Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

I was really looking forward to the lid pops, so I wish they would have rated higher. How do you pick the top 10 products from the week? There is an F product at number 10, so it was either a really rough week (considering you reviewed 43 items) or the top 10 is based on something other than grade. This reminds me I did not visit much this past week. I have a lot of catching up to do (starting with the Lid Pops).

I will have my developer look into it, but it is automated so there’s no picking on my end – it is picking the 10 highest rated products over the last 7 days, but it does exclude shades that are in palettes that are LE. It will allow permanent shades found in a palette, though (to allow for things like MAC/UD/MUFE that promote permanent shades in palettes). Looking over titles, something doesn’t seem right, because the MAC lipsticks/blushes should really be filling this.

*I swatched Bite Pastille in-store, and yay, it’s a pink that will work on me! I’m cringing though because it’s $24 for half the product of a regular lipstick, but there are no close dupes that are permanent, so I will use my 10% Sephora discount to get it.
*I went to several stores to swatch the Clinique Lid Pops, but they aren’t in stores yet, and what’s even worse, the Clinique SAs had absolutely no idea what they were! I had to explain over and over again that they weren’t lipsticks but shadows for the eyes, and they just gave me a blank look and pointed me to the lipsticks. Uh, do none of them read beauty blogs or look at instagram??
