We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! They’ve also been showing up at my TJ Maxx (here in SoCal)
The suggestion that the CCO carries it so they must be getting rid of it is stupid. A CCO carries ALL Estee Lauder brands. It is has permanent items as well as LE. I’ve seen Tom Ford, Estee Lauder, Aerin, Smashbox, Clinique and MAC there. It’s not bc things aren’t selling but overstock and actually I myself get quite a few things there. I don’t know about Sephora and I don’t blame Estee Lauder for trying to attract a younger crowd nor do I mind Kendall Jenner as rep. She’s current and young so it makes sense to have her and I rather see her than Kylie or Gigi Hadid. I think Estee Lauder has long had a problem reigning in a younger crowd. They used to have the Flirt line at Kohls and that didn’t last either. I don’t know how well Estee Edit is doing. I have a mattifying powder from them that’s pretty nice. Not sure I’ll buy anything here
NOTHING about Estée Edit reads “young crowd”. I think it’s a total miss. They should just drop the Estée name and go a totally different route. Most people in the industry seem to agree.. Best of luck to them.
I agree. While Lauder has pretty good products, they do have to ditch the name and old looking packaging. All of their core clients are dying off (not to be rude, but it’s true) so they need to reinvent themselves.
Never tried the line (a bit expensive for me…actually, never tried Estée Lauder either, unfortunately!) but if I weren’t on a no-buy, I might have been tempted by the clearance.
I wonder if this whole brand is being phased right out. I loved the double eyeshadow palette (Gritty + Glow) but hated the only other thing I tried from the line – the sleeping mask. That alone has kept me from trying any of their other products but I am so glad I got the shadows and highlighters. Mind you, I’d love to see some of their stuff on sale somewhere like TJ Maxx (though I’m not sure there any of those in Canada or at least not near me).
TJ Maxx owns Winners and Marshalls, and I’ve been seeing EE products in both for about a week now here in Ottawa.
I saw some of these items at TJ maxx here in Illinois. I also saw the eyeshadow cream and powder duos from this line there too. I was hoping those would be available on Sephora on sale. Would have picked up a couple.
Yay! I’m getting your newsletter into my inbox – the problem was with hotmail.com and my son and I have been working with them for the past 4-5 days sorting it out.
This is a great deal if you held off buying any of the products because of the price….no such luck here in Aus.
YAYYY!!
I’ve picked one thing: the Eye Kajal in Bold Bordeaux/Urban Nude. That’s the only thing that appealed to me from the EE collection.
