Too Faced Bronzed & Poreless Pore Perfecting Bronzer Review, Photos, Swatches
Too Faced Bronzed & Poreless Pore Perfecting Bronzer
Too Faced Bronzed & Poreless Pore Perfecting Bronzer ($30.00 for 0.35 oz.) is described as a “matte bronze.” It’s a medium tan with warm, orange undertones and a matte finish. Urban Decay Naked Flushed Bronzer is slightly browner. Burberry Summer Glow is warmer, darker, and satiny.
The formula is supposed to add warmth and radiance to the skin while minimizing “the appearance of pores, fine lines, and imperfections.” The texture is incredibly soft, finely-milled, and velvety. It’s so soft that it is a little powdery, so I recommend using a light touch and a soft brush with the product to minimize excess powder kick-up. The powder is effortless to apply; blends instantly and easily. It sits beautifully on the skin and gives it a softer, smoother appearance overall; it never looks powdery, and it definitely helped to soften the [appearance of] texture of my skin. Bronzed & Poreless wears well, too, and I had no trouble getting a nice and long nine hours of it without fading.

Definitely going to check this out – I have a weakness for bronzes (and highlighters and blushes and eyeshadows and lip products -and lol). Do you think it would work on an NW20 skin tone or do you think it might pull orange?
You can see how powdery it is in the swatch before it is blended. I bet that it just melts into the skin! I have the same skin tone as you Christine (when I do not hit the tanning bed…I know I know I know…), and although I would love to try this I think it will get lost on me as well and especially after tanning. It is always funny to me how things that are meant to be bronzers do not work for me when I am tan. I think it is interesting how we all have “issues” on some it’s too orange and on others the bronzer can be used as a powder (I actually use Cargo’s Blue Ray Bronzer as a powder in the summer!).
The name of that gloss is so amusing to me.
It’s nice. Very subtle.
Maybe a bit orange for me, but I think it looks like a very wearable bronzer shade. Bronzers have come so far in the last 2-3 years methinks.
Ahhh I’m wondering now if I should have gotten this instead of the milk chocolate soleil bronzer. I’m an extremely fair redhead and while the shade works nicely in the milk chocolate bronzer, it definitely extenuates my pores like crazy. This actually looks a tad lighter (which might be even better for my skin tone). Did you notice that it really did minimize the look of pores?
Yes, it did!
I know this is a dumb question, but do you put this all over your face? Or just cheeks? I am always confused with bronzers. I have oily skin so they don’t work well for me.
Totally up to you! If it’s really dramatic, then probably not all over, but if it’s a subtler color on you, then all over could work!
Cremes are my first choice as they match my skin. The two-faced bronze is interesting! Looks good on you.
This is gorgeous, I love it! It looks so natural on you too!
You look beautiful Christine!
Thanks, Sahar!
any mac dupes for this? is “gingerly” similar to this?
I don’t think I have Gingerly!
Does any other retailer other than too faced.com sell it? Like Ulta, Sephora…? Thanks in advance
I only saw it at Too Faced right now!
cute, i love the texture but it’s too orange-y
Seeing how lovely you always look has actually led to one big question in my head. And I’m not sure where to put it! Though this post is the one that finally prompted me to ask it.
What makeup brushes do you use regularly?
Brushes can be big purchases and I fear shedding and scratchiness whenever I look to get new ones. So I come to you! I trust you more than a sales person or customer reviews on store web sites to give an honest opinion on which work best. Especially when there’s a brush for everything!
I used Bobbi Brown’s blush brush for this!
Wow! Even though the bronzing isn’t too noticeable on your skin tone, your skin just looks amazingly flawless in those photos!
Is this lighter/darker than the bronzer in “milk chocolate”??
Sorry, I don’t think I have that!
OMG!
For sure squealed alittle bit when I saw Too Faced made a new bronzer, specially within the Poreless line as I own almost all of it!
So Chocolate Soliel is absolutely my favorite bronzer right now for countouring my face. Im in love with the texture and scent of the cocoa. Only problem is the powder is so pigmented its easy to heavyhand it.
Christine, do you have a Chocolate Soliel to compare it to in terms of how much lighter it is and pigmentation wise?
Sorry, I don’t think I have that!
It appears nice. Although I can’t tell completely what it would look like without you smiling. I am interested to see the result on dimensions when the face is straight.
