We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Have to agree, Christine. At a glance they look like the swatches I’d expect to see from Tarte or even Too Faced (although I give TooF props for seemingly updating their game on recent releases). I think the original core products released by Tom Ford are still the best, and I don’t get impressed by holiday or limited releases from the brand. (Honestly my biggest concern with the new quad releases is what quads they are discontinuing, and waiting to see how the couple of new quads I like the look of actually perform!)

An underwhelming collection this year. Am interested in the eyeliners, especially the plum shade. The eye and cheek palette looks wearable though I’m sure I have similar shades. (PSA: Regarding the price, I’ve seen every TF Eye and Cheek palette at the CCO for 30-50% off.)

Thanks Christine! Also for your explanation of CPs new eyeshadow formula – super helpful. I hadn’t realized they were as easy to use, and gave the option of a sheerer wash, which I like.

Well, the gray does look good. But I’ll bet you have an old MUFE dupe for the gray, anyway. God, I miss those. I saw vapor-rumors there would be a MUFE eye palette for holiday, a big, long one…but it continues to be vapor. That shadow reformulation gets my vote for worst idea of the decade.

This collection was up at the Scottsdale Fashion Square Sephora when I was up there last Friday. One of my favorite SA’s and I were swatching it and I did consider getting the face/eye palette because 20% off, plus I was returning a lip gloss that looked horrid one me. However, I very quickly realized that I had a fantastic dupe for 3 out 4 eyeshadows already and definitely one for the blush probably, too. Gotta say, though. Neither he nor I were 100% on board for the palette, because it is fairly easy to dupe.

Am I the only one confused by the shade names on the powder and the illuminating drops? They seem like they are backwards. Now I’m wondering if I ordered the wrong ones.

Saw this in Seattle and underwhelming is the word. Just too much competition out there in the beauty industry to release products at this price point that are not super formula’s, are not unique and have so many dupes that are actually better. This does make me sad but it is good for my pocket book. The only thing I picked up this entire year from Tom Ford is the lippie, Chadwick.
