Just finished a Sephora stroll/haul. Hopefully crushed chili, that I could not resist, is not as duped for me as hot harissa. These are the usual bite stellar products. Also got star anise, that is in the cava/Thistle family, but not truly a close dupe for me, maybe 75-80 on cava and 60 on Thistle. So much for the S low buy. Other scores for mentioning on Fri. What surprised me was that zataar, that I thought would be my choice, is actually a very boring brown, at least on my arm, with zero plum (and, boy, do I love a puce/plum-brown.). The lesson of course is, try if at all feasible. Not everything looks like it does on our mentor!
Smoked Za’atar has been on my list of possible wants, but if it’s just brown with no plum, that’s very disappointing. It seemed like a unique shade. Star Anise has also piqued my interest, though I’m worried that it might look too gray on my face (but I do love the name!).
What a stunning shade and I am looking at the dupes for it.
