Urban Decay Perversion All Night Eyeliner & Perversion Ink for Eyes Reviews, Photos, Swatches

Urban Decay Perversion All Night Eyeliner ($20.00 for 0.01 oz.) is a glossier, deep dark black. See comparison swatches / view dupes. The consistency is creamy enough that it glides evenly and easily across the lash line or lid without tugging or dragging, and it delivers good color payoff in a single stroke. This shade wore well for eight and a half hours before starting to fade/thin.

Urban Decay Perversion Ink for Eyes ($20.00 for 0.02 fl. oz.) is a deep, dark, neutral black with a satiny finish. See comparison swatches / view dupes. It’s easy to maneuver, and you can easily create thin to medium lines depending on whether you use the very tip of the pen or hold it more horizontally for a wider line. The liquid flowed evenly out of the pen, and it never seemed to dry up or require shaking to restart the flow of the eyeliner–and the lines it left were richly pigmented and fully opaque. It dried down fairly quickly, set and stayed in place on me for ten hours. It also removed easily with cleansing oil (I used shu’s).

I was so excited for these reviews. UD 24/7 perversion liner is my holy grail but lately I’ve been feeling it’s not performing like I remember D; and was ready to branch out to another brand. But now..now T_T UD has given me more \o/. I can’t wait to buy these xD

“These are all black, sir.”

“Oh, are they? Or are 2 dark black while 3 are a slightly darker black?”

“And now I’m short a slightly darker black one. Thanks duffel bag.”

All jokes aside, I order Ink for Eyes and the cream liner last week and I’m really looking forward to trying them now. Thanks Christine!

I have to ask… How does the Ink for Eyes compare to the Tom Ford Defining Eyeliner Pen? The TF currently holds my heart, but the payoff of the UD one looks pretty incredible. Did you find the tip easy to maneuver over eyeshadow, between lashes, and in super thin lines/tightlining? I’d be interested to see how the tip holds up over time, as well, since I’ve found similar felt-tip liquid liners to dry out easily. I can’t wait to check these out myself! Thanks for the fabulous post as always!

My current go-to liquid liner is Stila’s Stay All Day. How does UD’s Ink for Eyes pen compare to that one? Or are all these felt tip liners essentially the same?

I swear, I’ve been checking Temptalia every 5 seconds for these reviews! 😀 It was only with great fortitude that I resisted throwing all my money at UD when they announced these new eyeliners!! But NO. I needed to wait for my Trusty Temptalia Review before I committed 😀

I’m so happy these turned out well! I’m definitely keen to get the liquid liner – I love felt tip liquid liners, and even my apparently bottomless Lancome one is nearing its end. So I even have an excuse!

Christine, how does the All Night eyeliner compare with 24/7? Is it worth the purchase if I already have Zero and Perversion in the 24/7 formula? I’ve never found the 24/7 formula to wear the best on my waterline – cream/gel liners last longer by far.

I really love UD liners and when I get the chance I need to get it in perversion. Liquid liner is typically easier for me so I might need the liquid now!! I mean hello easy black cat liner.:)

Can we have a picture of all of the perversion products on the eyes? And maybe with the liquid|gel|cream a wing? I don’t know about anybody else but how an eyeliner wings out is very important to me.

i’m (almost) ashamed to admit i bought all of these new liners… i love them. i’m always between bobbi brown black liners or UD black liners for favorites..

Hi Christine! Thanks for the review. I wish the All Nighter was completely matte. I love liquid liners go on, but they are usually glossy and I don’t like that aspect. I’ve used Perversion pencil almost daily for a few years now and when I saw they were making a twist up eyeliner, I was hoping it would be matte. I like the looks of Black Velvet but again, it’s a pencil that needs sharpening…

Hi Christine! I’m so happy that you reviewed the new eyeliners for UD because I am in need of a new black e/l. I’m not a big fan of the 24/7 eye pencils only because they transfer so easily under my eyes and in the outer corner 🙁 do you think perversion all-nighter would work for me or can you make any recommendations? Thanks!!
