I hope for everybody’s sake that they do this well…!!! ?

On their UK site there is a “sign up for info” page for this collection and it says it is “inspired by our favourite places in Westeros and the strong women of the Seven Kingdoms. From the shores of Dragonstone to the frozen lands beyond the Wall, this collection will let you create looks inspired by House Stark, House Targaryen, House Lannister, and the White Walkers.”

So I guess House Tyrell is out of luck. ???

Other than their strange obsession with prostitution, the only real sex in GoT is incestuous; they’re going to have to work in a whole bunch of non-sex-related references (edgy or otherwise) to make a decent sized collection.

It’s not often that I get excited about themed collections and it’s also not often that I get carried away by series like Game of Thrones but I have had a major crush on Sean Bean (who, as Ned Stark, lost his head in the first season) and that drew me to the series and to the books. And I’m actually interested in seeing what this palette looks like (so long as it’s not going to make me look like one of the White Walkers!)

I missed last year’s Beached collection, and have harbored a mild regret for not getting that palette. Perhaps this will be in same color range, looks to be.

About time! I have been begging UD to make a “Naked Ice” Collection for 2 years! I asked for it to be a cool palette collection for once. Fingers crossed they come through with this mixed fire/ice combo anyway.

I’m “Game”! However, as someone truly sick and tired of warm and orangey-reddish palettes (being a cool winter, I can’t pull off such shades), I truly hope they don’t neglect the “ice” side of fire & ice.

UD gave me my love of makeup years ago but they’ve been a little off lately. I sure hope they do this right. I don’t watch GOT but can totally get behind this collab.

Roma Avatar

Damn it; I’m trying to avoid buying makeup for the year unless it’s to replace something. If the collection is really cool I can see myself breaking. Maybe it will come with the new book /s

Mostly came in here to say that I love Game of Thrones’ music.

Not sure we needed this collab, but … why not … I guess? I have a presentiment I’ll be disappointed by the offerings, but I don’t want to be “one of those people” and get all negative Nancy (apologies to any Nancys in the comments) and tear something down before I even know what it’s about. Soooooo … standing by with neutral curiosity.

This approach for GOT has been done before, not very creative on the brands part. I know GOT is fantasy, but it would have been interesting if they did something kind based on what people actually wore in medieval times (they did wear makeup check out rosalies medieval woman) because thats how the actresses are more or less styled for the show.

Holy shirtballs. TFW my two hyperfocuses/special interests collide. I’ve been slightly dreading/longing for this day (when a brand I super like and have nostalgia over collabs with THE ASOIAF UNIVERSE …but seeing as it’s the last season it’s not a huge surprise) since becoming income-less a couple years ago but I can’t help but be overinvested. TOO MANY FEELINGS.
