Beautiful colors, but Tom Ford is so out of my budget I don’t even consider buying his stuff…
I love the metallic shades from the shadow duos.
Can you clarify if the actual name for the cream color for eyes is ‘Spring 2015’?? Seems a bit odd, heh. Thanks!
Yes, that’s the name.
Any idea what the model is wearing on her eyes?
That plum duo is to die for but $60 is a little too steep for me for 2 eyeshadows.
Tom Ford is out of my price range, especially for something trendy/gimmicky like a green mascara, but this look is beautiful and I might copy it with other brands’ products. 😉
Have always been curious about the brand, but ugh .. $$$$ .. I’m always fearful of buying such expensive products and then .. not liking them, or they don’t work out, or .. heaven forbid – I drop it on the hard floor!!
Monica.
Wonderful take on spring!
My Neiman Marcus Beauty advisor contacted me yesterday about ordering for this collection. Christine, you’ve seen the collection–are there any must-haves? I am thinking about the plum eyeshadow duo, the teal mascara, and the lip shine in Lust. I was looking to supplement my order with other Tom Ford products. Any recommendations?
I love some of these products more than I would have thought I would from looking at that photo. I’ll probably pass, though, because, like Alix, I find these prices just not worth trying to justify, if that makes any sense at all.
Ripe Plum might be my first TF purchase!
What the fudge. $60 for a duo? This is making their quads look reasonably priced!
I am only ok with this price for the duo because I buy the burberry single eyeshadows which are around $30 each anyway…=/
I just don’t understand how if the quads are $80, the duos are $60. How does that make sense?
They look beautiful, but I don’t know that they look $180-beautiful 🙁
Teal mascara sounds fun, but that price! Ouch 🙁
Love the pretty and bold colors (and no neutrals!), but $ 60 for 2 shadows is too much for me. I could get a Burberry quad for that price, and Burberry has great shadows. The smoky grey cream shadow sounds interesting but $42 for one in ouchie !
i saw swatches of these shadows on line a few days ago. while they look beautiful, they look nothing like the promo images. i wish brands would be more accurate in their advertising. the promo look is drop dead gorgeous, i just don’t know how i would be able to get it from the products they are marketing. this certainly isn’t specific to this release, or even tom ford, it just bug me.
i will be getting the cream shadow, just because i love the formula so much. i think i’ll have to see the duos in person. i am a sucker for all things blue, but i might have plenty that are similar.
So prettyyyy. Love the first eyeshadow!
I know it’s Tom Ford, but $44 for a teal mascara? I just don’t know how you’d get enough use out of it to justify the cost. I’m glad that the option is available for people who are so inclined though. I’d totally be willing to try it at drugstore prices.
Beautiful collection. I love the promo image. The green lashes against the intense purple eyeshadow: So stunning.
I love the nail color the model is wearing…it all looks fantastic on HER….
Oh my..this is my favorite spring 2015 so far! Figures, sooo expensive! $60 for a duo!? I need reviews ASAP,lol!
the eye look from the ad doesnt even look like it could be completed with these products!!
Just look at these beautiful colors! The duos and polish look very pretty
I would LOVE to know exactly what was used on the model’s eyes, because I think it’s awesome! But definitely purple, not plum, and the eyeshadow is plum. Maybe the blue opalescent over top???
The teal mascara is amazing, and I would get it in a heartbeat if the price tag weren’t so ridiculous. I can’t think of anyone else making a teal. Art Deco has an emerald, which is fairly subtle (more of a green tinted black, same as the Rimmel one), and L’Oréal Miss Manga has a fantastic aqua/turquoise that can be built up into this kind of look, but neither of those is teal. Hmm.
Me too! The eye look in the ad campaign is gorgeous! Love teal and purple together, very vibrant.
Love the blues and greens in the eye shadow duos – hopefully the quality will be there. However I am concerned that they are naming a product “bitter bitch” – what an awful name for a product.
By the way, that teal intense mascara sounds right up my alley, but I won’t be able to pay that kind of price. I really hope there are some more affordable dupes around!
Sometimes Chanel comes out with very colorful mascara in Spring or Summer. Maybe wait for that?
I agree, it’s insulting to women. Some people think using that word disempowers it, but it just doesn’t work. What’s TF trying to do, charge us a fortune, insult us and see if we’ll co operate with it?
Wow, this collection looks gorgeous! The teal mascara looks very tempting! I love teal and green 🙂
The duos looks interesting but they’re pricey compared to the quads. And the best part of the collection looks like the cream eyeshadow. Tom Ford’s cream shadow formula is (almost) always fantastic!
I’m in love with the teal lashes! I really have a hard time with colored mascara even showing up on me. TF is also way out of my budget. I only own 1 mini lipstick from him. Lol
Sorry, but this just doesn’t thrill me. I do like his promo pic black/eye nude lip look. I think I would like to try to rock the nude lip look. Is it specifically TF Spanish Pink lip color? Im also looking foreword to trying the Chantecaille Spring “Glacier” look, which features a neutral eye with an iridescent fuchsia lip.
Im bing very picky so I will have enough $$ to buy all of the Chanel summer 2015 collection!!!
Beautiful color, inflated prices though. The model looks like a blowup doll, not feeling it!
I really, really do not like that there is a shade called “Bitter Bitch.”
The Ripe Plum is calling me, but I think it looks so close to the Enchanted Quad which I own.
I see that they added some Aura pigment eyeshadows to their duos. Against deep backgrounds, they look amazing.
First off, they did a great job with the press photo – those colours look amazing on the model’s eyes. I’d be tempted to go for the Teal Mascara is it wasn’t $44….really, I mean I know its TF but….
Too dark for Spring to me.
