Skin Tone/Coloring: Light neutral skin tone, green eyes, salt & pepper hair
Favorite look (for a special formal occasion): EYES: Dior Brow Styler, NYX Proof It Waterproof Eyeshadow Primer, Dior Backstage Cool Eye Palette (Ombre and Matte Mauve in crease, Lilac on lid, Matte Pink on brow bone, Plum in outer V), Sephora Colorful Contour Pencil in Black Lace to tightline upper lash line, Chanel Stylo Yeux in Charme smudged lightly on outer lower lash line, Lancôme Definicils Mascara. FACE: Estée Lauder DayWear Moisturizer, Estée Lauder Double Wear Makeup, Tarte Shape Tape Concealer, Laura Mercier Translucent Powder, Chanel Joues Contraste Blush in Pink Explosion, DiorSkin Nude Luminizer in Pink Glow on top of cheekbones, and a very light application of Laura Mercier Baked Bronze 02 to try to slim my face a bit. LIPS: Laura Mercier Velour Lovers Lipstick in Boudoir. I finished the look by brushing Guerlain Meteorites Pearls across my collarbone area.
Most Used Products: ABH Brow Wiz, Estée Lauder Double Wear Makeup, Tarte Shape Tape Concealer, RCMA No Color Powder, Laura Mercier Caviar Stick in Amethyst.
Beauty Discoveries: I’ve been very disappointed with Guerlain Meteorites Pearls since I bought them, but today I discovered how pretty it looks on the collarbone area (after rubbing in some Kiehl’s Creme de Corps). It added a very subtle sparkly glow, which was perfect for a special occasion.
Your skin tone/coloring: NW20-ish neutral/cool dark brown hair blue eyes pigmented lips
Favorite look from the week: Boots No 7 Lift and Luminate Calico, eyes UD Naked OG Sidecar was the main focus (can’t remember the rest) with Maybelline Unstoppable (Espresso) waterline, UD 24/7 Smog Lashline, Maybelline Full and Soft mascara, Maybelline Brow Drama Medium Brown. Sleek blush Rose Gold, Benefit Dandelion Twinkle, Boots No 7 bronzer in Golden Sand, UD Vice Love Drunk.
Your most used product this week: Nyx HD eye primer. If that doesn’t count, Sleek in Rose Gold.
Any beauty discoveries (new or old) No beauty products. That wonderfully awful parody of a 90s tutorial going around. Nars Anna over Mac Soar lip liner isn’t a look I like, although it was a reasonable idea.
Amy, isn’t that 90’s “tutorial” hilarious? I am guilty of sharing that on my FB page! ???
Skin tone: Very fair with neutral undertones, grey hair and deep brown eyes.
Favorite look: I used my usual base products, (still plugging along with the wrong shade of foundation but will get a better match on Thursday), which is the L’Oreal Fresh Face Foundation, Nars Creamy concealer in Chantilly, Cle de Peau finishing powder and Fenty Lavender powder to set under eye area. For my blush I used Ciate Glow to Illuminate in Summer Love. For the eyes I used 2 neutral browns from the Pony Glam palette for definition and transition and then added Pat McGrath Subversive Metalmorphasis shades Copper and Bronze on the mobile lid. I used Shiseido Brown Skinny Liner pencil to tightline. I didn’t use lipstick but rather used the Pat McGrath Lust gloss in Flesh Astral.
Your skin tone/coloring: Next to my name! (blue-green eyes)
Favorite look from the week: On Wednesday I did a little experiment that turned out much better than I expected! Eyes: MAC Orb browbone, Tete-A-Teint transition, Uninterrupted crease, the deep olive matte from Huda Emerald in outer V blended up and out, Colourpop Now & Zen inner tearducts, Play By Play inner 2/3 of lid, Up And Up on outer 1/3 of lid and lower lashline blended together with Game Changer, after applying my usual black tightline on upper lashline, I decided to forgo my usual black gel winged liner and used UD 24/7 Glide On in Stash instead to make a softer wing, and I LOVE this! Used it along lower lashline as well. Followed with usual lash routine. On cheeks: UD Jawbone, MAC Spring Flock blush, and ABH Amrezy highlighter. Lips: Nyx Ever SLP, MAC Hi-Fructease lipstick (just one pass), topped with Pleasure Planet Lipglass.
