Viseart Neutral Mattes Milieu Palette ($80.00 for 0.84 oz.) is the newest addition to Viseart’s eyeshadow palette range. 11 of the shades are new, with the last shade (the cobalt blue) being a repeat from the Grande Pro Vol. 1. Here are swatches…

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when
a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set
expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up
being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!
Quality looks nice across the board, but it’s one that isn’t doing the same thing as ND Biba did for me upon seeing the swatches. The later is far more cohesive, I think? However, I will reserve my final judgement until your formal review!
so unlike me! but I went ahead and ordered without waiting for you review – I was hesitant but I have 6 of the 12 pan Viseart palettes and they really deliver on my oily skin. I’m hoping they don’t break the good rep streak with me 😉 I was also looking to take advantage of the sale
Can’t say I’m a big fan. A lot of mid tones and several of the browns look similar to me. I would think they wouldn’t show up that much different from each other on the eyes.
I wish the blue and pink shadows weren’t included in this palette, they are really throwing it off for me personally. I really dislike the neutral palette with a pop of blue thing that brands seem to love! I will never ever touch the blue shadow, which seems like a waste.
I think that’s why my two all time favourite neutral palettes are Biba and NARS Skin Deep – no crazy colours, just beautiful neutral shades.
kjh
I won’t say the warm neutral train is leaving the station, but this palette, though gorgeous, is a little late on arrival. Think how terrific it would seem, had it been issued 3+ years ago, before we were swamped with warm neutral palettes. And the neutral with a pop is also already overdone. CP amongst others, as mentioned.
Latte, Sorrel and Nue look very similar swatched – I can’t imagine that they’d look so different on the eye to justify it, but eh maybe.
This actually reminds me a lot of the BH Cosmetics Love in London palette, which is fantastic quality and super affordable, but that of course, has shimmers and metallics included and it runs a lot cooler overall.
I haven’t been super impressed with the last few Viseart purchases I’ve made and I have LiL, so it’s a easy skip for me.
Hmmmm … I like the idea behind this palette, and it would work well for me (precisely because I consider all the non-pop-of-color colors to be warm, and also because I like the idea of a deep blue instead of a dark brown or black), but it has the too-similar shades in spades: Nue and Latte look like the same color swatched. Sorrell’s too close to both of those, and also Platane. It doesn’t need both Platane and Chiffon. I feel like this would be a much better palette if it were the first three colors, plus Groseille, Nue, and the last four colors. Either way, I wouldn’t call it “nude.”
What a shame that the Penombre swatch doesn’t look like it does in the pan! 🙁

It’s pretty, but so so warm (except for the blue)!
The “warm neutral with a pop of blue” thing has been everywhere this year, hasn’t it?
It sure has. Can’t really do the 2 for 1 when this is their belated entry of a second new 12 pan in 2019.
This reminds me of a standard Colourpop palette– warm neutrals with a pop of blue.
I’m glad they did this.
That blue totally throws me off. It makes the palette look cheap IMO.
Interesting, I had the same initial reaction!

This would be a great palette for someone who doesn’t have Viseart Neutral Matte (01) and ABH Modern Renaissance.
“Neutral matte” my butt…. this is absolutely warm-toned.

Omg…Roussillon.. ???
Neutral? Not from where I’m standing! Even if I were inclined to pay $100 (what it’s likely to cost here) for an e/s palette, this wouldn’t be it!

Pretty, but definitely dupable!
