I feel like this was such a missed opportunity to have some amazing green duochromes or to bring back such gorgeous classics as Zodiac. Looking forward to your review.

This is very muted and not very green (which I would expect for a hulk palette). The blue in the first photo shows a half and half shade, but then in the one where it is swatched it is solid. Are they trying to insinuate it is a duochrome or something? The mini palette makes absolutely no sense for this specific collection being that it is only browns. I do think the main palette has a pretty color story (minus the purple and blue thrown in), but I also feel like it might lack some depth with colors being a bit too similar in the swatches. However, these are the pro shots and maybe in real life it will make more sense. I am curious to know if the formula at least has gotten better.

I actually like the larger palette; the smaller one makes no sense at all and would really work better as a collection of blushes. I do think the olive greens are more typical of the hulk, although I’m sad they didn’t do a duochrome. I also think the blue makes sense as a representation of the original Hulk t-shirt. Basically, I find the larger palette compelling but I don’t know if I would pay full price for it. We’ll see what it looks like in person!

I do not understand at all why they made the color choices they did here. Having a mini palette for the collection that doesn’t have a single green in it??? Having 13 shades in the larger palette and only 2 are green?????

I need Marvel to please partner with a different brand. At this point I’d even rather they partner with Colourpop, at least then if the colors have no relevance to the property the collection is for its still inexpensive enough to get if I like the packaging and colors in general.

Yep, Urban Decay manages to miss the mark yet again….apart from the wisdom (or not) of doing a Hulk palette (I generally think that CP is more into these kinds of faddish collabs), but the lack of green shades and perhaps, dubious quality, leaves one in despair…..