Your most used product this week: Foundation, brow products, mascara, skincare.
Any beauty discoveries (new or old)? Rediscovered just how much I love those green and golden Colourpop pressed eyeshadows I bought a few years ago!
A very pretty look Nancy and I love green and gold together. Such lovely complementary hues.

??? ?????? ??????????? (??? ?? ???):
*MAC Undercover Heroine sheers out beautifully and is very wearable for fair skin. I think it’s gorgeous, and MAC should make it permanent.
*Target.com has some MUG palettes. Even though I’m usually not crazy about MUG’s shadows, I felt compelled to get the Joyfully Jade quad (shimmery jade green, matte medium and dark browns, and shimmery light golden beige). I’m happy to report the shadows are all excellent!
Your skin tone/coloring: fair/cool skin (foundation matches: Fenty Pro Filt’r 110, Urban Decay All Nighter 2.5, NARS Natural Radiant Longwear 2.0 Mont Blanc, Kevyn Aucoin The Etherealist Light EF 02, L’Oreal True Match C3 Creamy Natural), gray eyes, brown hair with red highlights and scattered blonde/blue streaks
Favorite look from the week: Yesterday’s all-red look-Maybelline SuperStay Better Skin 10 Ivory concealer, Fenty Amber MatchStick, Fenty Pro Filt’r 110 foundation, Tarte Unstoppable Amazonian Clay blush, UD Slowburn (from Electric palette) as eyeshadow*, UD Love Drug 24/7 eyeliner on top lashlines, Maybelline Lasting Drama Matte 900 Rusty Terracotta eyeliner on bottom lashlines, Christian Louboutin Rouge Louboutin mascara, and Sephora R49 Belly Dancing Rouge Creme lipstick
Your most used product this week: Fenty Pro Filt’r 110 and Tarte Unstoppable
Any beauty discoveries (new or old): Red eye makeup really makes my gray eyes stand out!
*Usual disclaimer for UD Electric palette: the packaging says that Slowburn, Savage, Jilted, and Urban aren’t meant for eye use out of an abundance of caution; the red pigment they share has been deemed safe in European consumer safety tests but hasn’t been tested by the FDA here in the US; most people can safely use these shades as eyeshadow, but they’re generally not recommended on the inner rim and those with sensitive eyes should avoid eye use of these shades entirely. My source for all this is a phone conversation I had with a UD customer service rep when I first got the palette.
That Rusty Terracotta eyeliner looks like a gorgeous shade, your whole look sounds fabulous.
Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
Favourite look from the week: During the week I did a lucky dip in my eyeshadow quads and quints bag and pulled out my Tarina Tarantino Wonder Jewel quint. I used the soft mint shade as a back drop, the darker forest green on my lower lid, a smidgeon of the brown in my crease and the gold shade in my inner corners. I paired it with my new, and very much loved, Maybelline Spice for Me lipstick.
Your most used product this week: Maybelline Spice For Me lipstick. At this rate, I am going to get a back up!
Any beauty discoveries (new or old): I really miss Tarantino’s makeup products. The Jewel palette is beautiful and I resolve to use it more often.
I miss Tarantino’s stuff, too. The products I have from her are wonderful.
Your skin tone/coloring: above with freckles, green/gray/blue eyes, warm brown hair.
Favorite look from the week: I did a bright pink and gold look using the ABH Riviera palette that I really loved, using Estate as my transition, Coastline and Monte Carlo in my crease, Bahamas in my outer corner, and a bit of Cannes and Palm over that to further deepen; then I used Palermo in the middle of my lid and Inheritance on the inner part overlapping a bit. I used the ND Darya palette for blush and went with a glossy lip using Fenty Gloss Bomb in Fu$$y.
Your most used product this week: No. 7 Lift and Illuminate Serum Foundation, ND Darya/Bloom palettes and Tom Ford Lip Color in Casablanca.
Any beauty discoveries… I keep rediscovering and rediscovering that a bit of foundation works just as well, if not better, as under eye concealer.
