nothing in this palette works under my lower lashes. At least half the shades work so I am not unhappy.
Most used product: I have been working on using up samples so it has been different every day.
New discoveries: Again in the interest of using things up, I have been using CeraVe as the first step of my double cleanse. Rubbed into my dry face, it does a great job of removing everything. I wipe it off with a wet makeup remover cloth and follow with the Neogen green tea stick cleanser and the Clarisonic.
Skin tone: Very pale with cool undertones, MAC NW 5-10
Favorite look: I used Chosungah 22 Luminous Light Blended foundation in Porcelain, thank you again CeeBee! For blush I used the Ciate Glow to Illuminate blush in Summer Love and I used the Just Peachy Matte palette from TF for my eye look. I followed one of the enclosed looks from the palette. I put Peach Meringue over the entire lid lashes to brows. I used Peaches and Crème in the crease and Peach Tart to darken the outer V. I used Colour Pop Supernova Eye Shadow in Hard To Impress over the mobile lid. For mascara I used my Benefit Roller Lash which is a relatively new mascara for me and I am super picky about mascara’s. I am really liking it and only experience transfer to the lower lash line after about 8 hours of wear which for me and not using a waterproof mascara, is impressive. I don’t care for the brush though! Lips were Violet Voss liquid lipstick in Wasted with Elizabeth Arden gloss in Sunset Bronze.
Most used product: Benefit Roller Lash
New beauty discoveries: First would be the Supernova shadows from ColourPop. So far I have been loving them. I picked up all the colors but have only used two of them. I am not getting any fall out and they don’t seem to make my eyelids look quite as textured as other similar products, (not that that would stop me from wearing them!).
I also wanted to mention the J One Jelly Pack that I purchased a while ago and then purchased the mask version during the Sephora sale. I picked up this product after reading Alecto’s review and am not sorry that I did. Thank you so much Alecto as I am really enjoying it and can’t wait to get the mask version, if Sephora ever mails it that is! It is very smoothing to the skin and just tacky enough to work well under makeup. At first I was concerned as it is very thick and does not have the silicone slip that other smoothing products have but it applied very easily and seems to lock moisture in. I am really enjoying using it.
My skin tone/coloring: fair/warm
Favorite look you wore: NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Rust (used as a base for the red shade in the palette), Makeup Revolution New-Trals vs. Neutrals, Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner, Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Paaarty, and Tarte Tarteist Creamy Matte Lip Paint in Birthday Suit.
Most used product of the week: Eh, I was traveling and didn’t use much.
Any new beauty discoveries: Got my deluxe sample Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow in Kitten Karma! It’s so shiny, omg.
