Completely agree! I never purchased the first because I read Christine’s review and saw the B-. Not spending $80.00 and tax for B- ! Lol! Hopefully this is better but if their recent releases are any indication, I am not holding my breath.

I have Cool Mattes and really enjoy it. Christine’s experience was notably worse than mine, though it’s worth mentioning that I like to build shades fairly slowly and [because I have hooded eyes] rarely put mattes on my lid (which is where she tests her shadows). I don’t think Cool Mattes is quite as good as their other shadows, but they’re generally good version of some very tricky colors to pull off.

I hope Cool Mattes 2 knocks it out of the park, because I think I want it. It would certainly fill a hole in my current eyeshadow repertoire.

I cannot wait to place the order for the new Cool Mattes 2 palette (disappointed that it’s not available to purchase but I did “wish list” it)! I already have Neutral and Warm Mattes. Viseart is probably the only brand that I never hesitate to purchase.

Did not find Cool 1 to be as bad as a B-, maybe because Visearts are generally so good. I have a harder time with the top row of Bridal Satin, which kind of yells FROST! at strangers.. Probably in on 2, as long as it isn’t overly brown, for Beautylish Black Friday. You teach us to plan and save money, so… I think I have enough e/s to last till then (laughing at the absurdity of needing or wanting e/s at all.)

Pooh, I wish they had done this last year before I bought the three 12-pans I have. Oh well, I’m glad to see it. I love the magnetic palettes in my Theory, Petit Pro and Grande Pro I collection.

I really would love to have cool and neutral. I need to stash some money. The magnetic aspect is fun and practical. I have the petits palettes and enjoy moving colors around.

Very keenly interested in seeing how Cool Mattes 2 does. These are the sort of cooler toned shades that I believe I could rock! Those purples, though. Just a little worried considering how much trouble it is for brands to produce really good, smooth, evenly pigmented dusty purple matte shadows. I’m also hoping that those blues are “warm” tinged.

I stupidly wish I didn’t already have warm and neutral mattes palettes so I could have the new packaging lol. I’d love an easier way to depot them – I’m afraid of damaging the shadows. I can’t wait for your review of the new cool mattes!

Waiting for reviews. The Neutral Palette is the most under-used palette in my stash. Cool Mattes and Grande Pro, which I have, can both be a tad dusty. But I make them work and they cover my need for purples, pinks, blues, from this brand. Contrary to what others find, I love Bridal Satin. My favorite Viseart at the moment is the dark green in Absinthe. I can actually use it as a liner and it lasts. If the darker shades in Cool Matte 2 were that strong, I would consider it. Am also looking at Petit Pro 3.

The beauty community is in dire need of a proper cool palette. I love the warm and the neutrals and they are classic and timeless. But oh my god do we need cool palettes to spice up the beauty industry. I really hope the cool mattes 2 will be much better than its predescessor.
